so, in 2022, i posted a total of like 8 drawings. that's not a lot--what gives? ouo;
well, first, i'm just doing this for fun, so when school or work don't give me the opportunity to draw digitally, i don't have much to post >u<
second, i've been hooked on either rocket league or splatoon 3 for the entire past 12 months, so you'd have a better chance of spotting me in champ 1 or x rank lobbies than on here >u>;
most notably though, i've been caught up in art-style limbo. there's a lot i love about my style, and i have been very happy with how i've progressed as an artist--only positive self-talk here! so i've set my sights on improvements i want to make, but i'm unsure how to accomplish or implement a lot of them yet.
the good news: i'm invested in my art again! :D
i've been very motivated to experiment with new ideas. some of this will stay in my sketchbook, but other experiments get to see the light of day on here! expect to see more album art-type pieces showing up in the near future, and eventually stuff playing around with line art and composition. my end goal is to make my art more confident, energetic, and colorful than it is now, and maybe i learn a bit extra along the way nvn
i also got plans!!
no promises on art output rate, but i'm always trying to do more!
i'm aiming for more fun art ideas--gone are my days of same-three-poses-syndrome, here comes more cute ideas and pretty color pallets! nvn
in addition, nsfw content may return? i've been toying with some ambitious ideas, and it's too soon to say anything for sure. but it could be worth sticking around for if you wanna take the chance :3
anyway, thanks to everyone for sticking around and encouraging me with all your support, be it comments, favs, or just being here! :D

it's now been 2 years since i made this account and started my journey posting my drawings on here! it's still crazy to me how over 150 of you like my art enough to watch me on here now. i'm really honored! nvn
last year i talked about how my goal was to focus on variety, and i was successful, since 2019 was only half vaps instead of 90% vaps i think...
but actually it was a lot of fun to branch out and draw some other 'mons, like vulpix, litleo, and ofc all the other eeveelutions, as well as a few of other people's oc's too! i might have try designing a few more oc mons myself after seeing how fun those designs were.
it was also really cool to see how you guys like my sketches too! i wasn't sure if they would just clutter up sub boxes or what, but i guess i was just being paranoid there haha.
also on the sub box note, wow fa changed a lot the other day. i'm not on here very long in a day, but i happened to be clicking around right before it changed and wondered if i clicked off the site or what. and it was just after i got used to where all the settings were too lol.
anyways, idk if i'll have much time to draw this year, now that i'm in university for both spring and fall semesters, but if my workload lightens up from last semester, i'm hoping to hit a few goals this year!
-first, i'm gonna shoot for more variety! so pretty much the same as last year, since vaps are my comfort mons.
-second, i'm gonna try to do more trad sketches. basically doodles in class, and depending on how much i do it, they might stay on twitter with my other low quality posts.
-third, i wanna draw more oc's! i've got some characters that have just been sitting in the back of my head or in a text document for too long, and it'll give me an opportunity to get more creative now that i've settled into my style more or less.
-fourth, i wanna celebrate milestones more! if i hit a big on here or on twitter again, i'll be doing another raffle as soon as i have the time.
-fifth and finally, i wanna not get burned out. if i'm hitting an art block or just can't handle keeping up with art and school at the same time, i'll take a break and cut myself off from here. don't be worried if i disappear or don't respond for a while; chances are i'm just taking a break to keep this from becoming an obsession.
i don't think i'll be able to hold myself to much of an upload schedule, but i'm hoping for a minimum of 2 uploads per month in whatever proves to be my busy months, and more whenever i have the time.
oh also i have inkbunny and deviantart accounts now. i'm slowly catching up on old art there and i doubt i'll do anything exclusive on either, but i'm on those other places now if i get kicked off of here or something lol.

my explanation for that last upload being lazy is that i've been preparing to/moving into school, so my summer is pretty much over now. i don't think it'll make a big long-term difference in how often i get to draw, but the next couple weeks will almost certainly be sketches or missed uploads. unu
on the bright side, a couple weeks ago i completed my goal of uploading weekly for a year straight!! thank you all for the love and nice words that motivated me to keep on going! i appreciate you all very much!! nvn

it's been a year since i started this account now, so i figured it's about time i make one of these. tbh i didn't expect anybody to be able to find me at all on here, so thank you to everybody who somehow did!
i spent most of last year trying to find a consistent style or at least something i feel comfortable with, and i feel like i've learned a lot from it. i still i'm not completely satisfied with how my style is right now, but i do know that i never will be regardless of how much i improve, so i'm not going to linger too long on that part of my goals.
this year, i hope to finally do what i've been building up confidence to do most of last year, which is to finally start drawing more variety. i mostly have vague ideas right now, such as drawing pokémon other than eevee/lutions and drawing other people's characters. as for drawing other people's characters, doing commissions is something quite a while away in my future, but i might do requests sometime over the summer.
assuming my unstable connection doesn't boot me off this site for good this year, i hope to keep up the same rate of uploads, with maybe some sketches thrown in between that otherwise wouldn't see the light of day. i've got a busy year ahead of me, so it won't be too much of a surprise if i miss some weeks, but i'm never gonna improve if i don't try just because i'm feeling lazy, so we'll see how i do.
tl;dr: as soon as i feel more comfortable with my style, you can expect more variety than just vaporeon and umbreon from me, and maybe i'll be doing requests in the future.
i appreciate every little bit of support, thanks for the great 2018, and i hope 2019 will be even better!
