-I have no functional computer
-my parents are getting divorced
-my dog is sickly and old
-my new job is fulfilling, but hard and strenous
- I failed yet ANOTHER batch of commissions
-The aunt i connected with the most, a super buddhist hippie dippie type with 2 kids, drank herself to death and died horribly
-My little brother has gone down a dark road, he steals from me and my family voraciously, even bypassing our attempts to hide cash and other valuables, spending all of it to aid his weed-peddling
-I can’t help but feel like everyone is over me. I haven’t put in anything into the fandom for a while, which is the primary sign that I’ve lost interest, so people move past me
-I’m 25 years old, surrounded by terrible family, and I still have no fucking clue still how to get out.

This has been the darkest year of my life.
So dark, I don’t really know how to pay attention to my passions or love in this fandom anymore.

But any of you know people have their lows and their highs.
My highs are fucking HIIIIGH
But my lows are LOW.
I don’t know if this journal alone is going to convince any one, or hell, if anyone is going to read it,
But to those who do, please know I love TF, I love the crazy and/or awesome people I’ve met from it (that means you, stupid!) and I love making people happy with my art and can’t wait to jump back in.

Lol I’m really sorry to pop out such a rando journal about something so dumb but I’m kinda strugglin, and really unsure why

I’m pretty damn fuckin qualified for jobs like Starbucks, Panera, warehouse work, landscaping (Just a fuckin JOB to make money yknow?)
I went to college, I’m really articulate and good at being social, I do have the hippie/viking look going on but jesus, if only you had a quarter for each time you saw a man-bun at starbucks, right? I’ve told every employer so far that I give myself a crash course on machine operation bia youtube, I PREPARE and emphasize how I’m really ready to work and do what I need to do for a paycheck. I dress well!

I just witnessed a young girl at my local starbucks shake hands with the manager and congratulated for getting the job after an interview where she said “Iunno.” “Yeah, whatever” and “like,” about a million times, and WAS ON FUCKING TWITTER ON HER PHONE DURING THE INTERVIEW.

Holy fuck yo. What the hell?

Sorry this is more a vent journal then anything, but I’m seriously kinda losing my mind over this, searching for a job has been like a parttime job for me for the last year and its yielded only a dozen interviews, all except 2 of which went really, really well!
I can’t land a damn thing, even when I’ve made friends with the managers on like first name basis!
I have about 10 jobs that are at the “We’ll let you know as soon as something opens up” and its been that way for months and months. Maybe I’m just a psycho in person and i dont even know it!!!
Maybe I just cant do jobs where I have superiors!

God, I havent even gotten to the point with any of them where i need to worry about drug screening, so I dont even know what I’m going to do there when/if that happens Dx

Sorry y’all, this is just me issues, but if any of you have some advice i can gleam a modicem of knowledge from, I’d really appreciate it.
Cuz not even my network of buddies and professional acquaintances are helping any more at this point, and I need work, like, NOW

Seriously, I bought the fuckin thing so I could excel at digital art, and yet every software has eventually shit the bed given enough updates!


Long story short, I can't do digital linework for my commissions. The one reliable program I use FOR NOW isnt struggling with coloring, but it can't do precise pen strokes for the line work! I tried booting up SAI and Manga Studio just to do the linework, and was immediately reminded why i uninstalled the pieces of shit!
Pressure sensitivity, certain specific options blanking out, bucket tool consistently freezing the program, it just doesnt. fuckin. end.

If by the time I complete one of the pictures and I still havent found a digital inking solution, I will happily reimburse the charges for digital linework off the bill. (approx 5 dollars for the couple hours it takes to ink digitally, instead just inking traditionally)

So yeah, lately I've been in a bit of a slump since my plans for Seattle fell through.
Im not sure if these things are directly correlated but lately my brain has been consumed with my ECHOS story/game, which im proud to say im making good headway with, meanwhile my brain is straight up BLANK when it comes to TF.

I got the final word that to do my own thing, basically I'm disowned by my family, so FUCK do I feel liberated, I'm SO excited to get out and start my adventure finally!

Now my next step is to CAREFULLY pick the destination for the one-way ticket out of New Jersey-

Here's where I'm interested in: Somewhere in Colorado; Austin TX, Seattle-Tac WA, Baton Rouge LA, Oklahoma City OK, and Milwaukee WI

My criteria is I will have a decent bank account leaving, but no job, so I'm living on the cheap for the time being. I also want a hip place to be young and creative, I'm going to be ambitious trying to start a career in everything from stand up comedy to selling art at festivals and shit, or even writing my novel!
Also, if it's a place that's currently near-impossible to get even a menial labor job, I might need to avoid that, I need to pay rent somehow!

I don't care much about the bar count for a city, Im definitely more interested in the marijuana tolerance though, and also, I just want to know who of you crazy fuckers I'll be around to hang with maybe! :Love:

SAI is no longer available, Photoshop is bonkers, Art Rage looks cool but its only supposed to replicate traditional painting, not illustrations like mine with the fill tool,

I really DON'T have a plan though, you guys. Im an actor who sincerely believes its the best way i can make money, but i also just kind of want to have a simple existence, work for rent, experience life outside of the homestead.
