Hey guys!
No the title isn't a joke. I'm legitimately leaving. So, I thought I'd take some time to explain in detail what lead up to this point and where to find me if you by chance even still want to chat with me or see my future content.
Although if you don't care then feel free to ignore. I'd understand.
Okay, so I've been on this site for a long time. Almost hmm... thirteen years I believe since I made my first account in 2012. I've commissioned so many art pieces, chat with a ton of artist and went through many a trial and change.
So, In 2023 (I think) Is when I finally created my second account and abandoned my first one. Cause at the time I couldn't change my name and I needed a fresh start. For the most part it was going well. I was continuing
to commission art, I got recognized by a few game devs and I was making YouTube videos on the daily, but I still felt alone.
On the side of the furry fandom I did meet a few artist that idk! Curbed some of that loneliness.

are two people that come to mind. And although it was mostly business with Luminaria. I always appreciated that she made edits of art for me. I even got art with her once. Same with CatCouch. I really appreciated their advice, but their ability to come up with silly/naughty comments about their own art on the fly was funny. I think she even made a journal where I exclaimed my lack of family, friends etc. And how possibly I could make friends in the fandom.
Alas something was missing. Even though I had people that I enjoyed chatting with. I still felt like we still weren't the same. Like there was a part of me that I couldn't see in anyone else. That's when I met 
She was going through an issue with a her teeth and something clicked inside me. I don't know if it was my innate nature to care for someone or that I could see myself in her position. Initially she blocked me on one of my accounts and I couldn't really understand why, but we cleared everything up.
Afterward I helped her with her problem for the most part and we bagan chatting. Over time we became closer and closer to the point me and her started tossing around the idea of her moving to the U.S and even crazier LIVING WITH ME. which I had my reservations about, but I welcomed the idea.
But like any part of my life there's always that dark cloud constantly looming over the horizon. got banned. From what she told me. It was because of her begging for money. Which I understood the reason. Her living in an impovised country, below minimum wage, full of gang wars. Add to that she's young and not being paid by her boss. Of course you'd resort to some questionable behavior.
She eventually made another account, but me developing a protective nature over her and knowing FA would come after her. I decided to temporarily let her use my old account until we met in June. At the time I gave her my account I went through the rules and didn't find anything related to letting someone use your account. So I thought we were fine.
Alexis eventually quit her job. Since she wasn't being paid and made most of her money through waitressing tips. Months passed and everything was good until... she got banned again while on my old account. She made another account, but before I responded to her I decided to try and appeal the ban. With no luck. A staff member explained their reasoning behind the ban in somewhat snippy looking down on you kind of tone redirecting it to being my fault.
Which made me look up the rules again and I don't know if I missed it initially, It was hidden somewhere or if it was simply added in as way to be petty, but there was a rule about transferring ownership. Though the way I see it. In regards to us I feel it was an inccorect ban. Whilst I did let her use my account I never gave her ownership. A prime example of something like this would be you owning a car and you let someone else drive it. They're using it, but that's not declared as them owning it.
That's neither here nor there though. I Also find it weird that the ban didn't hit right away on my old account. Like it was planned until she got comfortable. So, I went back and told Alexis to stop making new accounts. She wasn't helping the situation and she was very receptive to that. We then moved our conversations to another site and still plan to move to more like Twitter, Discord and YouTube.
In a way this whole situation felt like an attempt to push me and her apart because of a stupid little mistake she made. That I... also made, but in a way it brought us closer together. Sure she is still kind of distraught over all this, but it'll be okay. I will protect no matter what and if that means giving up a part of my past, my furry identity. Then so be it.
Though this chapter of my life closes, The story continues.
I'm gonna log out in a bit and from here on out if I ever need to view this site. it'll be as a non-member. If this account gets banned or stays up after this is irrelevant to me. I love you all for putting up with me for all these years and goodbye for now.

Hey guys!
I don't usually make journals much nowadays, but I wanna start doing that again.
Since it is a good way to get your thoughts out there while also talking about certain topics. So, anyways I recently heard that the founder and creator
of FA Dragoneer passed. It is saddening news. And although I never really met the fella. I am thankful they created
such a place where you can show your love for art in many different forms.
With a community that's mostly accepting. Unlike other sites.
I've owned many characters over the years that haven't stuck around until I met Molly and Jupiter.
I feel like none of that would've been possible for me without a place like FA.
And I am eternally grateful in that regard.
My condolences go out to the great Dragoneer's family in this troubling time.
I also hope that Fur Affinity sticks around for a long time. I cherish this site and the connections I've made
in my stay here with art enthusiast and artist alike. Rest well Dragoneer and thank you for everything.
