Tiny Paws Con - Gaming Shout Out
General | Posted 9 years agoHey everyone. This is a quick shout out to all anthro fans and tabletop gamers. There’s a new furry con in Connecticut and I’m looking for gamers who want to help share the fun.
Tiny Paws Con (http://tinypawscon.org/) is being held September 8th - 10th in Danbury, CT at the Crowne Plaza. Tiny Paws is a first year convention that while themed around furry characters is focused on the “making” and “creating” aspects of the fandom as well as the social aspects.
I am pleased to announce that I am the gaming director for this con and that means I’m on the lookout for people who want to running events, game demos, and general gaming meetups.
If interested, please reply to this message or email me at : gaming{at}tinypawscon{dot}org
Thanks everyone!

FurPocalypse 2015 - Gaming Shoutout
General | Posted 10 years agoThe FurPocalyopse is once again on the rise!
After a great first year, Connecticut’s Halloween Furry Con is coming back and there’s plenty of gaming going on.
Got a favorite game you’d like to share?
A tournament you’d like to see added to the event roster?
A console you’d be willing to loan for the weekend?
Is there anything from last year or have seen at another convention that you’d like to take part again at this year’s FurPocalypse?
Reply to this post below or drop me an email at: gaming(AT) furpocalypse (DOT) org (adding in the “@” and “.” were needed)
As before our gaming rooms (both tabletop and video gaming) will be open for all hours the con. So we are looking for volunteers to work those late late evening to early morning graveyard shifts so we can keep things running. Sign up and volunteer hours during these shifts count double.
Also, we will be hosting our gaming room libraries. If you have a video gaming system or game you’d like to loan please bring it by. Our check-in system is set up and ready to go to ensure you get everything back after the con (or whenever you’d like to pick things up)
My thanks to everyone! It’s the fans coming together that makes this convention great, and I look forward to working and gaming with all of you once again.

FurPocalypse Gaming Announcement.
General | Posted 11 years agoHey folks!
The FurPocalypse is nearly upon us! Fear not, for whatever turmoil and chaos may rain down from above we will at least have games! So check out the following announcements.
First and foremost, pre-registration is ending soon. You have until the 11th of October to get to the website and pre-register. If you're planning to come, please take advantage of this so you can more quickly get your badge and start enjoying the FurPocalypse! (https://furpocalypse.org/)
We will be having the good folks from ConnectiCon running several Magic: The Gathering Tournaments (Sealed Deck, Booster Draft, Commander, etc) and offering demos of several tabletop games. Be sure to stop by their store in the Tabletop Gaming Room.
The MIB from Steve Jackson games will be running demonstrations with everything from Munchkin to Revolution with many other excellent games in between.
Will have Miniature gaming events, and classic pub games, as well as a whole library of board and card games for folks to check out and enjoy.
And of course, we will have the FurPocalypse video game room. All loans of games, consoles and equipment welcome! Please stop by and revel in the virtual destruction!
Will be running a Nintendo 64bit Grab Bag Tournament on Saturday; details will be available at the convention.
Please note, the Poker and Blackjack events have been scaled back a bit for this new convention. Instead of Tournaments, we're just running smaller, more casual demonstration games.
If you have any questions please reply to this or drop me an email at: gaming[at]furpocalypse.org
Looking forward to seeing you soon
