BTW, some more updates to our terms.
First, Sally realized how good she actually is at this, so now her prices start at $30. Honestly, I think she should be at the same prices as me, but she wants to feel this out first n get more experience before she's comfortable with that.
Second, I updated some dated terms from when the commission process was more chaotic and high-volume. Those looking for commissions one week and the next back-to-back will be accepted as long as there isn't high demand for commissions. Currently our commission forms are low-volume and we expect to do commissions each week this month (possibly more), so go for it!

First of all, I decided I should probably raise my prices due to the state of economics obviously, and also I felt I deserve to have more for the quality of my sketches, plus the inclusion of shading. It's not that much more than before, $10 more than it used to be for the base cost. The additional costs are all now more consistent, and also I now offer backgrounds and flat color.
Second, Sally is now officially open for commissions. She set her prices at about half of mine for now since she's just getting started and wants to feel things out going forward (I honestly think she's worth more, but this is only temporary). Otherwise it all works the same as commissioning me (sqrlyjack is two people now, remember?). For y'all it goes to the same place, and then we each take what each of us makes after we're all done for the sake of simplicity. Her stuff's really good n dynamic, so definitely give her a go!

Posted 11 months agoBeen squatting over there for a while now but we started actually using bluesky. Ain't got much there yet but go ahead n give us a follow.

We also have big plans for next year mostly involving RtR and the VR world will continue on the side. It seems like an appropriate time for it.
For after that, we also finally know how we'll be re-starting Blax n Jack, for now called Untitled. You can thank Sal for breathing some new energy into all this. Preparations for it will be in the background as we work on RtR stuff next year. Sulky Sad Bobcat also hasn't been forgotten. Our viciously stupid FNAF au exists for fun, but something may come of it some day. But we're aiming to at least get one RtR project out the door next year, more stuff if things go well enough. Who knows.

Unauthorized Reuploads
Posted a year agoJust wanted to mention that if you see anyone else reuploading my work to other sites, they did it without permission and we don't endorse it or agree with it.
What's even more strange is that the people who do it ain't even "real fans" (like, the have zero respect for me as a person) and are always makin it a point to misgender me n try to recuperate my work? Can't imagine why they'd do that, what could possibly be motivating them. Real headscratcher. Imagine savin hundreds of images from someone you don't even like that you been hate-following for years because you decided this random furry artist is some sort of big time internet villain oppressin everyone somehow and needs to be "exposed". And then you "expose" them by postin it to a porn site only to get met with confusion and disinterest.
It's really weird, they're really weird. They need to get a therapist n get a new hobby that ain't so creepy. If you're someone who did somethin like this n you're reading this, I care about ya, shug. Get some help.

Posted a year agoPlease welcome my fiance Salina, the new co-owner of SqrlyJack.
She'll be posting art on all my - or should I say - OUR accounts from now on. In fact, she already has! I've always wanted someone to collaborate with and there's nobody more capable than her. She felt conflicted about making accounts to post her work on after her previous experiences with being an "online content creator" and I've been feelin the same about my online presence, so we decided "let's make the name sqrlyjack make sense again."
She's a chipmunk, I'm named Jaclyn, and together we're sqrlyjack! c:

What I'm up to
Posted a year agoHowdy! So about that FNAF AU me, my fiance, n my friends been cookin up. The art n comics are a smaller piece of what we're workin on for that. It kinda reminds me of back when I'd perform in fursuit. It's been nice gettin back into that in a new way.
Also been learning guitar. Got one for my birthday. I know 9 chords as of writing this, two of em are barre chords n I can surprisingly get those right half the time despite barre chords bein somethin considered more challenging (and I totally understand why now lol). Been gettin the hang of chord changes too, that's half the challenge right there. But yea, it's been a lot of fun learnin this. c:

Posted a year agoYeah so a lil while back gumroad decided to stop allowing nsfw content, but I still got the Pork model available on itch.io anyway so that's whatever.
