Summer 2024 UPDATE
Posted a year agoHey alll!!!
Sorry for the lack of updates this year. As I stated before, I am taking courses in both animation and now editing. Idk how well these skills will serve me in the future, but I just have a dream I'd like to accomplish you know? i've already started a youtube channel (there's nothing really on it now so I won't provide a link outside of what you see in my linktree just yet). In a way, I'm nervous about uploading my animations.....they just don't feel good enough to me. Even tho I've only done ONE semester of it lol so clearly i'm new.
Problem is, the school near me doesn't do much in the sense of advanced animation techniques. I may have to do online courses for those which is a tad annoying. Still, I just really really really want to animate some of my favorite scenes from beast wars.
Sometimes I even DREAM of animating beast wars megatron saying certain lines, but then the next day I either do work or avoid it.
Ugh, hate anxiety. Either way, I'm gonna try guys....gonna try to make this work and make some videos for you all to see on youtube even if they end up being animatics (which is also something i'd LOVE to do).
In other news, I'm so happy at the amount of new follows here on FA as well as twitter/insta! You guys are so kind! I know me drawing fanart for the web series Murder Drones isn't for everyone, but it makes me happy. Glad I'm making fanart tho while the fandom is slightly more 'chill' about certain ships >_> it's a shame that these days ppl gotta be SO careful about the ship art they make, ESPECIALLY when the ship itself has like....nothing wrong with it lmao. For example, I remember back in the day ppl hated on genji/mercy from overwatch. I didn't personally ship it, but like....the hate was so weird---to the point that I felt obligated to voice my stance on it--jeez. Ah well, either way, I'm just happy making murder drones and transformers art, though I also love doing DBZ art as well <3 one day I'll make some sexy majin buu stuff. Cause that was my JAM when i was in high school.
Either way, sorry for the random rant. Sorry also for both the lack of updates and lack of sales this year. Due to my schooling, I just haven't had the time for sales, tho the annual 20% off mass effect sale is still gonna happen on N7 day as it always does.
Wish me luck guys, hopefully i'll get over my anxiety and just MAKE those animations that I want to--- <3

Mini Announcements and CHANGES

I have some announcements that will be expanded upon at a later date but for now, I would like to warn you ahead of time as to what may come:
1.) There will be a new Raffle: To celebrate having over 4,000 followers on both here and twitter <3 Though if there are at least 20 of you who join in on the raffle here on FA, then I will have a separate raffle (aka: two sets of winners) to choose from instead of just one combining entries from here on FA and also on Twitter.
2.) I will include a permanent 20% off discount for any youtubers/streamers that intend to use my art on their channel/videos (with proper credit of course). So again, in order to qualify for this discount, you must have a streaming/youtube account with at least 10 videos and the art you commission must be used in some way on your account. Whether it be as an icon, banner, thumbnail, or in the video itself some how. Let me know if you have any questions about this!
3.)Starting at the end of this month, I'm going to learn how to animate. So.....long story short, I've always regretted not taking animation as a potential major or minor during my college years. Instead opting for illustration/cartooning. While I have learned a TON at my school, I just don't want to go on regretting what was, you know? So, this semester I am taking a beginners animation course (as I have tried learning on my own with video tutorials but just can't seem to grasp it? I need at teacher you know?). Because of this, commissions may take a bit longer these next few months and I 'might' be introducing commission slots per month. We'll see how it goes in february and take it from there but just thought I'd warn you all.
Maybe I'll find out animation isn't for me? Maybe I'll find out it's been my calling all along? Who knows. But I really.....REALLY...want to do this so I am going for it.

HOWEVER---your image must have SOMETHING, even the smallest thing to do with Mass Effect. Could even be of your OC/sona who has NOTHING to do with ME but wearing ME related clothing or with an ME character or Mass Effect related oc.
Again: This sale applies to all characaters/ocs/sonas/etc. who have to do with the Mass Effect series (ie: ME alien OCs etc.). As well as characters that DON'T have anything to do with ME but are either wearing/interacting with ME-related material! :D

NSFW Updates! and Sale

Hope you're all doing well! I'm admittedly trying to get by and hopefully improve my work ten-fold! <3
It'll be a long journey, might even have to go back to school but for now, I'm gonna do my best. Also do NOT forget:

Now, onto the news seen in the title of this journal. About NSFW work......
So, when I first started this account I was talked into it by two wonderful friends. They believed that making NSFW art online was a good way to get people to notice our art. I agreed, but never realized the journey it would put me on. You see.....in the past, art teachers made me draw nudes for YEARS. However, I'd always 'blot out' the genitalia every time. I did this mainly out of fear for what my family or anyone around me would say if they saw me drawing anything 'sexy'. But my friends gave me the courage to start this account I made a vow to FULLY show the genitalia and get over my shyness wit this account!
And it worked!!!!
I've met some wonderful people by making NSFW work here. Even when I was uncomfortable with some things you ALL were super kind and accepting about it. Seriously, i cannot thank you enough! Making NSFW work has not only broadened my horizons and improved my anatomy art, but it's also given me the courage to be more bold in my work overall.
That is why....I find this part very hard to talk about.
Over the years....I've sadly become a bit....bored with NSFW work. I'm EXTREMELY grateful for doing it but now?? I just feel like it's 'ok' and not as 'new' or 'interesting' as once before. Now, I don't feel this with every NSFW pic I made, but with most. THAT BEING SAID---this could easily be ENTIRELY MY fault as I just (and really do) need to get better at drawing FIGURES in perspective and in interesting angles. This is something i greatly struggle with and want to get better at. However, as of now....I'm a bit bored with my NSFW art. It doesn't help that more and more sites these days are cutting down HEAVILY on NSFW work for the sake of their advertisers. Even pixiv forces you to censor any penetration and such for every picture and DA 'claims' it allows NSFW but every time you try it just takes it down (no matter how censored).
NSFW art just doesn't seem worth it you know? At least for me. Fewer and fewer people get to SEE my NSFW work because of these new guidelines. Plus, the extra cost that I've always put on NSFW art barely covers it, if at all.
My point is this......it is possible (just possible) that I may stop allowing NSFW commission work in the future.
To clarify, I'll allow NSFW art for REGULAR customers (those i trust anyway) and maybe even for newbies if your idea intrigues me.
DON'T BE AFRAID as this decision towards NSFW art isn't happening now or even in the next few months, but I wanted to give you all a heads up that I am thinking about it.
Already I am limiting the amount of NSFW commissions I do per month as again I get so little exposure when making that sort of art. Also, I do tend to prefer SFW art anyway.
Still, I will always appreciate the journey that NSFW art has lead me on. It's made me a better artist and person overall! I will likely draw it forever BUT in my OWN way, not through another's. Perhaps once I've understood anatomy/dynamic perspective i'll come back to it. Find my 'muse' again so-to-speak. But for now, just wanted to let you all know how I'm feeling.
Let me know tho if you have any tips or tricks for perspective/dynamic angles for anatomy. Let me know also if you have any thoughts or feelings regarding what I've said here! I'd love to hear you guys out, talk it through, etc. Thank you all though for being with me on this journey. I will forever be grateful to this site and those who have stuck by me <333 seriously, I appreciate the love!

We're getting close to 4,000 followers here on FA! That's amazing!!

So as a thank you, once we reach that 4,000 mark (assuming it's not during a sale) I will hold a raffle!
1st Prize: a full body COLORED image of ONE character (free simple pattern background only-no objects/weapons)
2nd Prize: a fully INKED waist-up image of ONE character WITH a background of your choice
3rd Prize: a full body SKETCH of ONE character, up to two weapons included (free simple pattern background)
The way it'll work, as it will be explained again once we start, is that you guys comment saying you want to participate in the raffle and mention the character you want drawn (whether it be a canon character from a show or your OC/sona--anything goes!). Again, the raffle has NOT started but it will once we reach 4,000 follows!!! The sooner the better as I just don't have time to start a raffle during a sale.

If another customer has questions or concerns then there are tons of sites (and even my commission email) where THEY can contact me. I do not answer to their 'proxies.' Asking about someone else's info, even if you claim to be their friend, is just unethical and weird?? Please don't do it guys. Just have THEM talk to ME, assuming they have any questions or concerns that is.
Regardless, I am still so grateful to all of you who have and continue to stick around! It really means so much! As always, let me know if you have any questions. Have a great day and please take care of yourselves!

For many years I never thought I'd EVER be able to draw transformers, which deeply upset me since Beast Wars is like....my #1 obsession. But now I'm glad to say that I've gotten over this hurdle and am even working on transformers pics from the MOVIES as well (oh....all that detail...whyyyy).
It was such a fun sale, might do it again since I like to have at least one sale where I ''''relax'''' (as much as I can when working lol) by drawing something I love more than anything. Tho I do miss the DBZ sale since I adore that series almost as much as Beast Wars. Ah well, time will tell what I do next year....Don't get me wrong tho, I LOVE and ADORE mass effect but, when you're getting ready to draw the 123,304,903th turian, it can get a tad old.

Really, the only thing that 'doesn't' count would be if you wanted a sketch commission. All other types of commissions DO count for the sale. HOWEVER---your image must have SOMETHING, even the smallest thing to do with ANY of the transformers series.
This sale applies to all characaters/ocs/sonas/etc. who have to do with Tranformers (ie: robot ocs etc.). As well as characters that DON'T have anything to do with TF but are either wearing/interacting with TF-related material/characters! :D
Have a Decepticon OC? Perfect! Got a sona you'd like to see smooching Optimus? Great!! Want your OC getting fucked by a Starscream while Megatron watches? Let's do this.

I'm even offering to design your D&D OC for an added fee of $10.000--$40.00 USD----> IF you need it. Normally, I do not design characters/objects/weapons, but I am making an exception for the D&D sale. So if you have a character that doesn't have a DIRECT image of what they look like (whether it's from a sketch, fanart, or video game character creation), I can still work with it--but again for an added fee.
Those of you who DO have a direct image of your OC won't have to worry about said fee.

I was racking my brain forEVER on when to do the transformers sale. Sadly the premiere of the 80s TF movie was in August and most premiere's of TF cartoons (ie: G1, Beast Wars, Animated, etc.) started in September. Since my annual Mass Effect sale begins in early November of every year (on N7 day), I just CAN'T have ANOTHER sale so close to it :/ I always need at least a month and a half or two months of rest between sales.
Plus, I wanted to begin the TF sale on a day that was at least 'somewhat' relevant to the transformers series. THEN----just recently a trailer for the second half of season1 of Earthspark aired! So I'm making the sale begin on the very same day :D
To reiterate though: sketch commissions are NOT affected by these sales (I just can't make those any cheaper lol) but ALL other commission types are.
