In light of [gesturing vaguely at the dumpster fires at Twitter and DeviantArt] all that, I'm trying to put some concerted effort in shoring up my presence in other places around the web. I've been on here for ages, but I've never dedicated a ton of time to actually *being* here, and I'd like to change that.

Despite everything, I've actually been drawing more lately than I ever have since officially declaring myself a furry back in 2017 (I was on here a lot longer than that as "furry adjacent," but I didn't actually make a fursona until then). For it's flaws, FurAffinity seems like it's at least stable enough to use as a decent gallery site for everything I've been doing lately, and for that, I appreciate it. Logged on here for the first time in a while to update a few things. I'm not super active on here, but I have been itching for a place to use as a halfway decent gallery for my drawings, so this will do.

So Hello, old friends who have been around for a while. You'll be pleased to hear that the powers that be have allowed me to live another day, and I continue to make that everyone's problem. Hey all,

I haven't been much active on here lately, and that's mostly because the stuff I've been working on lately hasn't really been furry in any way, shape, or form, so I was hesitant to post it here. I'm coming to realize though that this probably doesn't matter much, and if it does, we can just brush that off, can't we? Above all else, I need content for this page, so I've finally come to a decision.

From here on out, I'll be making this profile a sort of "best of" page. I'll be submitting all of the stuff I think is the best example of my work, regardless of whether or not it's anthro/furry or whatever. I'm not a furry artist, so why should I have a gallery that is only furry art? Right? Right.

So yeah. Brace yourselves: a wave of my shitty artwork is coming. We're talking cartoons, character concepts, and most of all, writing, and it's all coming your way! Be excited! I know I am! I'm excited to open this account up a little more and expose some of my work to a new audience. :)

Anyone here a reader?

In addition to drawing poorly, I also like to pretend to be a writer. XD While it's not furry in any sense, I'm working on a story some of the more horror-oriented of you might enjoy. It's the story that this lovely scene http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8024165/ is lifted from. As a point of reference, anyone who enjoys Hellboy or Fringe or the X-files might enjoy it, as I've been told it's sort of similar in ways.

I'm currently re-writing the first few chapters, and when I get them finished, I might post them on here if anyone is interested. Of course, as is with all of my work, it can be found on deviantART as well as here, though regardless of whether or not I do decide to put it here, it will definitely end up on dA.

I havne't really been getting much feedback here lately though anyhow, so maybe I'll just post the first chapter if I don't get any opinions here and we can see where we go from there?

I've got a few people watching now, so that's a start, right? I'll post up my initial prices here and see how they're received and adjust accordingly. Here goes:

CONDITIONS:
-I will draw anything, for anyone, so long as a transaction is involved.
-I have absolutely zero qualms with blood and gore and horror stuff.
-I need money fast, so PayPal is preferred, though in a pinch, I will definitely accept cold-hard-cash by mail. Who am I to turn down money?
-While I feel the prices below are fair, as I deserve to be compensated for the time and effort I put into your piece to make it as perfect as possible, I am open to negotiation. Depending on the difficulty of your idea, and how much you are willing or able to spend, You may end up getting me to drop the price by a little bit. Let's do some old-time haggling!

These are on a first-come-first-serve basis, and he who buys first gets put on my to-do list first. As of right now, I have no cap on my work list, but as I get more commissions, I'll be able to gauge how many commissions I'll be able to take at a time.

So, I've been here for a bit now. It's the middle of summer break for me, and I've completely lost track of what day it is, so I don't know how long it's been exactly, but I think it's safe to say it's been a week or two, right?

Anyways, I've been here for a bit now, I've posted up some of my art, and I've picked up a few watchers already, which is exciting. :3 I've got a couple new pieces cooking right now and I should have those ready to post shortly. One of them is almost done and is kinda meh, and the other one's barely started, but it's gonna be killer.

So, within my first few posts, I saw a few people were already signing on for the long haul here at SquareZer0's Brainbarf Company. I'd like to take this opportunity to say thank you to each and every one of you guys who've decided to stick around and see what else I put out. It's exciting to already have this many people interested in my work. I sincerely hope I hope i don't disappoint.

In addition to thanking you guys, I'd like to open the floor to any questions, comments of concerns any of you might have. I'm hoping that a couple of you guys might be chatty 'cause I love getting to know fellow artists. I'm a nerd in that I tend to geek out about art stuff to people at random, so don't be alarmed if you find I'm prone to ranting...

Allow me to introduce myself; I am Zero, procrastination and slacking extraordinaire! I'm an amateur illustrator based out of the Twin Cities in Minnesota. I like long walks on the beach and raspberry jam. In addition to drawing, I'm also a writer and photographer, and while i wouldn't call myself a professional in those fields, I like to think of myself as slightly more developed in them.
