Tail Making and Stuff
Posted 14 years agoHaven't posted a thing in a while, so here's an update. My fursona is drawn. Unfortunately, Miss Dark bunny and I have no access to a scanner. But, online or no, it's finished.
Also been making a tail. This sounds like the stupidest method ever, but it's actually working rather nicely... I'm latch hooking bits if yarn onto a tube I crocheted, and brushing and fluffing it until it resembles fur. To my amazement, thus far it actually does resemble fur. It's cheap yarn, though, so the fur is like the hair on those little troll toys.
On second tight, this could be a benefit. How many tails can you style the hair on, eh?
The tail's black and a little over a foot long. Nothing I could ever imagine myself with, but I'll probably wear it anyway.
In other news, I'm super busy with schoolwork. Got accepted into an after school art program and band is taking up a chunk of time. Basically, what I'm saying is that you probably won't hear from me for another long while. Until I finish making that tail, that is.

What can I say? I've finally found THE social network for me. Don't ask me why I suffered through Facebook for so long before I made it. I can self-promote and share my political activist moments while finding out, not only news, but a variety of opinions on that news, plus what various groups intend to do about said news. I feel so... Modern. And must share the moderness with all. Follow meh? Squashixus
Now back to what I was doing.

Random thoughts : Do I deserve this?
Posted 14 years ago I would say this is just another post consisting of me rambling on about random stuff, but I've only been on here a couple days, so I guess that's not very accurate. To the topic I just typed in the subject box!
I discovered furry over the Summer. I come back to school and find out my best friend is furry. I create this account, where I can really express myself. I quit Facebook, and never felt so relieved. Now other people are suddenly friendly towards me. Not just furries, normal people. I'm still a nerdy weirdo, but I'm okay with it. It's part of my personality, not a painful insult. Just today, I found out I may become saxophone section leader before the year is over. And even with my activities outside of school, I'm taking the most advanced classes offered and doing well in them. Where is this luck coming from? I'm NOT making this journal to brag, I'm making it to show my genuine confusion. I've never felt this confident. Not that you care... I just thought I'd get my awesome feelings out there. I'm hopefully getting a profile picture onto here by the weekend. I'm drawing it myself, just because I'm that kind of person. Please oh please send me messages and stuff while I'm in a good mood and have time to respond! I realize nobody is going watch me because I have no art on here yet (mainly due to lack of a scanner) but I literally only know one person as of now. Talk to me? :3
