$10 full colored commissions for November! Need your help!
Posted 8 years ago So I am desperately in need of a larger desk at the moment as I am returning to school and trying to work on art. I have found my ancient, very small, hand me down desk is not big enough for me to do much at and is highly uncomfortable to sit at for long periods of time because of it's confined sitting area (I can't even pull my chair into it so I am constantly pumping my knees on the sides). Any desk I generally found worth getting for my current needs is about $180. (And if you can find me a cheaper but well sized option I am open!!!)
Keeping in mind as an artist I require more space as I use dual monitors, your regular set up of keyboard and mouse, speakers, as well as a fairly sized drawing tablet. I have a printer shoved in the only cubby and a scanner put away right now because there is no room for it either. And at the moment I have no room to study at my desk, so I've been sitting on the floor at my tiny coffee table trying to do what work I can. (ouch btw) Waaaah!
So, I am looking to fill some of my current free time with work and thought for the month of November I would offer $10 portrait commissions! Any personal OC's, fanarts, furries, family, musicians, pets even!!! You name it, I will draw it! My usual price for a fully detailed anything is about $30+ more depending on the picture if you are familiar with my commission prices. And I will be using paypal for all transactions, thank you for understanding.

So first off, I have been absolutely slammed lately! Though it was all good things. I recently switched jobs, I moved to a new area, and then I got engaged <3, among many other things! I was too busy to do anything than some traditional art. But that's all about to change :)

As many of my followers know I am about to undergo a move across the states, but after I am committing all my time to artwork, not just for me but for my commissions. I thought a good way to start this off would be to try this out and see how everyone likes it. Of course the price you pay will vary the quality of work and detail I put into each piece.
I will be filling 5 slots, I will contact you when I will be starting your individual commission. These can be specific pieces or if you want I can surprise you! Comment below if you would like a reserved spot

~ $10 ~ Large long red cat tail - has fabric at top with large pin for security.
~ $10 ~ I have a pair of short neon pink fur leggings (worn once)
~ $5 ~ Pair of Red and black knee high fur leggings (these are in a used but good condition)

I also have these large fox tails. These are real fur, pre-made with a keychain attached.

Halloween Art Contest $100+ in prizes
Posted 13 years agoI have been watching the ever living hell out of Monster High and Halloween Monster Movies....so the theme is...!!!
Draw a monster for Halloween!
You can choose anything from sexy, scary, funny, gory, anything you can think of! (If you have characters that are already some form of monster this is acceptable as well!) There is also no limit to number of monsters in one submitted piece, go wild! Try and keep a Halloween theme present in your piece!
You can submit as many drawings as you want, but each must be a completed piece. No one person may win more than one prize, but you can at least raise your chances by submitting more art!
At the end of the contest I will review every piece and find the most creative ones to win! The more creative the higher chance of winning you have!

Posted 13 years agoJust as a minor update, we did make it safely up to Kentucky! We had only a few minor problems when we first got here but we figured it all out pretty quick :) So I am happy to say we got here safe and decently smoothly.
We are still unpacking, though I have completed the master bedroom, living room, and kitchen. We still have two full other rooms to go hahaha.
I haven't really had a chance to sit down and draw till today though, I finished outlining a pic I sketched out a while back, and am starting on my commissions again. I want to thank everyone for being so patient with this big move. I should have all of your commissions and requests completed fast though as soon as things get back to a semi-normal life. No more unpacking and my husband starts back work with the Army as usual come the 7th. So decently around that time.
I hope everyone had a great few holidays for those of you who do celebrate. We spent Yule with Josh's family, then spent New Years, which is also our anniversary of two years together here in our new home. I even got to make a home cooked meal from scratch for us!
Promise to have more art soon!
We are still unpacking, though I have completed the master bedroom, living room, and kitchen. We still have two full other rooms to go hahaha.

Just throwing out a well needed update. I will be updating more soon, my hubby is back home from the Army, and I finally finished my college courses, and we also finished packing the POD and it has now been shipped to Kentucky to wait in storage till our arrival.
After the move I will be finishing the last of my commissions and pieces I have been working on now. I would scan them in but my scanner and tablet are packed up already lol. I will also be opening up my online store ^.^ It will be nice finally being able to start all my crafts again, I feel like I am having artistic withdrawals @.@
We will be leaving bright and early on the 28th, and arriving there around 7-9pm the same day. Were meeting up with our renter for the house, getting the keys and then we are going to drive around town and look at whats around for a bit. Then the next day our POD arrives at the new house and we can start unpacking!!! I can't wait to start decorating the new house, plus I will still have till the 7th till Josh has to head to the base, but it'll be different than when he was in basic cause it will be like a normal job now, he gets to come home after work everyday :)

New Web Store Ideas, Need feedback please ;)

1. My artwork and commission pieces
2. Polymer clay sculptures and dolls (you can request sculptures and dolls as well)
3. Chainmail items and jewelry
4. Satin collars with clasps and large pendants
5. Hand crafted and decorated resin based cat ears with bands like you see at conventions (youd also be allowed to choose from predecorated ears or request your own color and addons such as fur/color/ribbons etc).
Would that interest anyone? I want some feedback before I throw myself into such a large project :)
Ive done something similar before where I sold furry legwarmers, tails, and full fur outfits like skirts and bra tops, which I might also start selling again as well since I still do it for close friends, but I had not run a store before and I was bit too young at the time to handle such a large project. Having worked in sales and management positions I wanted to give this a go again :)
A lot of the pendants and such I will be using are also made from scratch by other artists, as I believe in helping the artist and crafty community out by buying from original creators instead of real stores, cat ear resin bases will be provided by the lovely
ladychecke and pendants used in the jewelry making are provided by a local jewelry maker here in Dallas, TX. :)

Posted 14 years agoSo my wacom tablet of 8 years died yesterday D: I was so sad, mainly cause I had art that needed editing and I was starting to color a commission piece that's digital heh. And I was really worried I wouldn't have access to one for a while since were about to make a major move and don't have any extra cash to really spare. My father had been bugging me for months now about what I wanted for Yule and I kept telling him nothing, cause I didn't "need" anything nor did I want extra stuff to have to pack. So when it died I told him about it and he was happy to get me on as an early gift. Thanks pop! ^.^ :hug:
So today was like an early yule for me. I got my new Wacom Bamboo Tablet, then my whole new set of Copic markers, and my wolf hoodie+mittens were waiting for me at the door when I got home! It even came with some new software I had been wanting to learn how to draw in! So hopefully these will help me improve on my digital art skills and I can get some better quality pieces out to you guys!

I honestly wanted to sit down and make a list of things I am so thankful for, as this is the first time in my life, in a very long time, that I have so much to truly be thankful for.
My husband : My hero, my best friend, my confidant, my solider, my love. You bring me all the joy in the world. You make everything right. You make me laugh and smile more than anyone or anything ever has. I love you. Forever.
Josh's family : I have never had such a close and loving group of positive and close-knit people in my life. You truly are all the family I never had.
My friends : You all have been there for me through the best and the worst. You all bring so many different and amazing things into my life, and I appreciate you all so much for sharing yourselves with me.
Those who have hurt me/ Bad situations I have been in : Without those horrible people in my life, those who are still here, and have been, I am thankful I have and am still surviving your shit. The hell you each put me through. I am a strong woman, and I am thankful to not only be alive, but to have a life worth living. Without bad people and bad experiences we can not grow. So thank you, I am strong because I over came your trials you put me through.
Love : I am so thankful for my ability to not only have love to give endlessly, but to still be able to not only receive others love but still appreciate it. I have had my heart shattered and trampled on time and time again. The ability to still love and be loved after what I have been through, makes me very thankful.
Forgiveness : I am thankful for the chance to time and again not only forgive people, as this has been a struggle for me for years, but also the chance to have others forgive me for my own problems that could have caused them pain. It is said we forgive those we still want in our life. So forgiveness to me isn't just letting go, it's moving forward with someone. If there is still someone I am willing to forgive, and who is willing to forgive me, then it means I still have someone around who wants me in their life, and who I want in mine. And that is love :heart:
And I am so grateful to be involved with such great people on fa :hug: You guys are always so sweet, and help me grow all the time. Oh shit lol

Long Time
Posted 14 years agoSorry it has been so long, I was on a art block for a while then got caught up with commissions and didn't get a lot of other stuff completed until recently. But I am back now :D sorry for the delay ^^;
As for updates, I have been working for a magazine out of the UK called Frankie's Closet, that is for The Rocky Horror Picture Show :D I am the official artist of the magazine now. So every other month the magazine goes out I have to create 3-4 pieces for it, which has taken up a lot of my time.
I am also moving soon, to Kentucky! My husband, who is a soldier in the U.S Army has gotten his orders for us to move there. We just bought our first home recently, and will be moving there official on December, 29th. So that has also been taking up my time, as I alone have had to do all the packing, planning for the moving company and finding us our home, based off of army regulations for housing off base (which was a pain in the ass).
College has also been a pain and taking up my time, but the semester is almost over then almost all my time will be freed up to work on more artwork :D So after December expect loads of updates from me.
On a brighter note, I am currently taking 5$ commissions as a holiday special. Usually my prices range based on many things making them anywhere from $10-$25. So this is a big thing :D I am doing this for December, but am taking orders now. I only will be taking 5 and have one slot already filled up. So if you have a commission from me you would like to see don't hesitate to ask. The commission details are as follows : Full pieces, full detail, full color with markers only. Anything you want for $5!!!! :3

Tomorrow is mothers day! Have you done something special for your birth giver? :P I got my momolas big bags of chocolate, cause their crazy for coacoa. lol
On another note. I am going to shave my head. Now, not all of it. But, I am trying to decide if I want a mohawk, which would mostly consist of me shaving the sides, but keeping my hair long, bangs a decent length, and then having side hair just next to my ears. Orrrrr I am going to get an undercut...like marceline in adventure time for those of you who have no idea what an undercut is, thats what it is lol
I will be getting it cut either or way before my husband leaves for the military on the 23rd. So we shall see what I end up doing ^.^

Posted 14 years agoMy husband and I don't personally celebrate Easter, though our families do, so we will be helping with the easter egg hunt that our family is throwing tomorrow. On a side note, today me and the hubby went out to Scarbi with friends and had a blast! I am a total nerd for Scarborough Faire, I have to dress up, I have to take a bajillion pics, and try to not blow all my money there :3
This year the weather was so freaking windy >.< but I am smart to texas weathers game, and not only wore shorts beneath my bustled foot-length dress but I also brought a chinese parasol to hide from the blown up dust and sun :D It was epic win all around. I got Some Henna done, and me and the hubby got some pagan pendants together. I got a number of other things, but I dont wanna bore you all :P
Either way, it was a blast, and I was able to come home and finish some art, and upload pics just before the thunderstorm rolled in just now!
