So, today is my hatchday and I'm now 25 years old! ^..^

I got back from Berlin yesterday, and I've got to say that the time I spent at Eurofurence was seriously the best time I've had in my life! It was amazing! There were furries everywhere, over 2000 in total!

I tried to document my trip and the convention with photographs (unfortunately, I'm a terrible photographer), and I've made a picture album which you can view over at imgur.

Normally I can't handle being with a large number of people, I usually end up locking myself in the bathroom until whatever social event I've been forced to attend ends. I was worried that something similar would happen at Eurofurence, but I was actually completely comfortable and at ease this time, which was a great relief! :D

Unfortunately I got really sick during the last three days (so much so that I'm taking antibiotics now). I miss the con, though. If I hadn't become sick, I would have wished that Eurofurence would keep going forever. ^.=.^

I had to check out of the hotel at 12 o'clock, but my plane wouldn't leave until 5:00 pm, so it seemed as if I would have nothing to do for a very long time.
Fortunately, I met  TomTheDragon87 and  Tiberias at the airport and we hung out together. We were also briefly joined by a group of Italian furs (I can't remember any of their names though, but if any of you find this journal, comment and I'll watch you).

Eurofurence was so great and so much fun! I hope I can manage to come next year, as well! :D

I'm finally going to EF tomorrow! I'm so excited (and nervous)! XD

My cousin has been doing a really thorough study of our family history for years and I've recently learned of her findings.

From what I've learned, one of my earliest recognized direct ancestors is Gorm the Old, the first historically recognized King of Denmark. Now beyond Gorm we begin to go into legendary/mythical territory.
Gorm's father was Harthacnut I, and according to the viking sagas he was the son of Sigurd Snake-in-the-Eye, who in turn was the son of Ragnar Lodbrok (to those who watch the series "Vikings", yes that Ragnar Lodbrok).
It has been said that Ragnar Lodbrok claimed to be a direct descendant of the god Odin. In that case, since I'm a direct descendant of Ragnar Lodbrok (according to the sagas) that would also make me a direct descendant of Odin.

I'm going to Eurofurence this year for the first time. :D I'm both nervous and excited since I've never actually ever been to a convention before, nor have I ever traveled abroad on my own. :S

Does anyone have any useful advice for going to EF or for traveling in general? Also, are any of you going to Eurofurence this year? :3

Christmas is a time of year when my depression seems to be at its worst. I always spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with my family, but even though the atmosphere is generally merry, my feelings of depression and loneliness are so severe that I'm constantly on the verge of tears.
I want to love this holiday, but it just serves to remind me of how alone I really am, even within my own family.

*sigh*

Even though I am unable to have it, I do wish all of you a merry Christmas.

I love sergals and, as most of you have probably noticed, I love the Pathfinder rpg system.
Imagine my surprise when I found this. Basically it's a sergal racial guide for Pathfinder that has been officially endorsed by  mick39 and  kiki-uma. How cool isn't that? :D

I happen to have a few games in my Steam inventory, and since it's Christmastime, I thought that I could give them away. :3

So here's what we're going to do: I'm going to list the games I have available and all you have to do is write a comment, wherein you ask for the games you want (you may choose more than one) and give a reason for why you think you should get the games you ask for. Then, on Christmas day, I will transfer the games to the people of my choosing (it should go without saying, that those who participate need to have a Steam-account).

The Games:
* Half-Life 2 (this one has been in my inventory for a loooooong time, and it will probably stay there considering that most have already played it)
* Achron (a strategy game revolving around time travel)
* Spec Ops: The Line (this is one of the greatest games I have ever played, because it offers a lot of introspection into what kind of person you are if you're willing reflect upon its story and your own actions)
* XCOM: Enemy Unknown, including the DLCs Elite Soldier Pack and Slingshot.
* Saints Row IV (IMO, this is the most hilarious game of 2013).

I'm rather surprised, since the world-wide release date was stated to be the 12th of October. I honestly didn't expect to receive it until Monday.
