We are not dead! We sincerely apologize for our lack of activity for the past year.

What are we doing now? We are currently negotiating a rebranding of an existing and established furry-themed Smash Discord server. This would turn it into a so-called "official" Super Smash Bros. Discord for furries.

We are also looking to grow up our management team to better serve you and avoid long periods of inactivity...!

We are trailing a bit behind Undertale. Time to bring it back, fellow Smashers!

The Big House #5, the largest Super Smash Bros. tournament yet, is about to reach its final stretch!

At 5pm Eastern time (that's in 2 minutes!), VGBootCamp will stream the Top 8 for Super Smash Bros. Wii U. Will ZeRo, be able to keep his "#1 in Smash 4" title despite his shocking loss to Seagull Joe earlier?

At 8pm Eastern time, VGBootCamp will stream the Top 8 for Super Smash Bros. Melee. Armada, Mew2king, Mango, Hungrybox will compete in the Winners' side of the bracket, while SFAT, Westballz, Shroomed and Abate (!) will compete in the Losers' side. A Luigi in Top 8? Who saw it coming?

Nintendo has issued a short statement announcing that president Satoru Iwata has passed away at the age of 55.

His contributions to the Super Smash Bros. franchise must never be forgotten. He also brought us Pokémon, Kirby and Earthbound. From everyone here at SSBFurs, we extend our deepest sympathies to Mr. Iwata's family and friends.

On a more positive note: EVO 2015, the largest Super Smash Bros. tournament (Wii U & Melee), will be held in a week. Any Super Smash Bros. player cannot afford to miss watching such a large and important event. We also hope this event will pay tribute to Mr. Iwata. A schedule for the stream is available here.

Hello Smashers,


I am extremely delighted to announce that Super Smash Bros. Melee is coming back for a third year at Evolution 2015, the largest fighting game tournament in the world! Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will also make it's first grand debut! You guys have no idea how happy I am. I never expected both games to be part of the lineup. It is a great honor and the participants are going to deliver an amazing show! I'll be watching all the streams. x)

Speaking of tournaments, SSBFurs is proud to feature  pidgey14 for his participation at BEAST V, the largest Super Smash Bros. Melee tournament in Europe. It was held in Gothenburg, Sweden. Did anybody participate to BEAST V and Paragon 2015? We'd love to know! Does anybody plan to participate to Apex 2015? Do tell us!

Greetings Smashers!


First and foremost, we would like to sincerely apology for the lack of updates this group has been receiving. This situation is unacceptable considering the release of two major Super Smash Bros. games happened during the past months.

To mark the end of our "hiatus", we would like to welcome a new administrator to this group.  zeroblinddragon is a respected Super Smash Bros. player from Quebec City, Canada. He attends meetups regularly and participated in several large tournaments in the area. He is a dedicated Peach main and tries his very best to evolve her metagame in Melee, Project M and Smash 4.

We will create several journals shortly for you, fellow Smasher, to exchange friend codes and contribute to this group via drawings and videos.
