Another year has come and is almost gone. A time to look back and see what you have learned from your journey.

This year has tought me I am always under scrutiny and subject to the evaluation of others even if I have no control over the means by which I am judged. Life is hell and then you wake up tomorrow morning. Heartbreak is when things do not break even. It is not how quickly you heal but well you mend. Truth is a double-edged sword. Long lost friends can become full friends again.

Rain and summer tires don't mix.

I had my first accident since getting my bike almost a year ago. First of I am well.
I had my blinker on turning left and started turning. I backed off on the throttle but had not touched the break when I lost grip on the rear tire. Next I knew I was sliding across the road right into oncoming traffic.
As soon as I stopped sliding I knew I was in the wrong lane so I lifted the bike off me and got it back on two wheels then walked it off the road. By this time someone had run over to me asking if I was okay, or needed an ambulance. So I open the visor on my helmet, give my left arm a few test moves, nothing is broken so I just nod, yes. Give a look over the bike and all seems well.
He was really glad I was okay. Thanks buddy, I am good!
On the way home I notice the mirror is bent so I bend it back into place. Other then a few scrapes and a bent break handle the bike is good. I have a bad case of road rash on my leg, scraped it pretty good. Lost a chunk of skin from my elbow and jarred it pretty good, landing on your funny bone is not so funny.
Hurts more the day after, but I'm on the mend.

A step slowly forward, I am still around. slowly I work, not much time off avaiable.
Ah well.. at least I am still here.

Yes it's that time again. I grow one year older, but do I get any wiser... that I don't know.

I still haven't heard anything so I guess the screen shots will go unnoticed for now.

On with the show.

I have requested some information from an admin. I want to get this sorted out with the maximum of tact and respect. Insults will not be tolerated.

At one point during the day I hear the sounds of sirens. Right out my back window I see flashing lights and even a barricade. written on the side of a large truck I can read "COMMAN" on the side of the Police mobile command station (the rest of the word was hidden behind a building).
Little did I know that a construction crew thought it would be fun to hit an underground gas pipe. They had to rip up the street, evacuated the area right around the leak, The police set up roadblocks for two blocks in each direction. I was within that area but outside the area where the homes that were evacuated.

Needless to say it was an interesting afternoon.

Well, after an internet nightmare things seem to be settleing in. My internet is still spotty rougher in peak times and after a dead graphics card the new one seems to be intigrating well.
For now.

I am missing my friends, many I have not seen in a long while.

I hope the season was good to everyone. Still in one piece, thankfully. The snow is getting worse. I now have about a foot over everything. Would have had more but several thaws have already cleared some. It is so cold the wind has teeth.

Hopefully this new year will bring new inspiration.

This week has been tough. They say bad things happen in threes, and that has been true for me. I wish I could say at least nobody died, but I cannot. While I will not post specifics for the familes in involved, but I have been doing all I can to stay strong.

An aunt was in an automobile accident
A sister fell down a cliff and broke her back
and An uncle passed away.

That which does not kill only makes one stronger It should be, that which does not kill after repeated attempts makes you bitter and depressed.

Much anguish has be spent, time to find a new currency. I have survived by the roots of my claws and with little respite I soldier on. So little time to heal I take my nexts steps for to stand still, alone, is the first step towards death.

I am not ready to give up, should I fall who will catch me...

Time contuies to pass and I make my log. I have a new sketch to upload. It's my first that really could stand up against most of what other artists make. I just have to make time for drawing.

It's far from finished and in the most raw form it can be so it's going in the scraps.

My heart has bled enough and it is time to heal.

After one of the worst times I have ever had for my days off from work. Such heart ache, like hands around your chest crushing the life from your body. The bottom of your stomach drops out and a river flows.

How much pain can one heart take?

This is not a new story, pain comes cheep. expecally in the hands of someone cruel. who only has you around to beat on because they don't like you... but it is the only way to make amends.

And still I cry...

I have made a few apperances aoround SL. looking for things to capture or draw. It is a shame that I am unable to use my 'real' last name. Ah well. I am easy enough to find.

I am just about done with my first round of adult SL pictures. Heh, they were taken in a place that does not even exist anymore.

I have to come up with some ways to make L$, Mayhap I advertise.. heh, I would not want to lower my self to that level, I am a mantrin of some character.

Well, guess what. I am on SL.. I tried it before but never got anywhere with it.

Now that I have some friends there, it is a little better. I am a fledgling builder, but I have also started taking pictures... yeah yeah.,, they follow what I draw. I have some to some Dragon on Dragon, Dragon on vixen, Wolf on Dragon... I have been able to set up some nice shots. I have not been able to see if I can get my legs into SL. If you see a big, green dragon flying over head it just might be me.

Once I get to clean up the pictures I will post the ones I like most. I also have a few other projects for a hot little kitten I met.

Anyway that is it from me.

That's how I feel some days... but that's another issue.

Well, what can I say. It has been forever but I am still alive.

I am desperatly trying to get drawing again, I have managed to get three.. three small pieces in two years. Good grief, has it been that long?

Now I just have to get my scanner working again, thank you vista and incompatable drivers... yeesh.

This one picture is eating at me, it really wants out but nothing has been to my satisfaction so far, I have got something close...

What a cluttered mind hides, what a cluttered mind holds, creativity can be born anywhere.

Well, I am onward and upward at work. Going though more training which means I might actually have some time to draw and do other things.

If I can get this to work out I might just end up with some little 1 or 2 page comics of the funnier parts of work, Two days ago it was the hazards of ESD (ElectroStatic Discharge) and computer boards. One "unfortuate" made the comment that she wondered if body piercings were dangerous and for the most part they are not. Having a belly button piercing and a tongue piercing she admitted to then stated, "I won't say where the others are." Nice...

Today it was the internet process of "fingering" and much to the class's befuddlement there were no more servers to finger. Of course now we are on the subject of service and fingering the comment gets made "A few fingers is one thing but using all 5 fingers is something else entirely"
I think one girl in the class today enjoyed learning how to "finger" things.

So much good stuff... so little time.

Yeah I know it has been a long time, very long time since I posted anything here. Well, having a tree fall in your front yard can do that... It is the same one that came down last year and was then trimmed back by the city.

Ah well...

Work is the same old, same old. I know I cannot let working in tech support taint my views of technology and people for that matter but it is hard. All the stories I could tell... and I have been where I am for almost 2 years.
I used to say "a person is smart, but people are stupid" now I say, "Make something foolproof and the universe will make a better fool."

How does that quote go? "The world today is a race between the technology engineers making things more foolproof and the universe making better fools. Right now I think the universe is winning..."

It is something like that.

There was a big debate at work as to wheather or not, decorations should go up for Valentines day... someone raised the point that this is the one Holiday where the, haves can gloat over the have-nots. Those people lucky enough to have someone are somehow better then the person who is alone.

Personally, I have yet to make it through a Valentines Day without sheading a little blood, and more then a few tears. And this day, my heart is heavy this day...

"... take my hand, against this world alone I stand, Rescue me, from this world, from myself before I grow old... someone Rescue me..."

And the next, the 15th is my birthday...
Will it be as dark a days as the previous... we shall see.

Yes it's been ages since I last had anything worth while to upload. I'm still toying with the idea I had back in december, but i'm not relaxed enough to draw... How to relax a ryrjhii, that's a good question.

I'm still alive, by body hasn't killed me yet. God knows it's trying but I'm not an easy one to bring down.

Evening all,

I am still getting the bad gateways every now and then, but they are much better then before. At least something is getting through now.

So, this is my little slice of the internet, eh? It is a work in progress. Seems like there is something new every day here and seeing that favorites list grow does put a smile on my face... yeah, yeah I know, that is a rare thing to see a ryrjhii mantrin smile. Well it is hard with this hooked beak and having to duck through every doorway gets tiresome.

Ah well, that is enough ranting from this one.
