Checking back for a sec... and 700 PAGE VIEWS!
Posted 9 years agoHello everyone, man it's been a while since I've seen the site... not much has changed, but I do enjoy seeing my inbox filled with 100+ notifications.
Anywho, I've been tackling college in my first semester at UTD, its been punching hard, but I've been punching back pretty hard myself.
And I should also mention that I've finally reached 700 PAGE VIEWS! WWWWHHHOOOOOOOOO!!!
If I get to 1000, I'll see about posting something special. I'm also seeing about officially launching my youtube channel next summer, so be on the lookout.
Thank you all soooo much.
Sincerely
Blitzkrieg Wolf

Page overhaul
Posted 9 years agoHeyo everyone!
Just thought I'd lighten up my page a bit and make it a little more professional (or just plain cool) looking.
If you have any ideas, please send me a note and share!

Back to rocking!
Posted 10 years agoOK, so I managed to get my guitar and this new(ish) control board to work with my computer... now it's a matter of getting ideas for music to cover. Recently I've been interested in AC/DC, Van Halen, and some other classic hard rock bands, I'm not really sure what i would do first, so any suggestions from friends and music lovers would be very welcomed.
My guitar is also a bit of a hassle to deal with on fast riffs and solos (a thick C shaped neck makes it hard to do finger tapping on those pesky Van Halen riffs), never fear though, I'm getting a new one later this coming August so it should be a little easier to get those insane sections down.
As always, Keep on Truckin' (unless you don't own a truck, that is...)

600+ Pageviews!
Posted 10 years agoHeyo!
600+pageviews and still counting! Thank you to my friends and the rest of the fandom for noticing me!
I've been thinking about doing something... BIG for when I hit 1000. though some look at this is mediocre, I'm getting really excited. I know it's still a long ways off, but every one counts and it is a bit of a blessing for me, personally.
Again, Thanks for looking up on me and checking out my page.

Graduation
Posted 10 years agoSo I send this journal to confirm that I have Graduated from community college with my associates... and i am still in one piece.
I am now planning to talk with UTD about getting enrolled in the fall semester and going into the ATEC (Arts and Technology) program to lean about the tools and methods of making video games... with an interest in doing art as well.
I will say that over the summer I will hopefully put some effort into restoring my promises of doing art until college starts back up.
to all those who read this, thanks for stopping bye and checking me out over the last couple of years... or whenever... or... whatever. I'm just happy that the bisc stuff is over and the advanced and fun stuff is about to begin!

Post site-outage and NEW TABLET!!!!!!!!!!
Posted 11 years agoHello fellow furs, it's been a while since i did a simple, leazure journal... so i decided to do one with a couple of key notes in life.
First: the site outage.
OK, so the site's up and running again thanks to the boffins at the FA HQ working around the clock to fix the damage done by the attacks on the site (Thank you guys so much for being committed!). I've been a bit worried about the aftermath of the site and without out the knowledge of the cause and effect it would have, I'm very relieved to see that the site is just fine and looking great as ever with the community back in full swing, including me.
Second: Brand Spankin' NEW DRAWING TABLET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the more personal part of the journal, I recently have done allnighter work with my father on some projects revolving around a local college's media studio stage and backdrop. The work accumulated around $100 for me, with that, and some other work, I got enough to get myself a Wacom Intuos Pen and touch tablet (the medium one). I am soooo PUMPED to finally have it... just a few issues though. It "requires" Vista, windows 7, etc. to operate properly, so I tried to use it the laptop in my room. it loaded all the necessary software, but when i plugged in the tablet itself... it would not recognize it at all... PERIOD. another problem comes with me having to use it with the computer in the dining room that has XP on it, it works but crudely. The pen has no touch sense, the touch gestures are ineffective, and whenever you left the pen away from the pad, it "clicks" the screen and holds it until the pen touches it again (really annoying when your drawing and stuff). Other than those pesky drawbacks, It is AWESOME! and only $200 for anyone whos looking for a good drawing tool for their computer.
I would also like to point out that I will be trying to do more art in my spare time over the coming months (don't expect anything to be commission worthy).

Furry Fiesta 2015!
Posted 11 years agoOk, so it's a bit early to be mentioning the awesome Texas convention... but i got some sweet news.
I recently got in touch with a good friend
squibbles who said he might be able to get a room for him and a few friends, me included. so I've been getting money rounded up to get the registration fee underway and for food, A fur can't starve now can he? I can't 100% guarantee that this will go through all the way, but it is a moderately high chance that i will be attending next year, hop to see you guys there!

I'm Back... once again.
Posted 11 years agoSo, This is a quick recap on whats been going on the the last few months... and why i haven't been posting art, music, etc.
So this is hows it's been for the last few months, busy busy busy... But there is good news with all this stress. I have been Practicing on guitar for about a year now, and I have built up my confidence to try and make more Green Day covers. Also, i have some awesome art from my at class of my Fursona that i need to try and figure out how to get into the computer, as well as the other tons of art that has been sitting around for the last few years.
In General, this journal was supposed to be more about The feeling of Graduation than anything else, I can't believe that it's almost finally over for me, and all the other High schooler furrs in the fandom. I want to personally say congratulations to all the graduating seniors around the fandom and great job on their accomplishments, and thank you to all my friends.
P.S. Thank you to all the military furrs for their contribution to keeping America safe and secure, and for putting their lives on the line for all of us, Thank you very much. Have a blessed Memorial day.
My schoolwork has made a mile high tower. - March
My grade in Physics is horrifically low. - Also in March
My grades are averaging about 75- 80. - Near the end of March
I performed Green Day's singles "Welcome to Paradise" and "Basket Case" at the school talent show... and got third place. - Very end of March
My grades average 70-75. - Beginning of April
My grades are leveling out at around 76. - Middle of April
I Turn 19. - End of April
My social life in school sucks. - Beginning of May
My grades are getting a little higher. - Middle of may
Getting ready for finals. - Near the end of May
Studying for Economy class Final tomorrow. - Present

I'm Back!
Posted 11 years agoHello friends and members of Fur Affinity [dot] Net, It's been quite a while since I've even posted anything... Mostly due to school and homework, but also due to an issue with a familiar artist of the site (who shall remain nameless due to suggestive privacy of his/her's well being).
ANYWAYS, a few things I would like to square away:
400+ page views, W00T!!!!!!
I am trying to get up to speed with one of my classes (physics) during the remainder of the spring semester, without it... I don't graduate. This is one of the core reasons I have not been very active.
Commissions... that's right, I said Commissions. I dunno when, but some day I will have the guts to say "open commissions to every one!" and mean it. My idea for commissions ranges from drawings, to digital badges for anyone.
*NOTE* Nothing explicit will be allowed.
To all my furriest friends, I am sorry for not being on as often to talk and comment on your awesome arts, but i will start betting back on more often really soon!
My fursona will be seen A LOT more often, I have been looking to maybe get a WACOM tablet for my birthday and using GIMP to draw on my computer. I am also working on a screen print with a Logo for me and him. I plan on making T-shirts for friends to wear for fun, though it's still in the works, it'll be awesome when i finish making the screen and the first T-shirt!
And last, but not least!
I love you guys, every one that I have ever met, or I will meet. I love you all as friends, i have issues and problems... but I try my best to drop that all for the sake of having good times with the best of company... my friends.; Thank you for being here, it means a lot to me!

Fursona meme thingy (borrowed from Nobilis Lupus)
Posted 12 years agoWhat made you choose the species of your main fursona?
I have always thought that the most cliche species of the Fandom was the Wolf, but i started to think about how wolves act as social creatures. They are truly fascinating, they can hunt in packs, or work alone. This connects to me because i have always seen myself as a semi-loner in the world... I do have friends, i just prefer to work alone. (and also the mascot at my school is a wolf, it rocks!)
Is your fursona just like you, or how you want to be?
He is an exact copy of my own reality, just a bit more...extreme than me. I have always been an adrenaline junkie just looking for thrills, and that's also the same with Blitzkrieg Wolf.
Does your fursona have the same personality you have?
as stated in the last question, yes.
Does your fursona have the same dislikes and likes as you do?
All the same, though he is a pinch more... "radical" when it comes to his beliefs. Not to say that he is mean or spiteful towards other people, he's just more sensitive around certain individuals and ideas.
Does your fursona look like you at all?
I have thought about how a transformation process would look with me turning into Blitzkrieg Wolf, I think there are some small, yet, distinct features that relate between us.
Is your fursona the same gender as you, if not why?
Of course! I am proud of who and what I am, I don't think i need to try to create an opposite sex character for the "pleasure", "enjoyment", "beauty", or "Confidence" that others find in it.
Do you have more then one main fursona?
No. I would like to just have one, I find multiple Fursonas confusing and unnecessary.
Do you have a back story for your fursona, if so does it have anything to do with your own history?
This is a bit more complicated than a simple "Yes or No" question. I have had three main ideas for a back story for Blitzkrieg Wolf, The first of which deals with him being an Ex-Military Experiment that went rather wrong in the final stages of testing... and therefore was released as a citizen of the United States of America. The next (which is the more main back story that connects best to him) Is that He is just an Anthropomorphic Wolf that has always existed with little know about his past, where he came from, or how he is a Wolf with Human features and abilities... He is also a Mercenary that has had experience with Black-Water Security, and still works as a gun for hire to pay the bills. The final Back story is that he is a Inter-dimensional Traveling Wolf with one small problem... He cannot find a way back to his own reality, and therefore, wonders throughout the different medias that we watch as entertaining movies, Video Games, and TV shows (exp. MLP: FIM, Tailspin, Dust: An Elysian Tale, etc.) These stories have a connection with my fasination with Anthropomorphic characters in my younger days, around the age of 13-14.
Is your fursona mated, if so is it to your real life significant other?
Nah. He and I prefer to be alone until the end of our days.
If not are they looking for a mate, or are they a swinger so to speak?
No. That's something Me and Him find as... Uncool.
Is there something special about your fursona that you think sets them apart from others?
Besides being a tad bit on the Violent side, There are probably many things that set him apart... I personally can't name them all, but i can garrenty you won't find another Fursona like him.
Do you have much art of your main fursona/s?
Sadly, No. I have attempted to sketch him on several occasions... but I'm just not the best artist... yet.
Would you ever consider parting with your main fursona, if so why?
No. never, in fact.
If you suit, do you have a suit of your main fursona?
I prefer to just use a Wolf face Bandanna (if i could find one), and a grayish tale. The rest of the suit would just be me in some awesome Camo cargo's and a black T-shirt of some sort.
Have you ever roleplayed with your main fursona, or do you prefer not to?
I like to be called by my fursona's name, and I do have the same personality... so i guess i sorta do.
Do you consider your main fursona to be a part of you in any way?
He is inspired by the pain of my younger life, I was bullied by other kids because i was always curious and pure minded. I created Blitzkrieg as a symbol of my pain, and an inspiration to be stronger than i was back then. That's his connection with me, a character that just gets things done and never backs down... and also kicks the living crap out of bullies.

Update on life
Posted 12 years agoFirst of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR TO THE ENTIRE FANDOM!!!!!!!
And second comes with some rather unpromising news... I really doubt i will be able to join in with TFF this year, I don't have any money, support, or ride to the thing and i can't see any chance of me getting it anytime soon before the time of the convention. Unless someone was to miraculously give me $240 (plus another %100 for food), I don't see me going anywhere for now, if any one wants to donate... it's VERY appreciated!

Little update on life
Posted 12 years agoOK, I have some good news... and some rather gray-zone news.
I have been busy with school work over the last few weeks, with Thanksgiving the best grace i have received from the stress of Highschool. I have been looking at trying to go to Texas Furry Fiesta in February, so here's where that stands. I have been granted permission to get a job over the Christmas Break to earn some money for the trip... it's just a matter if i can find one or not, AND if I can get the right amount of money by the designated due date for getting a room at the hotel. The other thing is that i will probably need to carpool (my parents, more or less my mom, are NOT supporting this trip in anyway at all), Other than those details, all should be fairly well for go with going to TFF and all. If any one has any suggestions, please don't hesitate to share. =3

A bright idea!
Posted 12 years agoHeya guys, just checking back with another update on life.
this time I have some interesting news, I have been working diligently trying to make a game with blender and Unity 3D (video game engine and 3D modeling applications)... so for I have made a simple first person... run around and do nothing game... sorta. Now I have been planning on making an actual racing game featuring some of the crew from the AFM (Arlington Furmeet), I don't have a computer at my house that can run unity yet... but I should be able to in a month or so. I would like to have a discussion with anyone who is willing to be a character in the game, the game is also planned to feature the actual park from Arlington as the main setting for the races. I have too much school work right now to start research on it, but it will be an amazing project to go through with.
sincerely ~~Blitzkrieg Wolf~~

Another update on life
Posted 12 years agoSo, it's been a couple of weeks since I last made a journal entry... this is kinda due to the fact that school
is in full swing now (and I am getting hit with the whiplash that comes with it).
I have been SWAMPED with all sorts of work and have just been itching to get back online to look at art
and listen to nice music, I also discovered yesterday that, for ADHD people in general, 2 tablets of
Excedrin and a full cup of coffee will cause delusional madness if not given in staggered supplements. I
basically freaked out and "saw sound" and "heard colors"... but it wasn't all that too pleasant, it was more
along the lines of down right scary. Other than that indecent, I have made a full recovery and now I am
anxious to see what has gone on in the world of the Furry Fandom, apart from the drama of course.
I have been investing into a Marshall MS-2 Micro amp, a little belt amp with the power of a normal
practice amp built-in. This little sucker costs around $50, but I have payment coming from my simple
job of babysitting on the weekends. I hope to bring it to the AFM in October... if all goes well with my
ride and the plans. Other than that simple tidbit of information on my life, nothing REALLY exciting has
happened, just a college expo in town with plenty of choices for my future.
I do also want to note that i have been working on getting my desk cleaned off so i can get back to
drawing in my spare time, and that also I will be seeing about some more efficient and creative ways of
getting the sound of my guitar to go into a computer and on to the webs. One last thing, I have been
interested into investing into getting a starter pack of the card game "Tails & Tactics" (I am a Military
genius you know, I think it would be awesome to play), I am curios to know if there are any recorded or
planned tournaments at the cons that involve this game, please let me know.
Thanks a lot for reading this far, bye!
Sincerely ~~Blitzkrieg Wolf~~

bored... and CREEPYPASTAS!
Posted 12 years agoSo, I have been doing very little today since its labor day (hints the point of little labor), I've also gotten a hyper charge of creepypastas for the day, everything from the smiling dog to slender an, I'm just so fasinated with how simple thought and story telling can turn the internet into a box of horror. I would love to make my own little creepypasta myself... but I haven't been the greatest at writing stories. if you have any ideas, leave them in the comment section below!
ONE LAST THING.
I would like to take a moment to thank the members of the Furry community for showing me friendship and compassion and also proving to me that the Fandom is not as unruley as the media portrays it to be... thank you all.

Another lively update
Posted 12 years agoSo, school has started back up, my inspiration for movie scripts is booming, and i have no time for ANYTHING furry in my agendas... but i digress. I have been looking forward to going to the next AFM, but if
doesn't pick-up the phone over the next week, i can kiss my chances goodbye. I have also posted a side view drawing of a contraption that has been in my mind for months now, i hope every one will enjoy it (and for those of you who hate the ideals of war... get over it, it's one of my passions to design these things for a living).
ONE LAST THING! Can someone post on my page a good FREE drawing program for beginners (no tablet, so don't expect a beautiful masterpiece if i get to drawing on it).
