I always love to highlight or spotlight other artists in the fandom who are hard at work (hue hue) making cool pieces!

But I'm thinking of hiding/removing my favorites from my profile to save space on the page.

I'm wondering if I should keep my favorites shown if you guys frequent it a lot? Or, if you guys don't mind if I hide it!

The next week or two, I'm going to revamp my entire way of doing comms.

I'm going to look into making a carrd.co to host my new Terms of Service and Commission Price Sheet that I'm both going to revamp and update.

I'm also looking into Trello for organizing my future clientele.

Another big change I will be doing is I am going to be focusing more on sketches this upcoming commission round. I was told to lay off the complex ones (full detail and all) and focus on just sketches and small commissions.

I will try to focus on personal art that I've been really wanting to do and perhaps do some remakes of my old art, too!

I'm really thinking about ways to get a consistent income with my artwork. I'm thinking about Patreon! I know some NSFW artists are somehow successful there despite everything. I've tried it in the past and it was too stressful for me. But, thinking about it more, it would benefit me if I get feedback!

Here's the breakdown of what I have thought:

This was a very very heavy decision that I've been contemplating for over a year and a half. Almost two.

I found out yesterday from higher management... The reason I didn't get a call-back from Costco to get hired on permanently is because of favoritism of the others over me... 🙁

They hired the other three people I was working with. My performance wasn't the issue at all.

I have a chance to reapply in March and for the Summertime Seasonal position, but wow... That sucks...

I'm gonna keep fighting but... I'm a wreck right now...

I will be working on my commission queue. Once it's finished, I'll be reopening comms *smartly* this time with new policies in place so this doesn't happen ever again.

Just know that until that happens, I am completely broke. I will try to apply for unemployment and acquire an EBT card in the meantime.

As I type this, I'm in the process of trying to secure a part time position at Costco to have a steady back-up income so I don't have to rely on donations 🙏

I want to thank everyone for their patience and understanding, especially my commission clients who've been waiting very patiently to get their art pieces finished.

2025 has been the most challenging year in my life thus far and I just hope to keep the momentum going into 2026.

I got interviewed at Costco last week and I got hired on the spot! I submitted my two weeks notice the same day at H&M.

I tried working a couple more days at H&M but I was mentally and physically burnt out. My bosses got mad at me that I was dragging the team down and affected their store loyalty score my last few days.

I had a heart-to-heart with the store manager. In order to preserve the store goals for loyalty, I left the store yesterday and gave away the rest of my hours to the other employees that needed it.

H&M sadly was not a long-term sustainable job. I found out that even if I had the highest loyalty score, my hours are still not guaranteed. I tried way too hard at the register for no reason. I will say. I'm grateful that I got my retail training there and I'm fully prepared to tackle on Costco.

For now, I have two weeks until my first day there. I'll use this time to finally start working on my commission queue some more! I'll see how far I can get! I don't wanna let any of you all down 🙏

If it weren't for my health insurance going up ($28.50/mo --> $153/mo), I wouldn't be in this position in life.

I'm sorry that the commission delays are still continuing. I'm in negotiations with changing my Part-Time job.

I'm disenfranchised and feel demoralized working at H&M sadly. Constantly selling a pitch for the Free Loyalty Rewards Program every day and being told 'no' a lot is taking a big toll on my mental health and well-being. It has been one of the most demoralizing experiences, but I'm grateful for the skills that I've learned from this job thus far, not only training me for customer service, but also givinge.ideas on how I can approach commissions in the future.

As of now, I was able to snag an interview that will happen today with Costco for a seasonal position in their Clothing Department. Again, thank you so much for your patience during this difficult time in my life.

This is the one of the most mental pain moments I've ever felt in my life and the stress and struggle is tearing me apart inside.

I hope with this job change, I'll get a decent amount of hours to work without too much pressure to constantly sell any loyalty programs. At least at Costco, everyone coming in is guaranteed to have a membership so I don't have to worry about selling any memberships or expecting me to ask for anyone's emails.

I'm done feeling like my self-worth is only determined by a percentage of how much I got people to sign up for a stupid loyalty program when someone should have autonomy to choose.

Please bear with me in this trying time. I'm ready to put in my two weeks notice as soon as I know what the results are after the interview. This is my only shot. 🙏

I know not much was made in July due to my day job, but my schedule seems to be a little lighter with work this month seeing the weeks ahead. I'm gonna do what I can to get a few done this month.

I know I've been slacking hard, but bills must be paid and the only way I can I'm right now is if I have a part time job on the side so I don't have to rely on constantly taking commissions to cover the bills.

I'm 3 days away from hitting my 90 day probationary period at my day job and everything looks good so far. At least I have a consistent income every 2 weeks to pay my bills. Something that wasn't possible when I did art commissions full time. I lived at home for 4 1/2 years and now, I'm starting to go back into the real world.

I'm learning a lot at my part time job and I still have a lot to learn with customer service and the like. Something I hope to incorporate into my next round of commissions. I'll be revamping the way I do them once I'm done with my current queue.

Again, I want to sincerely apologize for the long wait times. I can only do so much right now, and I hope it's okay. Please message me if you need a refund, I'll do my best, but know that I can probably only give enough with my current paycheck.

Good news! I think I've settled enough into my day job that I can start working on commissions again :)

Thank you so much for your patience. My hand feels like it's almost learning how to redraw, but, I think it'll pick up just fine as I keep going.

Bad news is, yes, I'm working at a much slower pace as I'm used to given my current work schedule. I'll be definitely chipping away, but it will all get done one way or another.

When this whole queue is done, I'll be revamping my entire way of doing commissions. From the way I take and receive comms to price adjustments (in a good way, hopefully).
