What made you choose the species of your main fursona?
Well, this part of the fursona-making project isn't really "important" or "special" to me. I like choosing species that arent often used, or that I dont have a lot of experience drawing. I get easily burnt out on the canines cats and run-of-the-mill-species. I like to keep it interesting! Um. Shrews are nervous and shy and I am that very a lot much. Um. Insectivores! If I could eat bugs I would. Not meat for me though. lets gorge on fruit and bugs that sounds gr8

ehH more of how I want to be. I feel like fursonas for me are for expressing your most basic self and really i wanna be a rat person

I lost internet and my tablet pen, making it even that harder to stay in touch with FA and my FA friends. I still consider this community a large and comfortable place in my life, and I apologize. I am also overwhelmingly busy than I am used to, but spring is slowly cheering me up.

If anyone knows where I can get a semi-cheap tablet pen for an intuos5 then let me know ;; I want to make art for here again.

SO there have been a lot of things happening lately.

For one, I will not be able to make it to FWA ): And secondly is all the reasons why.

I've moved out of my parents house. Living with some nice people and am doing pretty okay. But because of this I wont have enough money for FWA, although I still plan on going to MFF again this year. Also, there is no computer available to me in this new place uUAUAHG. Thats why there has been almost no activity from me apart from submissions I can fav on my phone. But the move has also evoked some non-furry traditional art from me, which is absolutely fantastic. I had a little bit of a breakdown a while ago worried that furry art was all I was capable of. It's proving a challenge, but I figured out I can do things other than furry.

I suck at doing commissions, and generally do not have time for them anyways. But I love designing characters and I am hoping I can use this to an advantage <: I'm pretty broke atm and if I want to make it to FWA then I will have to start making some cash outside my regular irl job.

So what kind of designs would you people like to see/be interested in? Anthro? Feral? Dogs and things or more unique species? I have a few I may post tonight but otherwise all my drawing time right now will go towards my FWA fund<3

I'm an elephant shrew now.

I've been thinking about fursonas and things and they've always been my main, if not only, reason to be and draw in the furry community. I think I will always have to be a furry just because the idea behind fursonas just fascinates me and I want to just draw all my friends together as animals. All the other aspects like fetishes or suits(kinda) etc. don't really do it for me.

What do you guys think about fursonas and the furry lifestyle in general? Why are you here?

LOL. So after rolling into a 15-20 ft ditch/riverbed/canyon ALL my furry things are still in it. Including a mannequin head that will most likely lead to some cult-related questioning by the police. But I am okay. The bear is not. I feel sorry for him ): poor guy.

Also, MFF is soon. I am rooming with  tape  vixe  22mg  lechoux and  oykoyk, if everything goes accordianingly. I get to meet so many of my friends, including (I am really just going to MFF to marry them. To myself)

Some people may know that I love coyotes. My obsession is so bad it really annoys me sometimes. But I'm gonna feed it anyways.

So if you have a coyote character, give me a ref of it! I'm gonna chose a few and then draw em in a group picture. So from now on I've been doodling a lot on paper. Mostly ideas for an alternate fursona. Too complicated to get into right now lol but bottom line is that I am keeping Baxter. Don't worry.
Also going to try to get into some mouse-oriented pixel work. It's been a long time and after working on the 'neon rose' thing thats in my gallery, which was mouse and ms paint, I realize that I am oh so rusty.

Promotion. Pay raise. More hours. So that, too, is also going to put a damper on my art. But I'll try. Maybe if I get a hair up my butt I'll post the thousands of traditional doodles and pieces I have laying around. If enough people wanna see it, that is.

and I'm taking it all pretty well. Hoping I'm not just too distracted by school and work to let it affect me. But other good news is I am graduating soon! Might be moving down with Jordhan<3 Getting really inspired by some Emily Dickinson we're reading in school. Seeing some improvement in my art, even.
