Posted 14 years agoI have a horrible wheat allergy (old news) which means I have to get special food. Consequently I never have enough money and have to rely on 
for art supplies.
Unfortunately, they too are really poor right now. . . which means I couldn't make anything even if I wanted.
HOWEVER they promise me that in the spring I'll get to make a pair of feline costumes! They'll be modeled by me, which means they'll be beautiful, of course. Except for that they'll be different colors, which will mar them.
Until then, I'm stuck sleeping next to the radiators, which seem to be the only warm places lately.

Lazy cat
Posted 14 years agoThe summer heat has me feeling particularly lazy. All I do is lay around all day. . .
I'm thinking of trying my paws at charm making someday soon, but eh, that would require getting off my fat ass.
I have found one thing that really brightens my day, however - jumping all over vombatiformes and arpad every morning around 5, meowing at the top of my lungs! It's great fun!

Full partial (this includes head, arms, feet (you provide the shoes), and tail): $450
Just a head: $250
I'm also open for parts, but am not sure what to charge, so if interested, send me a note and we'll figure something out :)
DISCOUNTS will be given if you:
-use at least 50% fleece (take off $50)
-use fur I have in stock (take off $50)
-want a non-canine (take off $50)
-want a static jaw (take off $25)
(except for the static jaw, these aren't stack-able, so you only get one!)

construction:I'm comfortable working on a plastic mesh or balaclava base. Heads come default with a moving jaw. I'm also comfortable leaving room for glasses!
deadlines: I am willing (and happy) to work with deadlines! Actually, I'd prefer it! In general, in the summer I'd like to have at least a month, and in the winter, I'd like to have at least two months, to finish a project. deadlines shorter than this may be doable (especially in the summer), but I reserve the right to add a 25% rush fee if you need it within the week or something nuts!
payment method: I prefer paypal, but will take whatever sort of payment method you like, so long as the money gets here!
payment plans: I require a %25 downpayment on regular projects, %50 on rush orders. after that we can make up a payment plan that works for you, so long as you can pay in full by the completion deadline. I will not mail out a suit that hasn't been paid for.
progress reports: I prefer to send updates at the end of 'stages' for approval (example: foam work, pattern, fur), but am willing to send updates at the end of time periods (example: every week), or upon request.
references: I'll work with visual or written descriptions of your character.
however, If all you've got is a description and your character has super-specific markings, I may charge an extra $10 to make a visual reference (that you'll get to keep, of course) or request that you get one made.
If you feel like this TOS is missing something, please let me know. Customers will not be effected by a change in TOS that occurs after the commission begins, unless it's in the customer's favor!

I finally learned how to type today, and so I'd like to say hello!
My name is Stag, I'm's cat (or roommate, as I prefer to say).
I enjoy long days of sunny spots on the rug, in a chair, on the bed, or on the stairs. One of my favorite pas-times is waiting until everyone else is asleep, and then stealing vombatiformes's yarn and tangling it around the house!
But that's just for fun. I've been informed that I need to start pulling my weight around here, and so I've decided to start taking fursuit commissions! It's a little bit hard to maneuver the hot glue gun, but my claws are practically scissors, so the sculpting part comes natural!
Anyway, my paws are exhausted from all this posting, not to mention that arpad says he needs the computer back now. . . so more later.
