So I put iTunes on my own computer so I don't have to deal with my mum's shitty computer anymore and I basically put every CD I have onto it and a couple of them were old Now CD's (23 and 19 I believe, yes I went through that phase) and just omfg...

Does anyone know anything about write-protection on sd cards? I just got an sd card that I was going to use for iTunes and my music, but it's write protected. I did a little research and found out that apparently the little notch in the side of it is what causes that to happen, and you can fix it by putting a thin layer of tape over it (or a couple of layers sometimes). Well lo and behold it worked!!!... for about a day. Now it's giving me the same goddamn error and I can't put any more tape on it without it getting stuck. Does anyone know of any OTHER ways to remove the write-protection before I remove this goddamn sd card from existence!?

EDIT: I may have fixed it for now but god only knows. (It was defaulted to FAT32, so I reformatted it and it seems to be working)

All George Lopez references aside, I am actually rather upset. I finally have the time and (sort of) the energy to draw, and apparently I have lost my tablet pen yet again. If I don't find it in the nest couple days, I'm going to redo the commissions I owe traditionally, since they're both only half finished anyways. Just a heads up to those two who have commissioned me<33

So due to a shitty quarter and a new job, I have been seriously slacking off in the world of FurAffinity...

I currently have 1000+ Journals that I simply will not be able to go through, and two commissions waiting that I still need to color. I feel horrible that I can't get anything done, but hopefully once I get through this major list of things to do I will be able to get back to drawing, though I know for sure commissions after these two will probably be few and far between. (Not that anyone really wants commissions from me anyways)

But anyways... If you had anything really important in a journal in the past couple of months, please contact me about it if you really care if I know<33

Right now I have a nice list to attend to:

-clean up the mess I've accumulated from this quarter
-finish Christmas shopping
-finish wrapping presents
-upload drawings/projects that have built up throughout the quarter
-finish commissions
-do a TON of laundry (my work clothes have all been worn excessively and scattered throughout the house =P )

Please note that this really isn't in order either...

So I just scanned a bunch of shit today, but I don't ave time to post it before I have to leave (nevermind the fact that I had a few seconds to post this journal) so tomorrow I will be posting lots of stuff, since tonight I am working until 11pm, and then I have to be at work at 7am tomorrow :T

My life's been pretty hectic around here. My job has been taking my only days off from school, which just started up, and I was just out camping for the weekend. I do have some arts to submit but they aren't quite finished. I actually tried my hand at a sketchy little comic which will give a couple of my characters A LOT more depth. As for the commissions I owe, they're coming a long slow, but they are still coming along. Finding time for digital work is a lot harder than traditional. I can't just find a pencil and start doodling, especially with the lack of a solid workspace. Hopefully my room and drawing desk will be done soon, so that I can actually sit down and get some honest work done.

So I've been cleaning out my room to make space for a gigantic drafting table from my parents' friend, and I found a few things I'd like to sell to someone interested.

Yes, I had an interview at Target today, and after seeing three different people, I was offered the job! As long as my drug test comes back okay, I start with Orientation on Saturday! And if my drug test does not come back well, then I will cry because I don't know why the hell it wouldn't since I don't even drink or smoke cigarettes let alone do less legal drugs...

So yeah I'm happy for once in my life x3 Now we wait for it all to come crashing down around me! :DD

Yesterday I realized that I had Walmart gift cards from like the past two easters, and found a way to cheat the system. I bought visa gift cards using the walmart giftcards, and was able to pay off the minimum payment on my credit card AAANDDDD buy GTA V!!! :DD I'm still open for commissions because I'll obviously still need money once school starts up again, but I'm pretty damn happy right now :3 <3

Unfortunately once again (Due to a rip off at a downtown parking lot) My credit card bill has exceeded my checking account's resources. Altogether I need a whopping $5 to make the minimum payment... However, to pay off the entire card I need to raise about $25. Sadly this means that my GTA V days will have to be put off for a few weeks unless I get ALOT of commissions soon. But I'm not really worried about the game, just my credit :T So if anyone is willing to help, I always have commissions open<3

A store finally contacts me to schedule an interview with me for a job, and what do I do? I get lost on the way there, completely miss the interview, and just about burst into tears as I can't even remember how to get home.

How's everyone else's day going?

I won't be online for the weekend since I'm going camping<3 I'll have my sketchbooks and markers, so I'll still be able to work on my commissions! I also have my laptop and tablet, but the battery won't last long so digital commissions won't get as far...

So I'm actually gonna have to start being aggressive towards people now, since I'm apparently invisible.

I'm being completely ignored by every place I apply to, so I'm going to have to call each and every one of them (which will make me feel and therefore seem desperate) asking if they got my application because I know they're looking for people, or else they wouldn't be putting fresh ads up on job search websites. (not to mention the girl who is paid to work at the school helping students find jobs who doesn't do shit and literally just stopped replying to me when I was trying to schedule an appointment with her)

My own friends are interrupting me every time I try to tell a story like I'm not even there or talking (though mostly it's just one or two people who keep doing it) so I'm either going to have to start talking louder (which will be difficult because I already feel obnoxious talking at all in groups), interrupting them right back (again with the feeling obnoxious), or point it out which will probably lead to a fight considering my irritable state lately.

And of course the one person who I want to talk to most isn't responding to my texts and rarely leaves me with more than a link to a photo or video instead of an actual conversation.

So yeah I'm sorry to the people who have actually been talking to me, because you aren't the problem and you know if you aren't. I'm just tired of feeling like I only have two people who care about me in the world...

Oh and one last thing, I know that some of you are trying to help with tough love type stuff, but threatening me with embarrassment if I don't stop being depressed is really only making me feel worse...

Having to drive downtown yesterday due to a lack of cash for the bus, I was looking for a place to park. There is a parking garage across from the dorms for my school, where my friends live and I have parked before, but they are only open to full leases in the morning. I finally found a lot that sounded great. The sign in front said $8.00 in gigantic white letters. I can't be certain, but I'm pretty sure it said $8.00 a day. Well, when I paid for the ticket last night, it cost me $26 fucking dollars. As it turns out, it was $8.00 for the first twenty minutes. Who the fuck makes a full size parking lot that gets filled beyond the point of being able to leave, and gives you a twenty minute period to park!?

Long story short, I'm really pissed about this right now, and just after I finish paying off my credit card, I have $26 on it for ONE FUCKING DAY OF PARKING.
