So what I like about myself.

My hair, although probably not perfect I think it pretty fricken awesome. It's a really nice colour chestnut that even looks golden from time to time.
My face, it's not perfectly symetrical but it's heart shaped and my smile is contagious. (So I am told)
My compassion, there are a lot of heartless jerks out there. I am happy to NOT be one of them.
My strength, not physically but mentally. I can put up with a lot of BS, but I always come out of it stronger!

So, I am thinking about going. It gives me just enough time to get some soap together. Some of my favorite artists will be there and it's not too terribly far from home. Since I will not be attending AC this year it seems like a great alternative. One where I will not have to stay if I do not like the place. If it's boring, it is just a short drive back home!

So, I have noticed something lately... the ungratefulness of people.

I tend to go to a lot of freebie/requests. I enjoy collecting art, as do a lot of people.

However, these artists do not have to give away their free time to you. They do not have to put the effort into making YOU something nice. They are choosing to use their talent and make you something.

I keep seeing the same thing happening over and over again. Whining and moaning and downright bitching.. about free stuff.

Be grateful for the things you get, be thankful for the chances you get... because remember... they don't have to do squat for you.


On a happier note, I want to say thank you to any and all artists that have given me a piece, will give me a piece! I really do appreciate your time and effort! (Plus I get really giddy when I get art!)

So this is not really a question for me, as it doesn't happen all too often (thank goodness) But, the question is now on my mind.

When is it too long to wait for a commission?

I will not name names of course, but there was a piece ordered of 4 characters. It was ordered in a time of need for this person(The artist). The artist is amazing but it was a LOT of money. It's been 11 months that my friend has been waiting. They have poked this artist quite a few times but now it just seems like the artist is blowing them off. Not responding to them and taking on new commissions without doing the piece that was commissioned 11 months ago. (Full pieces, sketches, YCHs all in just the last few months.)

They say they do not have the money to pay the commissioner back. (Because I asked my friend if he has asked!)

So the question stands, how long is too long? And if this artist really is blowing off my friend, what can be done? I know it was paid in full!

Well, it's getting close and I know everyone is looking for some awesome gifts for the holidays. Why not get something useful and awesome all at the same time? SOAP! Just been one of those days where everything breaks and everything reminds you of something dour. A lot of my equipment has been breaking. Feel sick to my stomach just thinking about it. Got three loafs done, nothing super fancy. Doing some castile soap soon and hopefully some pretty designs later on this year. I am just not a very patient person. Send me your best wishes everyone? I really need some good vibes my way.

Well, I have rescently gotten back into crafting. I found that copic markers have a very simple air brush system! I really always wanted to learn it. These are a simple, non expensive way to get started it seems. However I have never seen anyone use them on leather. Has anyone ever tried this? Any info you can give to me on them?

I think it's going to kill me. I am vomiting, shaking, and sore. I'm a mess on so many levels. He is too afraid to contact me and doesn't trust me enough to see me. It's over. All I want is my stuff back now. I want to move on with my life. Find someone who cares enough about my health to make sure I am eating properly. Someone who doesn't rub his events in my face and someone who doesn't blame things like what has happened entirely on me. I went through all the trouble to try and get all of this dropped because I wanted nothing like this to happen. Sorry that this state sucks. But what is worse is his lack of trust and his lack of awareness. I've lost too much weight to be healthy. I don't want the relationship to end but I think it's unhealthy for me to keep hanging on. I'de go to the ends of the earth for him but I have found it's not the same for him.

I'm feeling scared and my heart really hurts. I can't tell you how upsetting this is, as there are no words in any language that can describe accurately how I feel and what I am going through. It's just pain. What I find funny is he is the one that changed our status back to engaged and yet he knows I have no food and he goes out and buys a tablet. Yes, really, I feel the concern for my well being, really I do. I didn't ask for this. Soon, I will be probably going to the hospital whether I really want to or not. I wonder how he will feel then.

To top the cake off i've been e-mailed by people whom have no buisness e-mailing me. Trying to kick me while I am down. I find that's when everyone wants to point and laugh and judge your life like anyone has the right to do that. I've deleted some people off my lists and I am going to be planning on leaving soon I hope. Be it moving in with a friend or going to the womens shelter I am not sure yet. Nothing is really set in stone. I'de rather stay put to be honest but I have no means to keep this place. I am back to worrying about my animals again. So the cycle continues.

Today was awkward. I am not feeling so well. I have bumps all over my body. They itch really bad, I am guessing it's the stress though. However I was not feeling so bad emotional wise today. I may be getting an interview for a nanny position. I find that to make my day a lot better. However, I have not found out if I am getting any assistance or not so I am still on the edge of my seat on whether or not I am truly moving tomorrow. No word from ANYBODY if my room is going to be paid for. I told my room-mate he would be though because that's the possibility. Cross your fingers!

On another note, people really need to shut their mouths sometimes. I have really found who my friends are in this situation and I can't tell you how I angry I am about it all. I am so grateful to the ones that have sent me prayer and well wishes and have assisted me through everything. It means the world to me. I'll never know if I can do anything to repay you but to know I REALLY have friends.. well.. It really makes me feel loved.

So it's been a few days and I have not updated you guys at all. I am still in the dark about a lot of things. I still really haven't got much word from him. However, I have heard that I am being blamed for everything that has happened. Although, I hope that is not truly how he feels I can actually see it as his opinion. It brings a lot of mixed emotions up to the surface but mostly fear that something horrible will happen. I fear for many things, safety for my animals, safety for me, and safety for him. I am getting a lot of second hand information so nothing is 100% for sure. He won't talk to anyone. He has ignored my requests. Which of course I did not ask personally. Legal authorities are probably going to be involved on both sides now. All I want is this to all be worked out. I never wanted anyone to get hurt. I didn't/don't want my relationship to end. With that said, I will not live a life where I am not a partner. That I am less then equal and I am treated as such. I want to be able to talk civilized but I fear pride will get in the way. I will not be blamed for everything when everything was not my fault. WE had a fight so we are both to blame for being involved. It's never one sided. I admitted my wrong doings. I've tried to make this right. I can only pray that everything will work itself out, because right now my heart is filled with dread and I can not see anything good happening from all of this.
