Outside of drawing I've been working on learning Blender. You might remember a few years ago I shared a few renders of a Mechamaw model. After that I worked on a Vapour model this year, which for whatever reason I never really got around to posting any nice renders of on here.

The next picture I'm planning to colour is of Saari in her library in the spirit realm. She's able to remove her mask without any issue in the spirit realm. You can see the picture itself on that link.

What I'm looking for are fun names for the books. Preferably these would be a play on real named books, but based around ice, snow, ghost, northern or spirit themes. Failing that they can be just joke titles, or anything else you think is fun! If you're a writer, perhaps she has some of yours in there too!

You can name as many as you want, as you can see, I need quite a lot of them!

Sorry for the journal, or possibly the lack of! I don't post anywhere near as many of these as I used to.

I hope you're enjoying all the art posted, my plan was to make the Charity picture the last picture posted this side of Christmas. I've got a ton more to post after that!

Anyway, the situation on Twitter has gotten beyond the point where I no longer feel comfortable using the site. I've actually stopped posting art there for the last 6 weeks, and unless something changes drastically for the better, I won't be returning. As for the other sites I'm on. This continues to by my main place that you'll find the majority of my drawings. But I'm also still on Deviant Art and Weasyl. Hey folks, first up, Happy New year!

Last year, I drew up reference sheets for all of my characters, which I then assembled into an interactive reference viewer, which I'll share on here once I've got them all posted. I feel that they're probably a good thing to start up the new year by posting! If you have any questions on a specific character, feel free to ask in the replies and such.

So after much consideration, I have decided to open a Patreon account. What will it be?

First up let me tell you what my Patreon page isn't:
This will not be a paywall. All of my art is going to continue to be publicly available. I don't believe in paywalls for art. It's something I love doing and love sharing with the world. I would never want money to get in the way of doing something I enjoy.

What it will allow though, is:

- Get Early Access to my drawings - I delay posting art to maximise visibility. As such, I almost always have a backlog of art to post on StampyDragon.com, my Deviant Art Account and my Fur Affinity Account. What I'll do instead, is share those links with folks on here as soon as they're done, instead of waiting around for pesky things like names and descriptions.

- Get access to Alternate Versions of pictures. Many of my pictures have Alternate Versions. In most cases this is just me swapping the background for something fun, or other such differences. They're usually just created for fun and aren't normally posted anywhere.

- Vote for pictures to be finished up as full coloured pictures! I often have too many pictures to colour them all so you guys can help me decide!


Drawing has proven itself quite expensive for me lately and I absolutely appreciate any and all help I can get. But do remember that it is not compulsory. All art will still be posted here completely free of charge.

I'm looking for cameos and victims for pictures. Rather than just using generic furs all the time, I figured I would try giving you lot a chance to appear in some troublesome situations!

This is a generic form which you can sign up for multiple times with different characters. You can even apply to just be a cameo if you like to appear in pictures, but outside of the direct line of fire.

So! Tell your friends too as I would like a big list of people to choose from. Just remember, being on this list does NOT guarantee you to be drawn. It just puts you a list of possible cameos. Anyone who pesters to be drawn will be removed from the list.

One thing I've been meaning to do for quite some time is link all the pictures in my gallery by character. So I've gone through all my pictures and done exactly that!

I've been toying with the posting some of the fan art, art trades, commissions etc I've had done for me over the years - Basically all the art of my characters that wasn't done by me.

Now I certainly wouldn't want to post them to this account as I've got over a decade of backlog. But what I might do is open a secondary account as post pictures there. All the pictures are already available on my website. but a lot of them haven't been posted here. And it might be nice to link back to the original artists' versions if they're on here and give them a bit more attention too.

One of the differences in my art style over the last month or two, is that I've started to use a lot more coloured shading layers instead of pure monochrome. As a test, I figured I would take a picture of mine from the middle of last year, that I was never really quite happy with, and see if I could make it look better, by ONLY changing blend modes, and balancing colours.

I've taken a few other things out of the picture where things looked too forced in the original. Anyway! What do you guys think? Does the vibrant coloured version look all around better? or is it too much? I'm curious as to what people's thoughts are, as its been a big change in my art style in the last few pictures.
