It's fudge season again!
Posted 6 years ago Well, it's getting to that time of year that holiday baking will begin again. With that, I'll be especially making a lot of fudge. You could say I'm a real fudge packer during the holidays, huh? To that end, I love to ship out to fellow furries, scalies, and friends of all types! Of course, while I would, if I could afford, just ship some to everyone wanting some, that's prohibitively expensive so I ask for something in return. Artwork! (Or perhaps some of your own sweet treats, good for the holiday sweet exchanges naturally!)
Now what I offer is... FUDGE! Around a 2lbs block of fudge (I can put in two flavors if desired though due to packing they might be slightly smaller overall, I have an idea though the flavors might mingle where they touch if I pack as one single... but I'm digressing a bit!) basically the size of a VHS tape. (If you're that young, Google it. ;) )
Flavor potentials include!
Chocolate, White chocolate, Snickerdoodle Fudge (Cinnamon White Chocolate), Mint Chocolate, Chocolate with nuts in it (Walnuts or pecans are most common, but inquire about other types too), Peanut butter chocolate fudge, Nutella fudge, and Butterscotch fudge. I can probably do other flavors if I can get my paws on the appropriate flavoring, please ask and I'll see what I can do!
What do I want though for the trade? Some artwork! Generally of my character and of a holiday theme (Optional). They can involve your character or another (Willing) character as well. Overall I'm not too picky in the overall design and it should be some fun being had for sure. If you don't art yourself you could look into a commission from someone. If you are commisioning someone else let me know who please. I do prefer though people to do their own, I mostly add this option for those in the past who have offered such.
I do hold the ability to not do a trade but I do this much for fun and am fairly open to most peoples art abilities and styles. So if you are looking for sweets contact me here via notes or on my Twitter account are two of the easiest places. I do have access to a Telegram and Discord as well but contact me privately for that information.
The first shipment out will probably be Mid November is the plan for preparation and shipping, there should also be one more early December as well. If you have a preference of the time let me know.
Oh, and on a sad note, I can only effectively ship within the US. Since it is a food item shipping outside the US seems to have issues. The couple of times I've attempted to (And it was to Canada) the people I sent to said they never received it, and it's also really expensive to ship there too. So due to it seeming to be eaten at customs, I won't ship outside the US, my apologies.

Megaplex 2019 was great!
Posted 6 years agoJust saying, loved Megaplex this year! I was staffing and so busy making much of the food for the sponsor suite.
Was a great time and looking forward to next year!
One of the things I did there on Saturday night was chocolate dipped fruit! Though done in suit. I got some video of it and wanted to share, so take a look if you like!

FWA 2017
Posted 8 years agoOne of my favorite FWAs ever! I made a lot of new friends, the cookie donation went for $350 which is a new record, and it was a super fun theme.
Loved the Bit Brigade that performed too, God Level Suite was at an all new favorite and that reminds me, I better sign up for my God-Level for next year already! Sweet!
Looking forward to next year with a 100% Hotel Buy Out from us, wow!
Keep on being awesome FWA!
Next year's theme? Galactic Gunslingers! This is just perfect for the game Wildstar which I love to play. So fitting!

Back from FWA! Good year!
Posted 9 years agoWhile I may have only been there from Friday to Sunday, it was a LOT of fun!
Already planning to be Thursday - Monday next year (And I may have two roomies lined up so I could afford it this time too!)
Just have to say, was a lot of fun.
The tray of cookies I donated went for $250 at the charity auction this year, which is awesome! Very happy for that and to help the CCI. I still need to visit them sometime. :)
Great God Level this year. The Glowing book we got is actually pretty neat. It may see some occasional use too! The meat faucet, awesome as always, and lots of down right delicious treats up in the God Level lounge as well. I really liked the little strawberries with balsamic, cheese, and meat they did (Despite forgetting to take the stems off the strawberries.) Maybe next year making those they can serve them on pretzel sticks for edible sticks.
The Dance competition was awesome as always. The greatest laugh moment of course being when one of the dancers did a fast one with a suiter handed off to him this giant fuzzy penis with zebra balls and he propelled it while the song dropped some comment about a dick there... It had laughs and cheers aplenty. It happened so quick and stealthy (from my position across the stage) that it was a surprise to many! It took me a moment to realize how it even happened and wasn't actually on his suit ( I saw the other suiter clutching it heavily and hiding it fairly well!) FWA Denied all knowledge that would happen! And reminded, it is after 9pm... heh. I think that is a reason they do after 9pm for the dance, so all music can go.
Beyond that, I spent a lot of time socializing and I got a bunch of photos too. I'll slowly add them. Being on a new computer I don't have my previous editing software on here and debating what I can use for easy photo sizing and cropping out there, as well as I need something to strip sound from videos (Possibly put new sound back) That is easy to use... I took some rave video and while the video looks decent, the Sound is horrid! I welcome suggestions and advice on such!

The tray of cookies I donated went for $250 at the charity auction this year, which is awesome! Very happy for that and to help the CCI. I still need to visit them sometime. :)
Great God Level this year. The Glowing book we got is actually pretty neat. It may see some occasional use too! The meat faucet, awesome as always, and lots of down right delicious treats up in the God Level lounge as well. I really liked the little strawberries with balsamic, cheese, and meat they did (Despite forgetting to take the stems off the strawberries.) Maybe next year making those they can serve them on pretzel sticks for edible sticks.
The Dance competition was awesome as always. The greatest laugh moment of course being when one of the dancers did a fast one with a suiter handed off to him this giant fuzzy penis with zebra balls and he propelled it while the song dropped some comment about a dick there... It had laughs and cheers aplenty. It happened so quick and stealthy (from my position across the stage) that it was a surprise to many! It took me a moment to realize how it even happened and wasn't actually on his suit ( I saw the other suiter clutching it heavily and hiding it fairly well!) FWA Denied all knowledge that would happen! And reminded, it is after 9pm... heh. I think that is a reason they do after 9pm for the dance, so all music can go.
Beyond that, I spent a lot of time socializing and I got a bunch of photos too. I'll slowly add them. Being on a new computer I don't have my previous editing software on here and debating what I can use for easy photo sizing and cropping out there, as well as I need something to strip sound from videos (Possibly put new sound back) That is easy to use... I took some rave video and while the video looks decent, the Sound is horrid! I welcome suggestions and advice on such!

FWA Cookies / Fudge for Art exchange!
Posted 9 years agoIt's that time! FWA is coming up at the end of the month and naturally I'm late posting this.
I'll be taking limited offerings on this this year.
I'll only be attending FWA from Friday till Sunday due to lacking a roomate situation, as well as just taking a little less time. It's okay though! If you need my contact info please Note me for phone numbers for texting and such. I'm really bad about twitter and won't have access to FA while at the convention because I'm still a smart phone nub and my smart phone is run by cold mollasses in a freezer...
I'm a nub on it!
I'll also be bringing the standard really large tray of delicious sweets for the charity auction too!
I "may" have some assorted packs ready to do spontaneous trades at the convention, but it's better to be planned ahead.

How the trade works. I can provide a 2+ lbs block of fudge or two dozen cookies of your choosing. I can do Vegan fudge and Vegan Oatmeal raisin as well in the way of cookies. (Been requested these in the past and done so successfully!) (Also I tend to throw extra stuff in here on top of that as well. )
I do process on shared equipment that works with all sorts of stuff so if you have severe food allergies while I do my best to not have cross contamination I cannot guarantee it. Accepting a trade is at your own risk!
You can contact me via notes or via replying to here if you are interested.
What you provide in turn is... art! Something of my character but of your choosing. If not sure about themes you can always do something cooking related or something with the theme of FWA this year, camping! It's up to you. Badges are nice too.

Looking for FWA rooming!
Posted 9 years agoFWA is a few months away but I like to plan for these things ahead.
My usual roomate situation is, alas, not going to happen this year so I need to consider new rooming options. The hotel is a bit expensive for me to do on my own and I'm looking for a three or four person split. (Please, no more than four in a room though, I'd appreciate that!) I'm looking for Thursday to Monday as well but that's flexible a bit one way or the other too. I drive so can adjust a little bit.
Need to decide on it soon before rooms get booked up and I can't book a room for myself in a pinch (Which would only be for Friday and Saturday if I'm doing my own rooming.)

Also my apologies on my quietness for a while now, and for not doing fudge this year. Things have just been getting the better of me of late.
Also, don't forget you can reg for Megaplex now! It opened as of the 1st and you should go register and make sure to be in the hotel this year! Amazing, amazing benefits and it's all just furries too!

They did an awesome job hosting and loved it. Really looking forward to the new hotel, which I was worried about because this one was really awesome to us, but the perks... $129 a night, the whole hotel, breakfast, every room is a suite, Cocktails from 5 - 7pm... What is not to love?
I hope the Hotel loves us!

Take a look to peruse, overall a LOT of the photos came out well thanks to a fellow I was standing next to telling me to set my ISO on my camera to a really high number (Set it to 3200) which helped a LOT! Not sure who he was, but he has my thanks! If anyone sees a particular picture or character they want from the parade send me a note and I can send the full, HD, version of the file to you and if desired can even crop it ahead of time too if wanted. Let me know. :)
I'll give up an FWA report at a later point, but to sum it up, I had a blast and a great time it was a very good year.

I'll be doing fudge of assorted flavors this year... I ship out about a 1 1/2 lbs to 2 lbs block of fudge (The size of a VHS cassette tape... I wonder how many years I'll be able to continue using that as an example? Anyone else know a good comparison that's more modern?) that is home made. In exchange you provide art!

I love holiday friendship stuff, I also love general sweet stuff as well too. Baking dragons, there can never be to many of those, especially so if feral in design.
This is meant to be done in fun and good holiday spirits, but those wanting a price comparison if I were selling it, it would be around $20 with shipping for the basic fudge, more for with nuts. No, I'm not actually selling the fudge, sorry. :)

For the art... Nothing adult please, just stating that up front.
I love holiday themes, and it can be part of a scene as well. It can be as done up as you like and feel relevant for enjoying a couple pounds of fudge. I send them solid block but well wrapped so you can slice it at home for the best freshness. I am happy to pose with your character or with consenting friends as well too, or just a single character shot.
I love feral dragon style when possible, but anthro is great too. Wings are actually optional, but having spectacles on is a definite must (Feral or not!)

For the fudge that you'll receive.
I make a decent variety for the holidays. There are a few that are assured to be made.
Chocolate (Semi-sweet)
Nutella,
White Chocolate,
Mint Chocolate,
Peanut Butter and Chocolate,
Peanut Butter.
Black Walnuts, Walnuts, and Pecans are available to add to fudge.
Now if you want a flavor other than these, feel free to ask! I can get my paws on an assortment of extracts and don't mind making something exotic and different. I once made a Red Hot Cinnamon fudge with a white chocolate base, dyed it red, and it really popped! Was some great fudge. White chocolate colors excellently for fudge.
When I do nut fudges I only do nut fudges on a certain day. I also only do peanut fudges on a certain day as well. This helps to prevent cross contamination but as a warning those with allergies I do use shared equipment since this is all done in a home kitchen but I do my utmost to ensure plenty of cleaning between such projects. You have been warned though. :) If you do have any food allergies please LET ME KNOW, so I can double check ingredient labels.
The fudge is all made from scratch and you can even find an older version of my current recipe here in my gallery talking about different fudges. :)

I love holiday themes, and it can be part of a scene as well. It can be as done up as you like and feel relevant for enjoying a couple pounds of fudge. I send them solid block but well wrapped so you can slice it at home for the best freshness. I am happy to pose with your character or with consenting friends as well too, or just a single character shot.
I love feral dragon style when possible, but anthro is great too. Wings are actually optional, but having spectacles on is a definite must (Feral or not!)

I do reserve the right to not agree to a trade too for whatever reason. Though mostly I just ask that you put some good love and effort into the drawing. :) Be happy with it and I will be. :)
Not much of an artist but like to commission? That's okay too.
Also trading for cookies and candies and the like is also acceptable, as I love to swap baked goods for the holidays. :)
(Also, I have a chua in Wildstar that is also a chef, I can provide some screenshots if someone is a fan of drawing chua and Wildstar related things. This is an option too. :) )

For the fudge that you'll receive.
I make a decent variety for the holidays. There are a few that are assured to be made.
Chocolate (Semi-sweet)
Nutella,
White Chocolate,
Mint Chocolate,
Peanut Butter and Chocolate,
Peanut Butter.
Black Walnuts, Walnuts, and Pecans are available to add to fudge.
Now if you want a flavor other than these, feel free to ask! I can get my paws on an assortment of extracts and don't mind making something exotic and different. I once made a Red Hot Cinnamon fudge with a white chocolate base, dyed it red, and it really popped! Was some great fudge. White chocolate colors excellently for fudge.
When I do nut fudges I only do nut fudges on a certain day. I also only do peanut fudges on a certain day as well. This helps to prevent cross contamination but as a warning those with allergies I do use shared equipment since this is all done in a home kitchen but I do my utmost to ensure plenty of cleaning between such projects. You have been warned though. :) If you do have any food allergies please LET ME KNOW, so I can double check ingredient labels.
The fudge is all made from scratch and you can even find an older version of my current recipe here in my gallery talking about different fudges. :)

The fudge will be shipped out early December. I have a series of three days off from the 3rd through 5th planned during which I'll be finishing up the fudges and hopefully getting it all shipped on December 5th (Or if not, then Monday the 8th, early, at the latest.) If you would need the fudge sooner, for a special event, please let me know and we might be able to arrange something.
I'll be limiting myself to only four additional flavors than what is listed above and those custom flavors and those are available on a first come, first serve basis. If I can't manage to figure out how to do the flavor, well, we can work on that. :)

Back from Megaplex!
Posted 11 years agoHad an amazing time at Megaplex! It's given me some rejuvinated energy a lot and hopefully I can actually DO something with it, heh.
A wonderful hello to any new watches that comes of it!
Was great to meet so many new people and also meet so many friends from last year. I really do need to stay in better touch (I'm horrible on that! I know it.)
Saturday was a super busy day, with so many things going on during the day there, Friday was nice, and I was happy to be able to actually arrive on Thursday night for a change. Hopefully can do that again next year!
Loved the Cosmik and Rhubarb show, they are both so amazingly awesome!
The Fox and Friends Concert on Saturday was AMAZING! Did the Time Warp again, and lots of dancing... I may not have had a suit, but I was still there dancing at points, I would have gone up sooner but my shyness got in the way. Though a few songs had me dancing away regardless, heh.
Sponsor suite was good this year, they did there best given an unexpected hotel limitation they couldn't do anything about. They worked well with it though and still provided great service and food to us (Thus my sponsor covering my food budget, and helping the convention more too.)
Though overall, had a real blast, and much love to new and old friends, to great roomates, and looking forward already to next year!

Megaplex coming up!
Posted 11 years agoWhile I had thought to do sweet trades for Megaplex I probably won't this year... my life has just been going not so great of late.
I REALLY need this time away though and going to be there, even if my finances have slowly been dwindling.
I won't be coming as a Wonka Dragon like I had hoped, just couldn't see trying to manage the funds for it with ever increasing debt situation. I'll get out of it eventually.
Just dealing, five stresses at a time is all.
Looking forward to Megaplex! I'll be there and going to enjoy myself!
