Prices got adjusted in that I've severely updated how much sketchpages cost T__T Sorry not sorry but I'm just so burnt out on those and I want to do more illustrations when I already sketch a lot for comics and concepts. I know the bitching is normal from me but think of it as eating the same meal over and over and over again. Variety keeps the skills sharp. That and it takes me forever to do them now with how many doodles I fit onto a single page. I don't like taking weeks to work on a comm when I can get shit done in a day Dx

But sketchpages are the only thing that's gone up. I've lowered the cost of Simple Illustrations by 5USD and I've heavily reduced how much backgrounds cost after realizing I might've made them too much. My bad ^^
I've also added onto my form a question asking about complex designs and the like since I'm bad on catching myself on that shit.

And if there's ever any questions ya might have, my DMs are always open to questions or clarifications. Including options that might not be listed on the form but may appear on my queue for some clients.

So announcement wise, wanna thank peeps for reading my comic. I see dem numbers (both views and favorites) and it makes me happy, even if I know comments are a bitch to leave because what the fuck is commenting even. And even though its only the first chapter that's still got some pages left to be uploaded. Spire Waves is gonna be a long series though so shit's gonna be slow and I hope that it keeps people entertained, come what may.

Which brings me to the next thing: I relaunched my Patreon. I got some stuff uploaded on there right now as is, for both tiers, but more than likely, its gonna get the same sketch spam treatment that my Ko-fi gets so if that's something you're fine with, by all means give it a watch. The only comic related stuff on there right now is just concepts and worldbuilding but once Chapter 1 of Spire waves is all publicly uploaded, I'll start doing early access on there for weekly page uploads. And the other several comics I got sitting on my backburner (I like to keep busy).

And now my last announcement/update: I'm switching jobs! Again! Making my way from Subway to Safeway for better pay, benefits, actual breaks, and not being left alone for hours on end to run an entire store myself. I'm good, but not that good. I don't start for another week but provided I'm not pulling long ass shifts and shit, I'll be able to return to doing art regularly again! Maybe spicy shit too. If I can get past the sketch phase XD Time will tell

As I type this, I am on a 10 minute break at new job, making sammiches.

Just wanna say thank you to everyone who helped with paying off Tali's vet bill. Means a lot. Little demon is still causing terror like her usual self but we got her on a new diet to see if that can help with the reoccuring UTI issues, and she's under watch for if it comes back. Hopefully it doesn't but time will tell.

So yeah, finally got off my ass, grew a pair, and had to get peer pressured by some friends sick of my confidence issues to post one of my comics ^^; Yes, one of them. The others ain't nearly as ready as Spire Waves is, however. Speaking of, that bitch has a good 13 chapters for the first arc, and I am just now finishing production on the first chapter behind the scenes. Said chapter is a good 39 or so pages so we've only just begun my slowburn bullshit >:D
...Provided I find a good workflow balance. Fiancé and I recently got ourselves a car so I may have to return to the hell that is the work force just to make sure we live somewhat comfortably, but with my luck in finding a job, and medical prejudice everyone likes to pretend doesn't exist, its a task easier said than done. We'll see what happens.

Thiiiiiiiiiings weren't working out. Which should've been expected because it was Popeyes on a grand opening but also, working with an old coworker from my last job who was notorious for poor work ethic and would legit slow down a rush to the point that people waited nearly an order for their food, people talking about each other behind their backs within earshot, and a miscommunication between management so loud they would literally argue on shift in front of customers... Yeah, no, long term ain't working.
So long story short, I'm having a free schedule now ^^; Least until I pick something up to help cover bills and make my dad happy so he's not overly worried about my finances. With the lack of stress, though, I should fly through stuff a lot more easily now and actually have the motivation to produce more art again. Hopefully XD

I legit just started training at a new job. That's opening in a week. That's also the first new fast food joint in the last 20 years up in this area. And its Popeye's.

New Comm Options: Headshots/Icons
There's three to choose from, two stylized shapes and one literally called shitpost. Because fuck knows how often I draw the most meme-y of expressions that people love to make icons later on discord XD

New Rules
Due to an experience last month during a time of mental burnout, I have to put a cap on how many submissions an applicant can put in at a time. Not only does it eat at my time and give me some stress I didn't expect, but it takes from others in the queue. So starting now, if you so happen to want multiple comms from me, you're only allowed a max of three forms per month or at a time.

I'll also be putting a 5 slot limit on sketchpages per month. Being my most popular commission option sometimes tends to mean that I don't do as many fully illustrated images as I used to. That, and since I draw this shit on paper first, I kinda burn through sketchbooks a lot between my drawings and comm doodles.


It should also be known that things with my day job are still kicking my ass a bit so my turnaround time is gonna suffer, especially during weekends, but if another incident happens with my manager, that'll get rectified real fast. That being said, I'll still do my best~

Update [2/23/22]
Yeah no, I'm still gonna be a bit AFK. Fiancé surprised me with a computer upgrade so I gotta do the fun process of transferring everything over. And apparently this tower only comes with one HDMI so we need to get an extender so I can use my tablet again. Fun times.
Oh and I still haven't heard back about certain things with my job so that's great :| Fun fun times

Shit's been happening with my day job that's been not only killing my creative vibe, but also has been effecting my health as of late. We're talking somewhat regular seizures on shift (that I actually have to take my time with and not abuse to make pizzas faster) and a boss who's gonna be getting in trouble for her response to them. So yeah, that's a thing. It's kinda exhausting. Thus, my inactivity that I feel bad about.
It's probably going to be a bit before I'm back in better working order so any and all art pieces that I've been working on, as well as my poor queue, is gonna suffer for a bit. Meaning I'm gonna be slow and continuing to be inactive until further notice.
Yes, I realize my version of slow doesn't seem slow to some of y'all, but holy fuck, I'm never this bad Dx At all.


Also, before anyone freaks out about the seizure thing, it's fine. I'm relatively fine. I can still work a job with these and I've taken many precautions to make sure nothing bad happens to me outside of maybe accidentally bumping my elbow into a counter top. I've had these damn shakes long enough to know some of the legal things as well, and how many of them sadly don't apply to me because it's not epilepsy. It fucking sucks but I don't have the moneyz time or patience to fight about it. Just the small victories in my control.


So yeah, that's my announcement. Sorry if ita a bit jarring and admittly vague but there's just some things I can't control and how it ends up effecting me. I miss drawing more regularly, especially when I have a lot of ideas I want to get out of my head, and I hate becoming unreliable as a commission artist but sadly shit happens. Sketchpages got up'd by 5 USD due to the fact that I've been drawing more on them canvases for comms, but that's the only adjustment to prices made. Everything else is still the damn same from last year.
Oh no wait, I forgot. I deleted ref sheets from the forms indefinitely. 16 of them within the span of three months was too much for my psyche and gave me no energy to work on refs for my own characters (I have like 25 of them I want to do).

Like shit should not take me weeks to do when I have a track record of pumping out pictures in mere days if not hours. Thanks to a generous benefactor, I was able to get a new tablet after my kitten chewed on the cords to the last one. Rip my huion of a few years. Meaning I gotta break this new bitch in before I can return to regular art production. Give it a week or two. Depending on how long it takes me to adjust pen pressure sensitivity when I have a lighter touch and a natural aversion to functioning tech.


Also, bringing up commissions real fast to kindly request less ref sheets for a hot minute. Least for a month (don't worry, what's in the queue currently will be worked on). Not that I don't mind doing them, but when you do like 10 of them within the span of two months, you start to hate leg anatomy (again) and static poses. Seriously, it's baffling for them to be as popular as the sketchpages XD I have other options too, goddamn.

Taking a break from commissions to not only (hopefully) beef up my portfolio/gallery, but to also spend some time working on my own stories. Offering a fun little option for commissions this month until May 8th. Give me your character and I'll turn it into a monster!!! ...unless it's already a monster, sorry.
Set prices of 60 USD for halfbodies and 85 USD for fullbodies, with complex shading and gradient bg included. I'll provide examples below of what my monsters can look like, and what me twisting a character can look like. Google forms has been updated with this option as well, for those who like filling it out.
This is one of those things where I will take artistic liberties but I'm open to inspirations and aesthetics so if you'd like to provide images of that for monstrous desires. Like a trait from one, and a detail from another. As a note, however, I will not be copying any of the provided images, especially if its from another artist.

Taking a month off for myself. Fiancé and I had moved apartments during the last week of December (escaping a very toxic roommate situation), and we sorta want a bit of time together for ourselves. And with Lindor. Can't forget the cat XD But I'll be back open for public commissions come February.

As a head's up, I recently picked up a day job (first one in over a year, and the fourth time I've been employed to a pizza place), so my response time may not be the most immediate. If there is any questions, feel free to ask. If you would like to reserve a slot, please let me know; I will not start any images until the 3rd, however.
I'll be limiting what commission types I take this month. Aka, a number of slots depending on the category type. This is both an experiment on my part, and me avoiding another potential burnout like what I suffered a bit last month.

I'm gonna attempt making a costume this month, for once, since I live in an area now where kids can actually access my house. Living in the woods like a hermit shan't save me now. If not, goal at least this month is to make a prop of some sort. Even if that means getting new tools for foam cutting and all that fancy shit. Sounds fun, yeah? XD
