[🔔Update] - FALL HIATUS and FUTURE PROJECTS
Posted 3 years agoIf you're a commissioner, future commissioner, or someone who enjoys my character, Comet, this journal is for you! I'll make it short.
That being said, I will likely need to take those few months more-or-less 'off'. I may still take commissions beforehand for funds needed for the event.
Depending on how it all goes, I may either smoothly transition back to work as normal, or there may be some bigger life changes on the horizon that will put me out of service for a while. I'll know by October.
Lastly- normally I don't plug this on journals, but money is going to get increasingly tight as the year goes on. If you have even $5 to spare each month, please consider nabbing a monthly donation slot for my ko-fi server! The small amounts add up over time, and helps keep me from overworking myself and burning out as much.

COMET GROWTH DRIVE:
Some time this spring or early summer, I'll be doing another Drive! This time focusing on Comet, and focusing on tail growth, size growth, and a little belly action maybe ;3 Comet is more of a micros kind of pred, so there will be more focus on size-play and tail content than belly content.FALL HIATUS:
In mid-September, I'll be dealing with a big life-change which will stretch all the way to another event in early November. Preparations will stretch about two weeks before and after this. These events will be high-stress and high-emotion, and there's likely going to be a lot of bumps involved, and that's speaking optimistically.That being said, I will likely need to take those few months more-or-less 'off'. I may still take commissions beforehand for funds needed for the event.

Myu FEEDING DRIVE! 🔔

As 2021 came to a close, I got the inexplicable urge to try something new in the coming months. So... sometime this month [January], I'll be starting a Myu feeding/growth/fluffyness??? drive!

Don't know what that is? Basically, it's a fund-raiser where a new vore-related picture [in a sequence] gets made each time a milestone is hit.
Examples: 1 2 3 4 5

Each $1 = 1 lbs in the drive. So some people can donate a dollar, while others can put more in if they want to see milestones get hit faster.
Here's the tiers!
$1-$9: No perks
$10: You decide if Myu gets chubbier, bigger, or fluffier
$20: Gets you mentioned in the description + previous bonus
$40: Gets an accessory of your choice [from your sona or OC] put in the next picture + previous bonuses
- AND as a bonus: each new picture will feature an auctioned slot where their character will get to be in the next image! Originally it was going to be for $200, but I realized that could result in multiple OCs being put in the same image, which would get overwhelming. So there will be 1 slot auctioned each new image, starting bid at $100.
I have 3 commissions to finish before I start the drive, so expect it some time this month! For financial planning/transparency, here's the milestones planned:

Concerning Commissions opening up again: My loose plan is to open some time in February! This may get pushed back a little by work or life, but that's the ballpark goal.
I've also scheduled artwork for the first part of the year, so my bi-monthly Saturday Morning uploads will continue, sprinkled with some personal art now and then. I've specially scheduled a bunch of Myu art to post in January, to get people more familiar with the fluffy wyrm boi.

IMPORTANT COMMISSION UPDATE
Posted 4 years agoI've received so many good ideas, I'm putting an experimental system in place.
I'll only be choosing 3 commission slots off the bat, BUT, after those are done, I'll be choosing 3 new slots from the existing apps.
I've now added a question at the end of the application. It basically asks "do you want to be kept in the pool of commissions if the artist takes on more applications after the first batch?"
Some people may not have the money later, so I've offered the option to opt-out of this. I know some people may have the money now, but not in a few weeks or a month, so I don't want to assume everyone would be okay with being kept in a sort of 'waiting list.'
I'll be contacting people once I choose slots on wednesday, and if I didn't choose your application, but I want to draw your commission, I'll notify you with an email that you can be added to a queue. You'll only need to reply if you DON'T want to be put in a queue.
This system is experimental, so apologies for any bumps along the way!

Prepping to OPEN COMMISSIONS! [📢 IMPORTANT 4 CLIENTS]

Yes you heard right, after 3 years [holy shit has it really been that long?], I'm finally prepping to open commissions again.
When? This month.
I've been dumping art here to help prep my gallery, and to share more art of the Starstruck Cast since they [and others] will be available to 'rent' for my commissions. You can request certain characters to be included in your commission idea, if you want. All the details will be in the open commissions journal, which I'm formatting today.

I don't know how many slots I'll open at first, as I need to ease into this so I don't burn out again. I'm aiming for 2-3, though, and if I finish those quickly enough, I'll open up again.
Lastly, a biiiig thank you to everyone that's stuck around through all the dry spells, the ups and downs, and the really ugly last two years. My supporters on Ko-fi and Patreon have quite literally kept me afloat through two of the worst years of my life, and allowed me to reach the point where I could finish my queue and open up commissions again.
Here's to the future that you guys helped make possible through your patience, love, and support! And here's to more art to come.

May-July Update
Posted 4 years agoThings haven't been very eventful in the art-zone, real life has been super busy and stressful. Didn't have a tablet pen properly for almost all of May, until a very kind soul sent me a new tablet last week.
Still really not feeling like drawing, as real-life problems have taken a huge toll on me mentally, but I'm hanging in there. I wanted to open up commissions this month, or in July, but they might be delayed till later-summer. Gives people more time to save up, but I also know many peeps are very eager to get a slot.
I'll keep you all updated when I plan to open commissions. For now, I'm just riding things out till real life stressors calm down a bit.
[There's a possibility that they won't calm at all for a while. If they don't, I'll have to move out my gf to our home, which will be a huge toll on time and emotions. We're hoping it doesn't come to this, but it's a very real possibility in the next month or two.]

Regarding Deleted Comments
Posted 4 years agoAs more people interact with my work, my moderation for comments must be implemented more frequently. I've seen some people misunderstand my intentions when posting a piece or titling it a certain way, so I'm going on record saying that the following comment types [from strangers especially] may be subject to hiding/deleting without warning:
- You're a Minor interacting with NSFW art
- Attempting to roleplay [responding to the title or description as if it's a roleplay prompt, or 'talking to the character' in the piece.]
- Overly horny
- Weird vibes
- Gross or skewing the purpose/intention of the piece [Being generally uncouth or pushing your own [unwanted] interpretation on the piece against my preferences. Example: pushing a Fatal Digestion interpretation on an endo piece]
- Pushing kinks onto an unrelated art piece [Example: Saying 'I hope they eat them' on a non-vore size difference post]
- Hateful or ignorant [Constructive criticism doesn't count]
I've had very little moderation in the past, to avoid conflict. However, I'll be curating the environment around my work more thoroughly moving forward, and I am not afraid to use the Block button if someone is a repeat offender.
If you have any genuine questions or concerns, leave a comment on this journal. I'll be as clear as I can.

This does mean Commission Slots won't open for a while, but I need to get the old art out of the way first while I transition into taking commissions again.
There's over ten YCH's on the backburner waiting to be sold, and once they're all listed off, I'll be opening commission slots! I'm aiming for a Spring/Summer return for those, so keep an eye out for it!
Also trying to be more frequent with updates, so expect more journals in the future. I'll continue to use my Journal Importance Scale. BUT I'm adding a new rank to the list!

[🔔Update] Art for 2021 + Future Commission Slots + He...

Buuut if you'd like to get ahead of the curve, I am still actively running a Discord art server for Patreon and Kofi supporters. It's got tons of old art I don't plan on reposting, sketches and Wips I don't plan to post, along with everything recent I've done.

HEADS-UP though: I will not open regular slots right away. After I finish the current two comms I have, I'll be working through my list of old YCH's that I never posted/auctioned. There's vore, sizeplay, tf, and a few other juicy tidbits, so keep your eyes peeled for that.~

I'll be spending a large portion of today queuing up old art and commissions to my FA- seeing as there's a CRIMINAL lack of uploads here. My goals for this year are simple.
1: Have a better work/life balance. [Do less commissions every month and don't burn myself out. Work 3/4 weeks a month and take 1 off each month.]
2: Stick to my prices.
3: Get back to writing. [Finish at least arc 10 of the story Corrie and I are working on together.]
All of these are completely doable, and feed into one-another. If I can stick to my prices, I'll work less. If I work less, I can write more. This is all I want out of this year, realistically.
On to 2021, everyone. It'll still have shit in it, but at the very least, here's hoping we can make it brighter than the cess pool we just dealt with.

[💥 URGENT ] - AWAY FROM HOME TO QUARANTINE
Posted 5 years agoMy roommate's family are a bunch of assholes, and it's very likely my roomie has Covid now. They'll likely be fine, as they're generally healthy, but I cannot expose myself to it.
I'll be leaving home while they quarantine, and I'll be staying with my family for a period of time. As such, my plans to completely finish my queue by tomorrow have been delayed. January is shaping up to be a little bit of a bastard, so expect delays and a lack of comms opening.
I will likely not be active starting the 3rd, and I'm unsure how long I'll be gone.
Updates will come as soon as they can.

Short version: With the Iron Artist in 2018, I got backed up so far on owed work that I was doing it till July 2019. Patreon rewards stacked up while I tried to do my IA, and then once 2020 hit, I was kicked to the ground and held down.
In the past month, I kicked my own ass and completely caught up on any and ALL art that had been previously paid for, and was due/owed.
As such, unfortunately new work was put on the sidelines. Now that I've finally caught up, I'm moving forward with any projects that were ordered from me early this year.

[🔔Update] Migrating to Ko-Fi + Discord Server!

TL;DR- I've moved my Patreon-only content to a discord server where I'll continue to post exclusive content/wips/videos for people that transfer their pledge from Patreon to Ko-fi. Aka I'm gonna dunk you all into the trash can that I call home and show you all my gremlin-y doodles.
If you sign up for a monthly Ko-fi sub, you'll get the same perks you got on Patreon, you'll just find my art on a Discord server instead.

So with the legal stuff going on with Patreon [look up 'patreon lawsuit' if you want deets], I'm making the gradual transition over to Ko-fi + Discord to replace it. I know I've been really slow with content lately between injuries and other nonsense, and I apologize.
But let's get to the point- Starting next month [September 1st], I'll be officially moved over to Ko-fi. Ko-Fi is a donation + Monthly support site that takes 0% out of a creator's donations that go straight to paypal. The only drawback is that Ko-Fi does not allow any adult content. The work-around?
A Discord server!
Discord is easier to upload pictures and sketches to on the fly, categorize art, and add quick emoji 'reactions' to posts and pictures you like. And, you can always mute it if you don't want notifications. The one caveat is that people will not be able to chat in the server. I don't get a lot of comments on my posts as it is so there isn't much loss there- but the main reason for no chatting between members is to avoid any possible conflict, drama, etc.
There are rules in place that include, but are not limited to:
- No sending random DM's to other members
- No harassing other members for their presence there
- No sharing/reposting Discord-exclusive content
I will be discontinuing posting on Patreon starting September 1st. I've already put all my old Patreon content up to the most current post, on my Discord Server, PLUS a lot of other content I found in my folders that I never posted on Patreon.
I greatly encourage anyone who'd still like to support me to make the transition over to ko-fi! BUT before you do, please note so you don't get confusing charges:
- Drop your Patreon pledge BEFORE September 1st
- Wait until next month [September 1st and beyond] to pledge monthly to Ko-Fi
- Whatever day of the month you start your Ko-fi subscription on is the date you'll be charged monthly [so pick a day of the month you like best]
- None of my activity on my Ko-fi can be fetish/nsfw. So don't let the lack of Ko-fi page content fool you -> the real action is on the Discord Server.

Health Update
Posted 5 years agoJust a quick July Journal to update the situation from this journal: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9494572/ that I made back in May.
The dementia-like symptoms have eased, but still linger from day to day. The memory issues are not as bad, but of course are still causing issues from day to day. I can at least remember things I do from hour to hour, mostly.
However it's looking like the likely cause for most of my distress and problems is that I have serious Dopamine Receptor damage. For those who don't know what that means- basically my brain is currently severely incapable of experiencing pleasure, or feeling rewarded for doing small tasks. My brain is not processing the 'good feel chemical' that makes DOING things feel rewarding or make you happy. So because of this, I've been unable to get positive feedback in my head for things as simple as eating good food, cleaning, playing with my pet, talking to friends, drawing, writing, etc.
That wears down on a person fast, when all your efforts to do fun or enjoyable things you love is met with numbness in your head.
Being aware of it now, I'm doing my best to take time and be patient with it. Dopamine Receptor repair and recovery can apparently take as much as 12-16 months... which is oof, not great. This has already been going on for 8 months, now. The constant stress of current situations hasn't exactly helped. I'm hoping that I'll see improvement once all this is settled. For now, it's been. REALLY tough to deal with. I keep trying to get back to drawing and working on comms people are waiting on, but it feels literally impossible when your head is incapable of being motivated on a basic chemical level.
I offer again- if you ordered a commission and want to cancel it, PLEASE let me know right now. Once I get back to work, I won't be able to take cancellations because I'll need the income. So I'm offering the monthly 'cancel while you can if you want to.'

Small health + Patreon update [June 14th]
Posted 5 years agoJust updating to say that my dementia-like symptoms [Detailed here: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9494572 ] have seen some notable improvement. I'm nowhere near 'back to normal', but I've seen some small changes. The issues I'm suffering from supposedly take about 4 months to fully recover from. So, I'm looking towards August as the cautiously-hopeful date for major improvement compared to April and May.
My Patreon has received a small update as well: Because I recently removed the $100 tier from my page, I added a smaller $50 one for people who want to show a bit more support. It's possible that I may offer merch with my characters on it in the future, as Patreon now offers merch-selling capabilities. This won't be for quite a while, but I would love to design some hoodies and other items.

[📢 IMPORTANT 4 CLIENTS] - PAST ANIMATION ORDERS
Posted 5 years agoIF YOU ORDERED AN ANIMATION/ANIMATED ICON FROM ME IN THE PAST, PLEASE READ THIS JOURNAL:
To cut down on my queue and to clean up a good few commissions that either slipped through the cracks, or have been waiting forever to get in the queue: I'm cancelling all past animation orders I have received.
For concerned onlookers- nothing has been paid for on these orders. These were animation commissions that people came to me about a long time ago, and that were put on a waiting list for the future.
I'm having to do quite a few renovations to my queue and how I run my business, as I've been running it into the ground and Backlog-Hell for years now.
No more waiting lists, no more under-the-table orders. Not even for friends.
So if you had an UNPAID Animation order waiting to be made, it has been officially marked off the queue. [This includes animated Icons] I apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience. Rest assured I wished to get to each and every order I had, but I have to be more realistic, moving forward.
