Here's the deal, I'm stuck on all this stuff I'm working on. I've got a lot of really great ideas on stuff, but I can never really get past the idea/ planning stage. I've got all this stuff for lots of different things; novels, video games, comics, costumes and props... But I can't seem to find the next part goes. It feels like I've only got half the puzzle, like there is something missing that keeps me from going forward. After contemplating on it for weeks (on and off when I remember what I'm supposed to be contemplating) I figured it out: I AM only half the puzzle. I need someone to work with. Not just a sound board to bounce ideas and stuff off of, I have one of those, but a partner who can fill in the other half of the puzzle. Not a life partner or a mate and all that jazz, but a business partner of sorts.

So basically what I need is someone with a lot of drive but no direction to be the opposite of me; a crap tonne of direction but no drive. Someone who I can work with to maybe start a profitable venture. Finding one of those is gonna be uber difficult of course. But I'm willing to try my luck and see what's out there.

So, with my work schedule as it is, I'm looking for something to do during the weekends and my favorite pastime happens to be d20 games. So I'm looking for people near me to play with on Saturdays. If yer in the area and free that day, send me a buzz and we'll get a group together.

Wouldn't mind finding a few drinking buddies either.

Well, due to some rather depressing things that have come up I do not believe that I will be able to attend this years AC. Sucks something major but unless I win the lottery here in the next three weeks it just isn't very likely to happen. I'm still gonna try, but I don't think it will.

So I finally finished the damn program and passed my final exam. I am now a CLT: Certified Logistics Technician!

So just passed my CLA (Certified Logistics Associate) evaluation with a 96%. I'm so happy I'm gonna go get me some Ben & Jerry's and something booze related to celebrate!

Having a fantastic time here regardless of the harassment from the girls volleyball people. I've had a wonderful weekend filled with great people, great art, great panels, great suits and great drinks. I may or may not get back into suit but if you wanna stop me and talk, please feel free. So, after dealing with them for a long while I have decided it's time to give up the ghost with my current gaming group. The bs from one player and the paranoid no-win game style of the gm has finally gotten so old I can't stand it. So if there is anyone in the Tacoma/seattle WA area who plays dnd 3.5 or pathfinder I would love to petition you for a spot in your group.

I have been called many things in my life, not all of them pleasant. But after watching the video my sister sent me, I can't wait to hear this one: Uncle.

So um, yeah. Looks like the guys I was going to be staying with at FC won't be going this year. Thus I'll have to find some other accommodations. Anyone out there looking for another split on the rooms? I'm actually quite use to sleeping on the floor at cons and my standard con gear comes with a single person inflatable mattress for my use. I tend to only need a corner for my stuff and my fursuit isn't all that large, as you've seen in my photos. I'd be willing to pay the split on the first day (helps so I don't spend it) and when I'm not in the room I'd clean up my stuff to keep it out of the way. I'm also fairly quiet and don't snore (least no one has ever said that I do) and extremely courteous. Send me a PM if you re willing to put up a satyr for the weekend, or know someone who is.

So I finally worked out all the details on my new car, and I can drive it now! Took me like 10 minutes to do and thats only cause the chick's computor was being slow on the other end. Should have done it a week ago, but halloween keeps me busy. Anyway, I can now drive my gorgeous little car with extremely low milage! So happy!

I, and I'd wager a fair bit of you have this issue as well, have trouble going to bed at a decent hour. So often I am up late reading something or another, working on a project or playing a game. It is in these late hours that my cat Backpack spends his time with me. When in view of anyone else he pretends to hate me, often nipping at my heels or point blank ignoring me. But when he thinks no one is looking, he'll give me one of a cat's sweet affection gestures. He'll rub his cheek against my legs, give me a quick lick, or simply purr cause I'm there. Ay night he'll come into my room, find a comfy spot on the floor (usually involving some laundry I didn't feel like picking up) and sleep while I fool around on the internet. Usually right next to my chair.
It is these simple things that shows he cares about me, and not as a source of food and water. With whats been going on in my life, with my cousins proving how horrible they really are (and mentally unstable), someone who we had taken in and for years I considered a brother practically betraying my family which of course since I'm the one who convinced them to help hitting me really hard with that, being threatened to be thrown out of my home for imagined things, it feels good to have someone who cares for me like so. Someone who isn't trying to get something out of me (well he tries for blood often but can you really hold that against a cat?). Who loves me simply because they do. He may not be the most affectionate or sociable cat, but he's here with me and that is all that matters.
For this I love my grumpy plump and shedding kitty.

So after my symptoms failed to go away, in fact got worse I decided to go to the clinic. I then found out why I've been suck a sickly sapped sulking sardonic satyr; Turns out I have epididimytus, which is an infected tube just above the teste. Fun times I know. I'm in the later stages of it, which is why I've been living every satyr's worse nightmare which is consistantly painful balls in addition to the fever and all that. Good news though the condition is not at all fatal and easily treated. Just some antibiotics and some painkillers. So I should be my normal sarcastic sexy self in a few days.

AC was great, got lots of art I will be putting up tomorrow. But for now, I sleep. Very tired, hate planes with a passion, hate driving in (cramped to the point coach on the plane was roomier) backseats and wanna pass the fug out on my own uber fluffed and cat fur covered... over I'm gonna clean up some of that before I get into my bed. Buuut, LOOKIT THE NEW ARTZ TOMMORROW!

So, while my friends were supposed to get a room in the westin, they lost our reservation and we're in the omni. Oh well, life happens. A good example of that is on my back to my room to crash for the night (slept from 9:30pm to 1pm whoo!) my hoof caught on the doorframe and I hurt my ankle. It's feeling better as I write this, but I may not be in suit as much as I'd like. But you can find me in my heartless kilt and black bracers wandering about.

I find it odd at how few posters there are for parties posted around the place. I was looking forward to getting my groove on and having a good time. Booze or no booze. Booze would be nice, I am a satyr and irish even, so booze is always welcome. But simple hanging out and chatting would be nice.

So come up, say hi, gimme a hug and start up a conversation. A party invite would be AMAZING! (I'd pitch in for booze)

I'm so excited for AC! I'm gonna be with friends, gonna go to room parties and get drunk and gonna have TONS of sex! I'm bouncing off the walls here and that isn't something I do often. I don't think I'm gonna sleep tonight! Which is actually kind of a good thing since I have like an 8 hour flight with a total of three hours in layovers. It'll make me nice and tired for the trip.

I expect to see all my adoring fans there at the con with gifts in hand! Why? Cause I'm that delusional ^_~

So all I need to do is let my kilt dry, attach my heartless sporran and pack it in underneath my hooves and I'm all set for AC. Whoo! First time in a long time that I'm not rushing things the night before. Of course due to the kitchen remodeling and all that I wasn't able to make half the props I wanted to for this years magic academy theme, but hey what can you do?

Anyway, I'll be lodging up with some friends of mine, but will probably be wandering the con most of the time. You won't be able to miss me, I'm always like the only satyr at these things. Which gives me a sad face but PLEASE feel free to prove me wrong. Come up and lemme get a picture of ya, maybe a grope or two ^_~.

I'm trying to design a satyr penis for various reasons. One cause I'd like to submit it to bad dragon so I can get myself a fun toy. Two cause a friend of mine is making a gay fantasy creature art book and wants to do close ups of the cocks of some of the critters. And three just to say I did. However it seems to be impossible to find a decent pic of a goat's penis to use for this. And I even have an animal anatomy book. Oh I can find lots of pics of them in supermarket packages ready to be cooked and eaten, but not on the friggen animal for a good comparison. To those who watch me, and I do apologize for all the bitching I do, if you know of a good reference could ya help?

So, I basically rage quit my dungeons and dragons group last night, finally sick of a know-it-all powergamer's bullshit that he pulls whenever he doesn't get his way. So this has been bugging me, and I wanna get someones opinion on it. We were playing our weekly session of 3.5 dnd, and we started a new game. Five minutes in, the two warforged artificers were killed cause they decided that they could survive the hit from the 16ft croc so they didn't care about provoking attacks of opportunity. So they had to make new charactesrs. They decide to make parodies of Steve Erwin (some kind of grappling build) and A survivalists named Bear something. Always has tea made from things I don't wanna mention.

Anyway, they come into town and have a meal in the tavern where my character is eating and trying to dig a tooth out of his sternum. They acted weird talking to no one in particular (like they were talking to a camera) so I moved away. Talked to the barkeep about some caves that had been hinted at and followed up on some leads. Hearing 'caves' they follow. Out of character I was fine with this cause I wanted to get them in the party so we could go beat stuff up and get treasure. Daddy needs a concussive maul. However, when I found someone who knew about the caves (why does the barbarian who has a -2 to diplomacy and max ranks in intimidate roll three natural 20's on diplomacy in a roll?) they come up to us with maybe 15 or so feet between. Now this is where it gets interesting.

(mind you I'm paraphrasing with the dialog) "So it eats with utensils, pays for it's meal, wears a very masterfully crafted chain shirt and clothing, wields an obscenely large hammer and talks in a civil and polite tone to people."
"Right but it's kinda blue colored so lets throw a fish at it to see if it's intelligent then talk over our shoulders about how we're testing to see what this strange animal is."

The guy I was talking to ran away when the fish was thrown at the guy he knew could fly off into a rage and was INCREDIBLY hard to hurt. So I made a point to step on the fish and grind it into the ground as I pointedly ignored them and walk off to find someone else to talk to. They made a comment about how I was obviously not intelligent because I had just ruined precious nutrients.
And got mad when I raged and attacked.
