Raffle! A free 3D Model!? Mon dieu!
Posted 5 years agoSince this is my first raffle and I'm doing it for a greater reason, I must have a long text attached to it to properly explain my reasons. But first, straight to business:
*How do I participate?

Congratulations, you're participating. The winner will be announced at the 23rd of this month, a date I will postpone if for some reason there are still a lot of people applying for it. Meanwhile, I'll keep working on my current fox project so stay tuned for updates!
*What are you offering?
A 3D model of a character. I'm looking to study and get better on those. It doesn't have to be an anthro, it could be a human, elf or whatever, but honestly? There are plenty of good models for those available already, so a furry, scaly or avian sounds better but hey, a winner is you! I'll try my best at whatever you request.

My knowledge on 3D is a little limited at the time so it can't be something too complicated for me to work with, but I'll surely try my best!
Modeled, lightly sculpted and then with retopology applied. Textured and rigged. I'll even play with shaders. Everything beyond that will depend on what I'm looking to study and learn and how much time I'm willing to spend on it for free. I promise a lot of work, though! I can't do anything super sculpted or heavy on particles thanks to some limitations on my computer over here but I may or may not have access to a better machine for a few days. We'll see!
No requesting for other people's OCs without their proper authorization. You can freely hand over your prize as a gift to a friend, if you wish. Canon characters from shows are okay, I can give them a try!
* Why this raffle?
There's no putting it gently: I'm in a pickle. The pandemic hit me hard. I managed to keep my head above the water for the past few months without a job, but now the situation has become a little more dire. For the first time I really know debt and I need a little extra money or I will be in big trouble soon.
Yes, the raffle is for free, don't worry! It won't cost you a penny to participate. My goal here, however, is to call for people's attention to my patreon and other sites where I post my work so maybe I'll find a few good souls to help out with donations or pledges on patreon (it's but 5$, folks!).
I'm also using this opportunity to advertise about my work as a therapist. If you have a good friend that is in need of someone professional to talk to, or if you need it yourself, consider getting in touch with me! The dollar or euro ratio, in comparison with my local coin, is next to 6 these days. I can charge very low prices and still be well compensated so it's a win-win!
That high ratio between coins make for every donation in dollar or euros to be extremelly helpful, no matter how low they may seem at first. The Virus and how you may help!
Posted 5 years agoThis virus is affecting us all. Some more than others, but we are all in some sort of trouble. I, who had trouble finding work when people could go out, am at a loss once more now that everything is under lockdown. Once more I find myself in the need of requesting for solidarity and help from you. I know most people are not comfortable about just handing over money, but if you'll lend me one more minute of your attention, that's not what I'm asking for here!

Earlier in December I sent a distress beacon here on my journal, asking for monetary help and support on patreon. Both friends and unknown strangers came to my aid and I couldn't be happier. Though the money donated and those who became my patreons didn't make me rich, they provided me with what I desired the most for that month of Holidays and also my birthday: Peace of mind.
Though I didn't manage to treat myself to anything spectacular for my birthday, with that money and some jobs that showed up I manage to pay all of the bills and manage to stay just above the line in the bank so I wasn't in the red with The System, nor was I in need of asking for money from my family (catholics can get kinda controlling when they managed to get an advantage over you...).
Instead of being a depressed butt locked in my bedroom all month, not only I managed to work with 3D and draw/study a lot, but I also kept myself busy with my old family house. I helped clean it, paint part of it and prepare it for the family visiting during Christmas! That kept me away from producing even more on 3D and digital art, but it was invigorating and heart warming.
I can barely find the words to say how thankful and honoured I am with this. You people saved my sorry ass from deep trouble, which allowed me to kick back and relax during my Birthday and Christmas. That piece of mind you people got me? Priceless! I managed to start this new year with renewed energies and I intend to make the most of it. Hopefully this means lots of porn for you!
Now, how will I pay the incoming bills for the month of January? I have no idea, but I'll figure something out! I have until the 15th to find a solution and I'm searching high and low for more work or a regular job, I'm also counting with more people being interested in my Patreon. It's just 5 bucks! You might notice how good your heart and mind feel, when you know that just a few dollars from you means someone's next dinner!
Hopefully my own line of work and patreon/donations will suffice, because another kind of job, though welcomed to pay the bills and put food on the table, would keep me from drawing and modeling a lot. When you guys lend a hand, then I can be more available to get better and produce more for your entertainment! And we all want that~

Merry Christmas!
Posted 6 years agoHello all! I haven't been updating things because... People won't let me work! It's 'clean the house' here and 'help me paint the wall' there, but now and on my birthday, two days from now, I'll be posting things I'll be working on hard during these days!

A plead for help!
Posted 6 years agoThank you very much for listening to me! I am not very proud of doing this, but I'm not ashamed either. I need help and I'm asking for it. I'm brazillian and if you check your international news, you'll see that things are not going well down here. I fell into a Limbo where I simply can't find a job.
I have specialized into the healthcare area and work with Eastern therapies such as Ayurveda and Acupuncture. Sadly, people down here are so short on money that they stopped using such services because they tend to believe it's "Spa day" stuff and not something to be taken seriously. Apparently taking care of your health is only good when there are pills and surgery involved...
Since that's what I have experience with and apparently to get into the walled city of work you first need to have worked... I am not finding anyone willing to hire me, even for the temporary work available during the holidays. I don't think I can make enough for the bills this month and the next and that's scarying me. The end of the year/beginning of the year is the worst period for me to work because people spend all of their money and then some on other things.
Here I am, asking you not for a new videoboard, drawing tablet or cellphone, but for some change that could help me keep up with the basics, such as electricity and water. The 27th of this month is my birthday and all I'm asking is for some tranqulity and peace of mind during christmas and my special day, knowing that in the long run I can actually keep up with the bills. All I'm asking is for the capacity of resting my head a little during that special time of the year.

I won't tell you that what may seem a small amount for some can be a massive help for me, because you already know that by now. For the price of a fast food combo that will damage your health, you could instead be a big help for a brazillian person suffering with this nazi we call a president and his destructive economics.

IT'S OVER ONE THOUSAAAAAND! *Breaks something*
Posted 12 years agoWoah, that magical number... I'm finally there =D I have over 1000 page views! Surely, this doesn't means anything spectacular, but for a silly amateur like myself achieving such a thing has an important meaning! To me it means I'm getting somewhere, that what I did wasn't a waste of time and that there are people out there that are actually interested in where is it that I'm going with my work!
I am aware that around 80% of that number is probably me and my friends who visited the page and all, but it still gives you the feeling that there is someone out there expecting your next piece. It gives you the feeling that some random stranger out there actually cares about your evolution and improvement, and that is certainly some good fuel for someone like myself, a person that gets depressed quite often and abandons everything for the sake of being a cry baby. Those numbers on my page really make me feel hopeful for a future I will enjoy.
I am here thanking all of my friends who have been visiting my page and all of you random strangers that saw my page and thought 'This guy has some interesting ideas, I'll watch him and see where he gets'. I also am thanking you, probable person that watched me just for the sake of giving me a courtesy for watching you. Every new number that gets into my screen is a small step I give towards something greater. One day, for all of you that have been watching me since this point where the quality of my work is poor, I hope you can say "Damn, I remember this guy a few years back, he really improved over time!", just like I do with many artists I have been following for years now.
Well, it is time to plan a special piece to celebrate that special number and to start working on it so there are no big delays! Again, thank you all very very much for that honor and I'm hungry for the 2000 mark~ And downright greedy to add one more zero to that counter!
