Work Update! 1/29/25
General | Posted 10 months agoTLDR: Health problems and tech problems mostly resolved
Howdy,
Hoping to be getting back to steady work and posting again soon! For those in my patreon server, they get the most regular updates, as well as are the first to see anything I finish! But I figured I needed to do a little update for FA since posting has been so haphazard.
Computer broke.... so I was using my laptop, which slowed work. Then I finally got a new computer, right before a trip. Got to my destination out of state and laptop broke. So almost 2.5 weeks of nearly no work. Got a new laptop, & now im home safe! And all of that sprinkled with wrist issues, which I still havent been seen for because my insurance ended my coverage and I had to figure all that out. Now I ?maybe? have insurance but I need to find a doctor. Wish me luck, America is.... ya know.
Anyways, I hope yall are having a better start to the new year. And if youre in the same country as me, well, uh lets hang in together the best we can. Im sure youre just as sick of the constant horrible news, so lets just try to keep it positive where we can.
Have a good one, Furries.

Commissioning Guide (for the shy or unsure)
General | Posted 4 years ago(Taken directly from my Patreon discord channel, because I think it might be helpful for some people or ease some people's minds about if they are doing things correctly!)
"
Someone told me they didn't know how to commission someone- Well if you're not sure! Here it is!
Here is the low down:
1) You check to see if they are open, if you're not sure you can just ask! It's even nicer if you even ask for exactly what you'd like such as "Hey are you open for commissions? I would really like to get a full-body picture of my sona drinking tea." (That way they can judge if they have enough time to schedule you in!)
2) If they say yes, you just toss them any additional information they need. Refs (always spoiler and tag NSFW/nude content. (such as "/spoiled image/ The image has exposed bits and wanted to warn you" Asking if they are okay to send before you do is always good to practice!) as well as info such as heights (if more than one person, it doesn't have to be exact it can even just be "this character is taller!") body type (if the ref doesn't include it, or if the ref is unclear) and any other information you want to include.
3) It's also really helpful if you give direct bullet points such as:
-drinking tea
-wearing Hawaiian shirt like (image)
-can you include their glasses? they look like this (image)
If you can keep it quick and concise, it is easier for them to get all the info they need at a glance.
If you can tell them EVERYTHING in one go, its the best, but if you forget something its okay to mention it asap
(preferably before lining stages)
4) It might help to think of it like ordering from a restaurant:
You don't have to worry about being friends, just friendly and polite & you don't have to win an artist over or idolize them! They are just people
5) READ THE TOS FROM FRONT TO BACK, TWICE.
6) If they haven't messaged a week before the turnaround end time (Ideally on their TOS, mine is 1 month unless something comes up) I'd pop a lil message asking how it's going. OR if they sent a wip, but haven't sent another wip. Its okay to say "Hey! Just wondering about my commission "
ALSO: If their prices are too high once you find them, its totally okay to say "That's out of my price range for right now, thank you for your time "
It is TOTALLY okay to say that, over just ghosting them
Hope that help if anyone isn't sure, is nervous, or if you wanted to look for how to do it a little easier
ADDING 1 MORE THING. Please make sure refs are as accurate as possible! If you like clawed toes, add it to the ref! Body types and heights and general face shapes! Adding little notes to your ref is GREAT. It will save the artist time and frustration, either by not making them wait for answers or redrawing whole images. If you like a past piece they have done it's okay to show them that and say what parts you liked about it. "I love the way you did the face in this pic, if you could incorporate an expression like that, it would be fantastic"
"
If you have any questions or helpful tips you would like me to add, please let me know!

Bad
General | Posted 5 years agoHad to block someone who followed me on here who had nazi military fanart (they turned off the comments for it, so someone probs called them out for it) Just a reminder that my content isnt for nazis, nazi sympathizers or people who idealize nazis. I cant believe thats something I have to say.
Its fine to be interested in a historical event or time period as long as you understand the atrocities that came with them. The pic was literally them in an unmarked SS uniform with a friend in a tank, cheerfully greeting ground troops. I just?? I cant see that in any other light than "Nazis were cool, I want to get a picture of my sona being one" especially when there was no other explaination for the art besides "heres some art" and no comments.
I cant believe Im gonna have to add that to my "dont follow me if" list

TOS
General | Posted 6 years agoSteamed Vegetables Commission ToS
By Commissioning Steamed Vegetables (henceforth referred to as ‘the artist’) you agree to the following terms. Refusal to follow the terms below after they have been agreed upon will result in blacklisting.
1) Displayed base prices are subject to change per the complexity, difficulty, size and medium of each individual piece.
2) Clear and concise visual references and/or description of a commission idea must be provided by the Client. After which a preliminary quote will be provided by the Artist.
3) Payments must be made up front in full before preliminary work begins.
5) The Client must be over 18 years of age, no exceptions.
6) Critique and redline corrections for commissions above $50 are welcome to ensure the best result. Commissions under said price are considered as small works, and thus time revising sketches is not factored into the price.
7) The Artist reserves the right to reject critique and redline pertaining to artistic skill or style preference (i.e. anatomy, coloring style, etc.) if said critique reduces the artistic quality of the piece.
8) If the Client wishes to cancel their commission during the sketch stage they will be refunded 50% of what they paid.
9) If the Client wishes to cancel their commission during or after the coloring stage they will not be issued a refund.
10) Communications concerning the commission will take place on either Furaffinity or Twitter, no other forms of communication are permitted.
11) The Artist reserves the right to issue a refund and cancel a commission due to poor communication, rude or inappropriate behavior, or inability to communicate in effective English.
12)Clients are encouraged to contact The Artist when they feel it’s necessary for updates, assurance or reminders.
13) The Artist reserves the right to reject any commission for any reason.
14) The Artist retains the right to display all commissioned work on any personal website, gallery, or journal. If the commissioned work is a time-sensitive gift the Artist may delay public showcase at the request of the Client.
15) The Artist retains ALL the rights to the commissioned artwork, including the right to make prints and merchandise.
16) The Client retains all rights to their respective characters. This does not allow them rights to the commissioned image (see articles 14 and 15).
17) The Client may not profit from the artwork beyond the resale of a physical original painting or drawing (traditional media, not digital). This includes the sale of the digital files, or rights to the image.
18) The Client cannot alter the artwork itself. The Client may also upload the artwork to their personal website or gallery, but credit is required.
19) The Artist may recycle sketches & preparatory works that were rejected by the Commissioner for other commissions or personal works.
20) The Artist reserves the right to decline any commission for any reason prior to the coloring phase. A full refund will be given in this event.
21) Commission turn-around is generally a month unless otherwise specifically discussed. Refunds for the reason of wait time will be given in full only after two months of inactivity except on case-by-case basis.
22)The Artist reserves ownership of "filler" character designs made for the commission unless the designs were agreed upon as part of the commission itself. This includes recycling designs or selling them. The client may have a chance to purchase the design before it goes to the public, if requested.
23) The Client must read, understand and agree to all the above terms before entering into an agreement with the Artist. By sending payment, the Client agrees to the above terms.
