Fur Squared was so much fun this year! After two years of no conventions it was great to finally attend one again. I got to talk to lots of people and bought a bunch of cool things.

I got a lot of motivation to work on more things. I hope that for next year I can finally get stuff together to vendor again and I even want to try and have a panel there.

I will also keep doing more commissions and finally open up art badges again. This means I will either get my etsy up again or I'll just take orders through here.

Just some more updates on whats going on and what I'll be working on:

I have been a bit busy and have decided to stop the daily drawings. They were tons of fun but some days I just can't get on my computer long enough to really work on them the way I want. I will continue these once I get some more time.

I have also been working on a side business to get extra income so making all of those things is taking up time as well. I also have been learning new things and been crafting a lot so I havent been on my computer as often the last two weeks.

I am still conflicted on doing art or all of my crafting as more of a job so this year I am setting up my business and seeing how that goes. I still plan to draw a lot I just may not get more animations out. I keep going back and forth from crafting and animating so I don't ever get much done in both areas. I still love animation but I am so conflicted on what I want to do.

So basically my update is I am busy working on a few other things but I still will post art just not daily.

Hey! It’s been a while since I tend to drop off of FA for month then come back, so here’s some updates on things.

-I plan on moving with a friend in the next possible 4-8 months, so I am trying to do as many commissions as possible to get some money saved up. Lots of life changes are happening for me as well as searching for a new job so things have been a bit stressful, but I feel really motivated by all the changes.


-Commissions are open! As stated above I am going to need to save up as much money as possible in the next coming months. I’ll be posting some YCHs and just posting general art to try and show what I can do. So if you are interested I would love to work on some commissions.

Also just thinking of changing up some of the things I draw. I plan to do less chibi, though I am trying to redesign them since I’m not 100% happy with how they are now. I want to do things a bit different, so I’ll be posting some new styles and such, as well as things like more scene like images with the characters, drawing full backgrounds, doing more story in the pictures instead of just a character on a blank background. I have slowly been getting more into the fantasy genre more so I might post more images with that content.

I'm making a journal to explain some stuff about some new species, or I should say an array or different subspecies of stuff I am making. I'll probably be working on many animations and comics or just illustrations of these species. I don't have a name for them, nor a set design really, hence the subspecies or just a wide variety of variances. I have three main body types though that are separate species I guess. I'll be posting more about them soon and more images.

I already spoke with  lilaira and  sulacoyote about realizing my species are a bit close in design. Both said my species were alright. But then I went trough a lot of other artists I follow and just seeing others and I guess the combo of snout, body type, and tail stuff are quite common. Not sure if I got inspiration from some or all or what. I know I have been slowly developing these species though for roughly 5+ years. I also originally created them by combining a donkey and a rabbit, and it slowly evolved over the years to the way it is now too.

I finally made one!

I'm not a big social media person so it took me forever to make an account. Also someone claimed the plain name of steamthief so mine has a period in the middle. I went to aquatifur over the weekend and realized I should probably make one finally.

It will be my first year going. I am very excited because I've only ever been to Fur Squared and I am excited to see what other furry cons are like. I'll be staying for the whole weekend with some friends.

Sorry for the sudden inactivity when I just started to post again. I've had some free time and wanted to try and beat the game Horizon Zero Dawn. I had started it months ago and finally wanted to finish it. I love that game.

Also some stuff about Patreon. If you haven't heard I guess Patreon is changing their stuff again and in May will be raising the fees to 8%, but if you launch a page before May they will stay at 5%. So Sometime in April I will be launching my page but just as tip jar. I am looking into alternatives like ko-fi, subscribestar, and some others so if Patreon doesn't work out I'll let you know what I choose.

***ALSO! I just realized in my TOS on my website I had accidentally put something I wouldn't draw into the category of I will draw. This was it "-anything supporting hate or harm towards a group of people". I do not support that or draw that. Just wanted to clarify haha

Future Projects
I am planning on working on tons of animations, comics, and other works so hopefully I will stay on a consistent upload schedule here. I'm going to practice a lot of animations coming up and moving onto larger projects of animated shorts. I have a comic or two in planning so eventually I'll work on them.

Patreon will start up possibly late spring or during the summer. I may look into Ko-Fi first though or as an addition to Patreon. I'm still figuring out how I'm going to set up my Patreon. I've been so busy this last week!
I tried starting Inktober but failed after the 3rd day as I got so busy with everything else.

So sorry everyone I havent made any new content. I only made one animation and I'm saving that for Patreon. But the reason I haven't had much stuff done is that I finally have an art job! I got hired by someone to work on a webcomic, so I've been really busy sketching out all the pages and getting things ready for the start of it.

Patreon might be delayed or not put up at all for right now, and I may only open it once things start to slow down. Or I will put it up and just be a tip jar with hardly any content cause I may need some extra income since I am working for a low pay, but I'm glad for the opportunity and the exposure and the experience so I may use patreon just for that now.

I am excited that I am finally doing something I love as an actual job now though it wont be enough so I'll still be working on YCHs and other commissions inbetween. Thank all for sticking with me!

I have an account on tapastic and I am thinking of making some comics but have them more like a blog. I'll have one for sketches and work and one for animations. Having a upload date every week will help me keep on schedule making new things and practicing to get better.
I'm still working on my animation project but its slow since I tried animating in Photoshop and its not working very well for me and I am really bad at in-betweening in animation so I'm spending a lot of time making sure things look right.
I'll give more updates on all of my projects soon so keep a lookout for more pictures and journals.

I was going through my FA page, deleting older artwork, editing my profile info, deleting old and irrelevant journals, and I cam across a journal from about two years ago. It was my 100 watcher journal. And I looked at it and realized that in 2 years I have only gained 52 more watchers in those 2 years since. And looking at this journal its kind of made me feel a bit sad because I know it cause I am never very active. I am grateful that I have 152 watchers but i also notice that I don't get many views on my art pieces. But it also gave me some motivation in a sense. I realized that I haven't been doing enough to get noticed so I need to work harder than ever to get better. These last few months I have felt more motivated than I have in a very long time to actually get something done with my life. So I thank all of my watchers for sticking around and that I will be uploading much more content soon.

Once I finish the animation I will post it to YouTube and then start animating a whole lot more, whether that be re-animating anime clips or my own short animations I want to work on. I have finally got a new computer and holy crap I love it! I can actually do things on this one! I am still reinstalling all of my programs and transferring all of my old files to this one now. I'll start streaming on a weekly schedule soon as well, at least 2 days a week for a few hours each day. I'll mainly work on personal art or start working on all of my new projects.

That being said I have already started making a website for my new company idea but i still don't have a company name or logo yet, both of which I am still fleshing out. I'll be streaming those projects soon. Also I'll be setting up my Patreon soon, it will be at first set up for me but once I get my company finalized I'll switch it over to that. I will also be opening for commissions since I am again low on cash after my new computer. Ill keep posting updates and I'll also start posting lots of art and animations. I've been without a computer since the begging of December so I may take some time getting everything started again and trying out things on my computer.

I'm gonna remake my ref sheet for my fursona soon. Hopefully in a week or so. So yeah, my other one is really old.

Fursquared was totally awesome! I sold quite a bit of my things and actually left the con with money this time haha. It was pretty awesome seeing people walk around with the things I made. I will get some stuff posted on my FurCrafted page soon so people can see what I have to sell.

So, I'm gonna be opening commissions soon. I need to start making some money off of my art and also getting more portfolio worthy work made. I need more practice in getting better at being faster and better at my artwork.


After I got out of school I only go to enjoy the holidays and ever since the new year I've been preparing for these conventions so I haven't even been able to enjoy being out of school, and right after that I wanted to be able to actually focus on art I want to but of course my parents are bugging me about a real art job and I haven't even started on anything of my own. And I fell like I'm not ready for a real art job so I just want to do commissions for a while. That's why I'm also crafting to get some extra money. I have student loans to start paying back soon so I need to save up as much money as possible.

I also really want to work on animating and I know in order to practice that it will take a ton of time without making me money, and I like 2D animation very much, but my parents keep telling me that everything is 3D and I know it will be hard getting a 2D animation job but I want to do something I love and not settle doing a job I don't like. Idk, I may try doing some animation things for commissions too. I have so many ideas for animations and a graphic novel series I eventually want to make myself and so many things I wanted to learn about in school so I could make them but of course, my parents are saying I didn't go to school to learn to make my own things, that I went there just so I could work under someone else forever basically.

Ugh, just ranting, I just wish I could do what I want with my art skills and still make enough money too. But such is how the real world works...So yeah. I know things are gonna be hard for a while, maybe a few years until I can actually work on some things I want to. I just needed to rant a bit cause I'm worried about the real world haha.

So yeah, I'll be opening commissions probably towards the end of march so check back later or let others know about it. Sorry for the rant, I always feel better after talking about something.
