Posted 13 years agoFinally got our rooms for Anthrocon so me and Jacob will be going this year!! Jake has been to AC before but this will be my first time at AC as I usually attend FC. I'm so excited!!

New Fursona
Posted 13 years agoFor those of you that have known me as Kayla and/or Kaylee I have decided to change my fursona name and look. I've been wanting to do this for quite some time but haven't had the courage to do so. Everyone has known me as the cute little black kitty-fox Kayla and I have a fursuit of this character which made me hesitate to change because as you know fursuits are expensive. However, I have started a new chapter in my life and now is a good time as any to be who I actually want to be. I have moved cross-country to be with the love of my life. I've left my job, friends, and family behind, but couldn't be happier. It is time that I retire the fursona Kayla. Kayla was created by my EX and I no longer want to be associated with him through a fursona that he had named and whose coloring reflected his.
I now want to be known as Pufflit a nickname that I've had IRL for a long time. I will also no longer be black, but I am now a white, blonde hair, blue-eyed kitten. I know a lot of you will still refer to me as Kayla or Kaylee and that is okay. I've had that fursona name for a long time and it will be hard for people to see me differently and I understand that. I appreciate those that have been supportive to me in wanting to change my fursona. It wasn't an easy task to do because even though Kayla was created by my EX, I had grown to love being a black kitten. Even though I liked it, I knew it wasn't who I really was and it wasn't something that I would have chosen on my own. I know most of you are going to say, "but your black kitty-fox was so cute". Moving
Posted 14 years agoWill be moving to Connecticut in about 2 months to be with my love, Jacob. So excited!!! So I will no longer be an oregon/portland fur :P

Posted 14 years agoI did this last year where I just listed the top things that happened at the con. It's too hard and too long and boring to go through details of exactly what happened. Anyways, here's a list of my most memorable moments:
1. Falling asleep in Jacob's arms. It was so comforting to have his arms wrapped around me as I fell asleep.
2. Telling Drewby that one of the guys would look perfect in a white and red stripped shirt because he'd look just like Waldo!
3. Listening to Jacob order "Moobs over my Hammy" at Denny's. He did that on purpose to see if the waiter would notice. The waiter didn't notice but I still thought it was hilarious.
4. Going to take a shot of peppermint schnapps with PandaParty and taking forever to get to his room because Lena knew almost everyone at the con.
5. Having some guy come over to me and say "we're mates now". I didn't know who he was o.o Turned out we were part of a pack because he had a lot of "mates".
6. Telling Drewby that he wouldn't get drunk off of two tiny tequila and vodka chocolates because it only has like a drop of alcohol in it. But he ended up getting drunk and or buzzed anyway and was falling asleep drooling on himself. xD
7. Watching Drewby try to jump signs on our way to restaurants. He totally cleared the first one but then he biffed the next one.
8. Drewby and I making a tentacle monster out of balloons! It was epic!
9. Knowing that it was okay if my padding would show because a certain puppy would always pull my shirt down to make sure I was covered. <3
10. Riding on Drewby's back as he ran down the hall and the sidewalk. He runs fast while having someone on his back!

1. Obanik posing in his boxer briefs.
2. Lena making moaning noises in her sleep that I did voice record on my iPhone.
3. Lena asking Obanik if he was drunk and his reply was, "No, I only had two drunks".
4. Sabvriel surprising me at the bar.
5. Half asleep saying, "I don't think Nike is going to put a strip club here."
6. Bob telling us an epic nighttime story he made up as he went along.
7. Obanik farting in the bed and me saying "Oh yeah?" and making an even bigger fart. Obanik's reply to that, "Please marry me." lol
8. Every time I ran into Obanik he was eating. I can't forget the epic cheese sandwich with mozzarella sticks in it and a chicken steak with two slices of bacon on top he got for dinner the first night.
9. Being snuggled to sleep by Shade.
10. Digging at the laser pointer picture on the bed at the babyfur party. I almost had it!
And of course meeting new people and having a great weekend with all my furry friends!!

Posted 15 years agoI don't usually write journals because it takes time and no one hardly reads them, but I want to write this one because it's important to me.
I would like to state what I want in life...
For the most part I live a "normal" life, whatever that means to people. In other words, I go to work, I hang out with my real life friends and family, watch TV, movies, read books, play on the internet, play on my Wii, cook, go grocery shopping, play with cat, etc. Although I am a babyfur, I mostly am just myself. I occasionally wear diapers to bed especially if it's that time of month, and may suck my binky then to feel more babyish, but for the most part I'm just me, whatever that is. I have real friends that I hang out with, not furries, not babyfurs, but friends that like to go shopping, bowling, watch movies with.
So what I want in life is a mate that understands this...
I want a mate that has a REAL life, not just friends from SL or cons that are furry. I want a mate I can bring home to my family and can hang out with them and have fun with them. I do want a mate that understands my babyfur side, but doesn't view me as JUST that. I want to hang out on friday evenings with my mate, watching movies, drinking wine (or whatever he likes). I want to get married, and yes... bobkitty you may not like this but I WANT CHILDREN. Hello, I work with children, of course I'm going to want my own. Many babyfurs think that babyfurs shouldn't have kids. But for the most part I lead a semi-normal life. I want to raise a boy and a girl. I want to be a mommy and take them to the park and hold them when they get owies. Taking care of kids at work is fun, but I want my own. Something that I can call mine. I want a mate that also wants a family. I'd like a family man. I value family more than anything, and I want someone who feels the same. Family comes first. I would not introduce my babyfur side to my children either. It's not something I would want them to be. If they grew up that way I'd be fine, but I wouldn't raise them like that. I also would not raise them to be furries. I want them to be whoever they want to be. I would not bring them to cons. I see parents bring their children to cons and for me it's a place to have fun and bullshit and not a place I'd want to bring my kids to.
I'm saying this because most people that I date irl, don't know my furry side or babyfur side so in order to find someone that understands that I'd have to find someone online. Unfortunately, I'm coming to realize that most babyfurs or furries that don't mind babyfurs are only that. Either I'm not seeing the other side of them because they live far away, or that's all they talk about because it's something we have in common, but I don't see anything other than their furry side.
So I'm stuck in the middle of living my life and wanting someone who understands my furry side. I could just give up on finding someone who understands that and just date guys irl, but I don't like to keep secrets. Besides... now I have a fursuit. I almost have to go to cons now just so I can wear it. hehe.
All of you know I'm dating bobkitty so why am I talking about finding someone?
For one, bobkitty and I have only been dating a little while and I only know him from online. I do not know him irl. I'm not saying I'm not going to be with him forever, but at this point in time I do not know what the future holds for me. I still dream of Sabvriel. I still dream of Raven. I even had a dream of my bf before Sab. His name was TJ. We went to highschool together and he is a computer nerd. (something I tend to like in guys) But he did not like my furry side. I have yet to have a dream of bobkitty, but I usually don't start dreaming of guys until I'm head-over heels in love with them.
Yes I love you bobcat, don't get me wrong.... but I have yet to know you in real life.
Anyways... I hope I'm not hurting you bobkitty by stating what I want in life. I know some of these things are not things you want. But these are just thoughts.
