Emergency Commission Begging
Posted 11 years agoI hate statuses like these. I really do.
I'm in dire straights this week. I currently need about $240 that I just don't have to pay for some repairs to my car and also a bill I've let lapse for too long.
The fact of the matter is that I need to make more money before I actually get paid again (which wont be for two weeks). Or I won't be getting paid ever again because I'll be unable to work either one of my jobs without a functioning car. So. I'm turning to you guys. If anyone can help my by commissioning anything from me (I don't expect a bloody handout), I would be eternally grateful. I understand it's coming up on a pretty financially trying time of year for a lot of people so if you can't pick anything up, that's okay. I understand, but if you can, you would really be tossing me a life raft right now. I would be working overtime to make sure you get your pictures as fast as possible of course and you should expect the same level of quality that you see in all of my finished work.

Posted 11 years agoSo I've played it now. I can now understand how bloody addicting this stupid game is. It's a time eater though. I dont think I can really keep playing it much at all since the games are way too long. They need to make this game faster for people with actual lives and responsibilities. I can't cancel everything that might come up in the next 20-45 minutes.

Appropriate Conversation
Posted 11 years agoHey guys, let's talk a little bit about what I believe is and isn't appropriate ways to speak with me, especially during my streams or when you run into me on a chat service.
I don't like to be "hit on" while I'm streaming. I don't like people being affectionate with me or doing RP actions at me like I should somehow respond. This includes just trying to be goofy because it doesn't always come off that way. I appreciate a good joke. I don't appreciate things becoming awkward.
Don't publicly express interest in erotic roleplay with me. It's weird. That's a private issue and has nothing to do with what I do on my page. Don't leave me shouts like that. Don't send me notes like that either. I won't bother responding to them.
Don't ask a ton of questions that might be able to be considered personal. This include questions about my gender, my day to day life outside of things I feel free to share with you all already on this page, my possible sexual interests, what I look like, what my real name is, etc. This line of questioning makes me uncomfortable.
Don't ask for my outside contacts like YIM or Skype or Carrier Pigeon Unlimited. If I think I wouldn't mind talking to you a bunch of the future, I will freely share it with you or invite you to a skype call or whatever. But I won't be publicly announcing that information in front of anyone else whom I would rather not have access to that.
Sorry, I hate making drama posts, but this information had to be shared. Now I just hope everyone gets around to actually reading it.

Spiders in my bed

Three nights in a row there have been spiders in my bed. Once, there have been spiders physically on my body. I've even tried spraying this spider repellent on the entrances to the room and they are still getting in. What the fuck?

First day of work
Posted 11 years agoThe true first day of work is tomorrow. Only Freshmen reported today. Everybody wish me luck in actually getting used to getting up at five in the morning again. XD
To the New Watchers
Posted 11 years agoI have noticed a very large influx of new watchers this week. I just wanted to write a journal to thank everyone for their continued and growing support. I haven't even been able to keep up with thanking all of the new folks who have been popping up as watchers and stream viewers. It's very much appreciated and I hope to keep providing you all with some entertaining, high quality work.
Work begins
Posted 11 years agoMy first meeting is today, marking the beginning of the return to school. As I've mentioned you might see me slowing down quite a bit after that point as I won't be able to stream anywhere near as much or at the incredibly late times that I often do. It's also likely I just won't have as much time to draw as I would like so please be patient and bear with me. I will still take on commissions if anyone is interested and those will take priority over personal projects.
On Freebie Streams
Posted 11 years agoI'm going to take a long break from doing any of these. The main problem right now is I am burning myself out on them. I would also like it if some of these translated more into interest in some commission work, but that hasn't really been the case. Much of my freebie traffic does not return to even watch my other art, which is a bit disappointing.
So, for now I'm going to focus a lot more on my own things, and not worry about doing freebies. I hope everyone sticks around and enjoys the process of finishing up my lantern pic.

Posted 11 years agoMy new landlord stupidly sliced our internet cable in half while doing maintenence, so I've been without internet the last couple of days. Welp. I'm back now.

Posted 11 years agoI will be moving the very last bit of my furniture tomorrow, meaning I'll officially be moved in. This also means the quality of my streams may be changing. I don't know the speed of the internet at the new place, so it maybe dropping in quality (also my roommate is a big online gamer, so there's also that). I apologize in advance for any drops in stream quality you may see, but it cannot be helped I'm afraid.

1. Be nice. Don't be a jerk. Seriously. I don't need any "I'm so cool because I'm snide" crap in my stream. Take it somewhere else.
2. Commissions: I will accept commissions during stream, but I may not start working on them right away, especially if I am busy working on another project. It is much more likely you will see me working on it the next stream as I usually set out with a goal in mind on what I want to get done in any given stream.
3. Freebies are first come, first serve and I will stop when I wish to. This has nothing to do with not wanting to draw your request. Request streams will be marked in advance so make sure to have a reference for what you want or I probably won't draw it.
4. Advertising. You may link to your own page and pictures, but I do prefer if you at least ask or tell me what it is you are linking to.
5. I will listen to Les Miserable as much as I bloody want to, thank ye very much. :P

Terms of Service

Payment must be conducted via paypal. No other services are currently being accepted.
Commissioners should place their FA username in the comments so that I am sure who has payed me. No other information is necessary unless requested.
2. Types of Pictures
I prefer to draw SFW pictures, but am willing to draw NSFW art if I feel it is within my ability to do so.
NSFW material will be addressed on a case by case basis, and may incur additional charges if it is difficult or uncomfortable material
I will draw humans as well as furries. Ferals are less likely to be accepted.
Specific scenes may incur additional charges if they severely add to the difficulty of the piece.
3. Privacy
The commissioner retains the right to disallow their purchase from being uploaded to my page.
They also retain the right to disallow the picture from being worked on during livestreams.
I will wait to upload/send the picture at a certain time if requested, providing I am available at the time desired.
4. Artist Rights & Distribution
I retain the rights to all art I draw.
The rights to characters involve remain with their respective creators.
I will not draw a picture including someone else's characters without their permission unless for the specific purpose of being gifted to that person.
I reserve the right to refuse any commission for any reason. I do not have to disclose my reasons.
Altering my artwork is not allowed unless specifically granted permission by myself.
Commissions may not be resold unless specifically stated otherwise.
5. Commission Process
If you wish to commission me, you should send a note, or leave a shout. You may also leave a comment on any journals I may make in the future for that specific purpose.
Provided I accept the proposal, you will be provided with my paypal contact. Payment is expected in full upfront. The option to "upgrade" a picture exists provided the commissioner pays the difference in price before further work commences.
I will provide a sketch page for you to review. If you accept this we will continue. I will redraw it no more than twice before further fees may be involved.
If you wish to be updated as I work on the picture past the initial sketch, you should request this in advance (I will generally update you as I complete each "stage" of work in this case). Otherwise I will simply complete the piece and send it to you once finished.
A completed piece will not be changed unless there are grievous errors that must be corrected. Generally, a picture will not be changed significantly past the sketch stage.
I will send you a note containing a link to a dropbox of the finished picture. This will generally be a .jpg or .psd file unless requested to be otherwise.
6. Refunds & Cancellation
If a picture is cancelled during or before the initial sketches a full refund will be sent.
If it is cancelled during any other stage, only the cost covering the uncompleted portion will be refunded.
If I fail to complete a picture within a reasonable amount of time, I will provide a full refund.
7. Behavior
Please, don't be a jerk. Don't rush me. I will complete the work as quickly as I am available. Keep in mind I work all during the week during the school year and am not available to work much during those days so work will get done quicker on weekends.
If you fail to be respectful, I will cancel your commission and refund the uncompleted portion. You will not be considered for future commissions.

Updates on stuff in progress, sketching/request streams

In other news, I have a few new pictures up. I released a series of the single most complicated picture I have ever done in stages: from sketch, to ink, to flat color. Will I ever do a finished product with proper shading and background? Maybe. We will have to see about that. If I do, it will be after I complete my current project. I've also been thinking about doing more sketch/doodle streams where I take fun requests and just generally dick around with fun, goofy drawings and also stylistic tests. I don't generally show my sketching process much for the sole reason that I'm not very confident in my abilities. Generally, when I sketch something it takes me a very long time to get it right, and on a stream I feel a need to speed up my normal process instead of just starting over every time I feel like it isn't working right.
I have began to finally put together some official ref sheets for my characters. I feel pretty settled into their appearances, and I just want to put together an official look for Stella and The Eye Candies. Trin and Leela are already done if you check my two most recent uploads. I'm going to take a little time off and then put out Lissa and Stella. I have some decisions I want to make about Lissa as I changed her up a little in my most recent drawing and I'm thinking of revamping Stella's hair one more time, maybe to something with a little more of a smooth, flowing look than the messing, spiked bangs.
Anyway, keep a close watch on my page if you're following me as I plan to be keeping things interesting leading into my move and the start of the new school year (at which point I have to pull back some of my efforts to focus on work, obviously).

Pricing will be different than it was in the old days, but I'm also much much better than I used to be, so you'd be paying for quality of course. Anyway, if you'd like to ask specific questions about what kind of things I might offer or would like to let me know what kind of things you would like to see me offer then leave a comment or note me and I'll get back to you. Currently, I'm looking at offering custom adopt designs, digital inks of single characters and digital coloring of single characters.
