So everything is still going good, I'm down quite a bit! On my surgery date I was 312lbs.... Now I'm 257! So thats 55 lbs :) not too shabby in 6 months right?

Merry Christmas Everyone! It's been a few months now since my surgery, I'm happy to say I have dropped over 40lbs in weight and 6 pant sizes and 2 shirt sizes! I'm so excited! I can eat about 4-6 oz of food at a sitting now roughly. I'm full of energy and just feeling great! I get full quickly but I enjoy what i get to have, not feeling hungry all the time yay! What does me loosing all this weight mean for you? It means you may actually get to see a Lady Bastet Fursuit in the future! But first I'm going ahead with more grown up decisions.... I'll update again as I go! Hope everyone is well!

Well, my bariatric sleeve surgery went well last week, healing up and feeling better day by day, so far roughly 15 lbs have dropped from my body in about a little over a week, my follow up apt is this Friday so I'll see what I've exactly lost and see if i can move onto the soft food stage. I was advised I can now have mashed potatoes, and have successfully eaten some. (about 1oz per meal). still doing protein shakes and other fluids. I'll update soon, thank you for all the well wishes!

So......................Last month my 93 year old grandmother passed away on the 17th of July, forgot to mention that in all my pent up frustration....... it was really hard and is odd she's not just down the street from my work at the retirement home...

, This past month has been crazy....But on the bright side, .I finally got my date to have my gastric sleeve surgery after all these shenanigans with the insurance.. I will be having surgery on the 25th of September ya'll, life changing! So that's good right? :)

Makes me want to get some art... and don't worry, Cherry won't be changing her curves... But it DOES mean that once I loose the weight I want to loose.... I will be getting a Lady Bastet Fursuit! Just gonna put the money I save on food towards a good suit :) Or maybe even one for peach blossum! we will see...... What character should I get art of next? should it be naughty?

So Just a few updates for Y'll I know It's been a while. I have not yet had my surgery due to issues from the insurance and the Dr's office not submitting things right. On the upside I have lost Weight about 20lbs since Feb, 50lbs since 2 years ago so YAY! Other than that just working, playing Ark and Warframe when I get free minutes.... Saddly had my grandmother pass this past tuesday, so still grieving over that too. Hopefully sometime soon I can get a date for my weight loss surgery......

So just an update on what's going on:

I have had my upper Endoscopy. Doctor told my dad that everything looks good and I will still be a good candidate to receive the sleeve surgery (Slicing off most of my stomach) He also advised that I had some diabetic damage as well, but not to worry about it since I am already heading towards the surgery. Currently I'm just waiting to hear from his office about my surgery date.

My weight right now is 318lbs. When I began going to see the gastric doctor I weighed roughly 330lbs. So not to bad me, not to bad, I'm back down to a weight I haven't been on over 7 years, my weight watchers weight chart is proud of me, and apparently so is my scale at home, didn't know it actually had feelings or that function, thanks dad. lol

I still have a go fund me up to help me with the costs of everything from the surgery to supplements I will need to buy. It looks like i haven't reached my goal so, I'm leaving it open. Looks like my parents are going to help foot the bill for the surgery

Alas I will not be attending FWA this year... but I will be attending Pensacon 2018 here in Pensacola. (My dad gets us VIP every year) Hope to see some people there!

Well... It's been a while since I posted anything, so I thought I should update you all. Bew job I've been working for a year now is going well, not teaching but processing LIFE insurance requests for a 3rd party provider. I have also made a large decision. I have decided to have bariatric surgery. I have tried for a very long time to loose weight and keep it off, and well... none of my other options have really worked out well. I have had my first doctors consultation for the surgery, since I don't currently have any horrible underlying conditions (besides being morbidly obese) I qualify to have the gastric sleeve.

What is this sleeve Stephie? Basically they will cut off part of my stomach that secretes hunger hormones and leave me with a stomach pouch that looks like a banana with lots of titanium staples. I made sure they don't get the staples at office depot. This type of surgery has statistically shown to provide close results to the axis bypass. Now this isn't set in stone. If after all my medical testing is through, i am a diabetic etc, I will be changing to the other bypass.

It has taken me a long LONG time to come to this decision, and I feel I am making the right one. While this may be the end of the fat, cuddly me, I hope that the new more defined me, will be just as attractive if not more. To be clear, I am doing this for my future health and life goals. Theres only so far I can come with impending doom looming over my head. This also means I will be able to fursuit as some of my leaner characters once all is said and done. I do intend to get a full suit of Bastet when all is said and done.

I will be creating a go fund me page for those of you whom would like to aid in helping me pay for said surgery, whilest my insurance pays for 85% of the surgery, the other 15% is due pre-op. Which means I need to cover $3,180.00 and will be out of work for 3 weeks or more while recovering. I intend to post pictures of my progress and will answer any questions you may have.

Well, Thursday marked a special day, my grandmother turned 90! I asked her how it felt, and she said she never expected to make it to 90 and says she hates being old and useless. I told her she wasn't useless, she still gets me into trouble all the time and it made her laugh. So this Saturday they are having a big family party for her... but I'm gonna be late, there is a Teacher Job Fair... I'm going again to try and get a full time job with the school district again... I really need this job so keep me in your thoughts and prayers! If I get it, some awesome artist is gonna get some money from me >.> for some yummy art maybe yall, so think about that XD The art aside, I really want a good teaching position, hopefully at a good school. I quit my prek-teaching job.... it was just too much, the kids were always misbehaving and I was worn out from trying to coral them. So I really hope this works out... Wish me luck!

I've been mulling around the idea of making a cooking show in my fursuit.... would anyone want to watch it? Would it peak your interest for certain delights? How about it, seeing a chubby tigress in an apron cooking yummy meals step by step?

It seems that one of our cats, Ember, got out of the house because of one of our roommates and was hit by a car..... the worst part is, the roommate never bothered to tell us she'd run out, not a word. I'm very upset... she was our baby and now she's gone just like that... saw a dead cat in the road on his way to work and thought it looked like our cat, but tried not to think about it. When I got to work he told me about it, and I realized we hadn't seen her all day (she normally hides and sleeps). We came home from work and tore up the apt to find her... but it seems it really was her. and I'm super sad and super pissed at that roommate right now, our poor ember was out there in the street... probably terrified cause she never goes outside and then gets hit by some huge noisy thing.... someone picked up the body before i went to work so i didn't see it... but i cried a while and snugged my cat. If magically it wasn't her... I'd be happy but pretty positive it was her v.v
