At FC dragonorca and foxer421 decided i should name my fursuit Graflex, so I made an account for him as GraflexFox. Im also going to be posting my tintype photos on that account and keep them updated there. Im hoping to sit down and actually scan them to get better images to post. So, for all those interested in my old photos l, go watch me there too.

Going to fc this year, was thinking about leaving thursday evening like usual, but seems early friday morning is a better alternative. Im rushing to finish getting my fursuit together (onlytook 6 years) but i think i can pull it off. the base plan is hanging out with my mate dragonorca and foxer, and seeing what happens from there. I saw a banner last night for someone doing $55 foam fursuit head bases. I clicked on it, read about it hut now i cant remember who it was. Does amybody know, or is there a way to cycle through all the fa banners?

Finally happened, some dumbass rear ended my poor mini tonight, smashed the trunk, rear end and cooked the wiring by shorting out the wiring, turning it into smoke (not the fault of the lucas wiring as so many say). so its sitting sad and broken, it was just getting good and now its going to get gone, ive done so much work on my own and this is beyond what i can fix, and i dont want to pay to fix it. what an fun way to end an evening by ending may car ive been working on for 14 years.

I doubt anybody will read this but I want to say it somewhere. Not wanting to lose track of people I watch I checked over to weasyl about getting an account. Surprise! I didnt need to be invited anymore, so I signed up. Overall the place seems ok but more of an outline for a site than a fully finished system. It seems like inkbunny with zero bells or whistles, really like browsing on e621. If you don't know what youre looking for, you won't find it. It is very clean and functional, but it doesn't allow for lazy evening browsing through the "flash" section, or "fursuits". Searching by tags has never really impressed me, it seems easy and minimal and not even very effective; searching for "grey fox" brings up lots of foxes, but most had nothing to do with grey. The few broad categories available also dont seem to be accessible until you search something anyways. Im going to keep an eye on it and maybe stick some stuff and hope the owners don't lose interest, that they actually update it with ACTUAL updates (how long did it take FA to get the search working?).

I know i dont have alot of followers on here, but Im going to cross my fingers and give it a shot. The person i was hoping to have watch my 2 dogs seems to have fallen out of contact and Id feel much better having a backup dog watcher for fc. Id be leaving thursday night and returning sunday night. The dogs are in Montclair, CA, next door to Pomona Theyre a female husky mix and male german shepherd mix. You could stay at my place, or just stop by to give them food and water in the evenings, or if you actually have the space they could maybe stay at your place. Im offering $20 per day. Send me a note and well see what we can work out.

So Im now by myself. Dragonorca and Claws are gone and Im left with time to think by myself and figure out what Im going to do with myself next. And I dont know what. Im trying to keep myself busy by picking up half finished projects, like the old camera, but im having trouble deciding what to do. I was going to finish a plastic model of a 1907 Rolls Royce, but the instructions seem to be gone *sigh* the way things go...If anyone wants to say hi Id like to hear from you, Im trying to build up a friend base again.

Just because I was at Walmart helping a lady customer and employee by telling them what poplin fabric was, why the fabric they picked out wouldn't work for making a skirt and helped them look around for a better fabric choice. Walmart had none. I sent them to Joann's. I was then informed my gayness was showing by my oh-so-helpful mate.

After more loopholes than a corporate tax return, more hoops having been jumped through than a 3 ring circus, more politics than both houses of congress, administration and management problems akin to "The Office" and an armistice caliber 11th hour final paper push I got it all done. No more school. My paper WILL be arriving and there will be no more questions. Yay. I'm having a glass of absinthe to celebrate.

Went for a week vacation with my mate DragonOrca to a little beach town where I always went as a kid. Was alot of fun being there with someone I really wanted to spend the time with. I got to tell him all my stories, show him all the stuff and explore some new things too. And I got to wear my cute new swim trunks with someone who appreciated them.

I'm deciding I don't like licorice, but the spoon it came with was so cool...

After far too long I'm finally going to be out and done with school. On June 12th I'll get all dressed up and do the whole shibang and be done. I'm not super excited or anything, I'm getting there on the inside, but I still have 2 classes and finishing off a senior project in the next 2 weeks. I was thinking the other day walking to my car after a class and thought how nice it will be when I can go home from work and thats it. No homework, projects, lingering classes or looming quarters. Come home from work, have a beer, work on a fursuit, draw, fix a car, watch tv, whatever. And that's it. Glorious.

 Foxer421 has to be my favorite artist hands down. I highly recommend you watch him. Such talent...

After fooling around with it all summer my mini is going again, not on the road, but it runs. It should be out on the road tomorrow, hooray! It technically ran last week, but the main seal in the clutch department got put in wrong and it puked oil all over the clutch, so it all had to pulled out again, was very sad. But things are good now, I'm in a good mood, and should have more time for more interesting.

There is nothing going on! I'm so out of stuff to do, I'm actually writing a journal.

Fursuit: I've been making a fursuit for the past...6 months I'd say, maybe more, but just got really rolling on it the past few weeks. I have everything cut out, and sewn up everything I can except for the rust brown stripes that border the white portions. And NOBODY has rust brown fur!!! So I'm stuck. We're going to go down to LA and go real fur shopping, hopefully Thursday, then I can keep rolling on my flavor of the week.

Mini: Up and driving again! Still going to need an engine rebore and stuff at some point, but various gooey miracles of modern auto sciene are keeping it running and from bleeding oil. Drove it to Salt Lake City...few weeks ago to hang out with Steel Froggy, it made it pretty ok, found out things about it, and fixed some things when we got back from the 1300 mile trip.

Work/money: Working for my dad now, part time, prettyy much whenever I want really. Kind of nice having a paycheck every week. Otherwise generally poor.

Drawing/real artsy stuff: Haven't been doing anything because of my car and my fursuit.

Me and DragonOrca got disneyland annual passes, hopefulyl we'll be going again soon, possibly with Foxer.
