When working digitally I can do doodles, inks, and color! (I skip the ink stage)

Doodles are effective to get an idea of what you want and map out a pose.

I don't think I would necessarily make fresh content, just multi-task by recording my art sets as i draw them, then posting a video per a drawing. I am drawing an art set by traditional means, and my goal was to stream commission inbetween art, however, there isnt a good way to stream it. No matter what I do, the camera is either in my face, the art is blurry, or monitor i use for references is blocked by the camera. I still need to do art by traditional means to make professional set to sell, that way I don't just live on a random amount of commissions. Sooooooooooo if at all possible, just order the art by notes. Yeah it doesn't quite have that neat feeling of being drawn live, but damn the art looks good.

I remember this thing, but I can't find it, I feel stupid or something.

Ever see linework, where the shadows are outlined by hand, perhaps with a different color? It feels like an extremely advanced technique, but i can't find it, I might not know the right terminology.

I think this is how it works.

blue linework for the draft.
ink directly on it, make sure all linework is enclosed
then red lines at the edge of where the shadows will go, making sure to connect both ends of each line to the black linework
scan
filter out the blue
duplicate linework layer, lock, hide.
filter out the red
levels to remove greys.
paint bucket in all the colors
magic wand all the areas between red and black, paintbucket appropriate colors
hide the layer with the red linework.

completed cell-shaded drawing
no erasing pencils needed
don't need to scan twice
no time wasted handcoloring

Maybe you haven't bought something in awhile, and need to fulfill your sexy desires, artistically.

I was so impressed when I saw Araki, a manga artist, drew some awesome art using blue pencils for drafts, then inking right on top. It is a popular method among traditional artists, because it is easy to filter out the blue pencil after inking. So give it a try. Grab draft art, to get loose and attractive blue pencil sketch. Grab ink art, to get bold black lines drawn with a dip pen using g-pen nib.
