Canfurence Overview
Posted 8 years agoSo, Canfurence is done and over now... but it was an amazing weekend and so great being able to fully show off the suit!
And she got many compliments and it was fun seeing people I know realize who I was underneath :) It was fun getting a lot of photos, especially when non-con goers dragged me over to get one. (They were nice about it XD but it was fun!) One thing I do need to work on is get more pictures with other suiters, but I kinda need a photo taking person with me more.
And I actually commissioned some art at the convention! Something I don't do much, and was worried about with not having a proper ref sheet, but I'm very happy with how both turned out. (I'll post both here with links to the originals/artists later)
But it felt way too short, and I can't wait for the next convention! Really tempted to go to this one again with the new venue and friends though. Hopefully it will be in the books come August.
But thank you friends, and new people I've met for a wonderful convention. I hope to see more people soon!

But I need to severely fix up my profile, but her first convention is coming up! Canfurence in Ottawa, Ontario Nov 10-12th! Hope to meet some new faces there! This is also when I'll be linking this profile back to my main. She's a bit of a secret right now ;) But I couldn't keep her a total secret or I'd go crazy XD
Current planned conventions/events are:
Canfurence 2017: Nov 10-12 ~Ottawa, Ontario (Confirmed)
Furnal Solstice 2017: Dec 16 ~Scarborough, Ontario (Pending)
Furnal Equinox 2018: March 16-18 ~Toronto, Ontario (Confirmed)
Anthrocon 2018: July 5-8 ~Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (Pending)
And possibly more? But I will try to keep my profile updated on convention status. So I can plan on meeting people!

Posted 8 years agoOh my goodness she is done! Now I just have to wait for her to make the expensive trip here. But I'll be doing an unboxing video, photos and all the fun things once she arrives. (And this account won't be so dead)
