Have you ever wanted to tell someone they're beautiful? Or pretty? Handsome? things like that... but don't want to sound.. well, creepy or like you're hitting on them? I feel like that a lot, and I want to tell people in general. Yeah, I might fancy them a bit, it's why I feel that to me, they're beautiful/pretty, etc. I always feel guilty or off-putting in some way, and I don't want to. I once had someone tell me that me and my wife looked "extremely happy" out of nowhere, and that our world needed more of that, and it gave me a lot of pep for a couple of weeks to hear someone say something so kind to us. I want to be able to share that sort of enthusiasm towards people about their appearance or demeanor in general, and I can't ever bring myself to do it.

I'm about to take a very huge step. I'm getting ready to leave on a train in a couple of hours to head west to a convention, all by myself. I've never rode on a train before, I've never been west, and aside from the people I've only texted on discord, I'll be alone. It's a huge thing for me, but I'm scared shitless. I won't lie.

Fuck trying to be nice anymore. I have friends, and then I have fucking assholes that the moment you're no longer convenient or doing something for them, they try to back stab you and push you around. Fuck them. Grr. I'm so fucking pissed right now, I can't see straight.

I feel so depressed right now.

We've made it this far with the help of my mother and friends, but I don't know how much longer we can go. We have a week to come up with something, anything to help with rent, else we have to be out by the end of the month. Our rent is $675, but we don't need it all at once. My wife is trying to look for something she can do, anything at all to pull in money. I don't know how much longer we'll have the internet on, either. We're three months behind on that as well. We're in the position right now, we can't lose the place we're living at. We have no friends or family who can take us in, and we don't have any income to be able to move, even if we did. We don't have the money to put a deposit down anywhere, and I'm sure there's waiting lists for people in apartments and the like and because of our cats, they wouldn't take us anyways. If you can donate anything at all, a few dollars, would even be helpful. Even if you can't, please share this around to others and see if they can. We're behind on our rent, due to having to take loans out to help us out. A little over a year ago, my wife was in a car accident that totaled our car. We had to take a loan in order to start payments for a new car, simply so my wife could get to work. Over the last year, we've had to take more loans to make things work, but it's really hurting us now.
If we could manage to catch up on our rent, we'd be alright, but if we could manage to raise more than that, we could apply the extra to our loans, and try to alleviate this off of us, and I know we would be fine after that and could make it.

Is anyone who reads my journals any good at creating fonts? Like, almost expertly? I'm trying to create a font based on the Kryptonian from "Man of Steel." I've figured out how to do glyph replacement ligatures for most things, so for instance, if "f" and "a" are typed next to each other, it substitutes for the glyph for "fa" and so on. A few of the problems I'm having is that I have contextual accents that I want to be able to put in at certain places easily, and don't know how to do it and look right, another problem is that I am working mostly with FontCreator, and I want to be able to create OpenType fonts with PostScript outlines, so things like Word can use the scripted ligatures when activated. FontCreator will only create TrueType fonts, and I have a program that injects the script into the font, changing it into an OpenType font, but with a TrueType Outline, which means things like Word ignore the programming, but something like Photoshop sees it fine.

Lately I've been feeling that I don't have enough people to converse with online about things I like, videogames and such. I'd like new people to talk to about common interests. Does anyone have any of the promo foil cards, extras I mean? I've started collecting these cards, and I almost have a full set, trying to work on a close to full set for my little brother as well, but those foil cards are expensive to buy. I have some extra cards, but not many. I don't know what I could give for the foil promos, but I'm definitely NOT paying upwards of $200 for a card, which is what some are going for on ebay.
