Most of that material is from my more pagan/wiccan and werewolfy days, but meh. Works just as well.
Will there be more writings using my characters and such to come?

(Takes out sonic screwdriver and fixes the drum machine. Drum roll begins.)
Ladies and gentlefurs! Children of all ages! I present to you the next lucky wolf to be going to Antrhocon...
(the drum machine goes on. With a sigh Stormmetal sonics the stupid machine again. Finally there is a cymbal crash.)
Blasted technology.
Yep! That's right! This Time Lord Wolf is going to Anthrocon 2019 with the crew of the Two Vixens and a Wolf Show. If you've not heard of them, well shame on you! And if you have heard of them and listened to them then also shame on you! They can be found at All Fur Radio via https://allfurradio.com/2-vixens-and-a-wolf/
So yeah. I'm doing what they tell you not to do. Jump head-first into a major fur con as your first fur con. Well, I can tell you. This is certainly not my first rodeo! I might be a bit out of practice thanks to my misadventures but I've been at various types of cons and shows before. I've done gaming cons where I was part of the staff and administration. I've done sci-fi cons where there's plenty of cosplay. I've aided our fighters in the SCA both heavy and rapier and understand the needs for them to cool down and hydrate, very much like fur suiters must. I've been around the country many times in various large cities as a traveller mostly for training via my employer. And yes, Pittsburgh was on that list quite recently actually. I got a feeling I'm going to do fine.
Am I excited and/or stoked? Seriously? You have to ask that question?
Let me just say, when I got confirmation and all that it was a done deal my depression nearly evaporated.
After all, this is my first true vacation in over a decade.
You might be able to find me. I'm going to try to have some badges made. I have no suit but just some cheap wolfy feet and a tail. Those feet are soooo comfy!
Also, I forgot to mention that on Friday of the con I'll be leveling up! Level 49 Time Lord Wolf!

Catching Up for 2019
Posted 7 years agoAs the year ends, I figured I'd try to get some of my SL journeys posted from this year.
I got seasonal pics from my time hanging at the All Fur Radio HQ with the Two Vixens and a Wolf Show. In fact, I've become a bit like Norm from Cheers there. Just they guy in the back everyone knows and greets when they walk in ("Storm!") Although my bi-weekly D&D games do provide a bit of fuel for "The Greigh Area" with all the hilarity and insanity involved.
I've also found a couple of Sci-Fi sims. Valaran and Fergus IV. Valaran is a bit cyberpunk and Fergus IV is actually based on the old Traveller RPG. As a wolf fur, I fit right into Traveller as the vargr species for that universe.
Here's hoping I get a bit more active in the community, and FA in the coming year. But we all know how much of a horrible procrastinator I can be. XD

Stormmetal v. Florence

I survived...
Well, to be honest. I wasn't really even there when it hit.
I was in Pittsburgh and obviously not for what most would think. After all that was 2 months in the past or 10 months in the future, depending on your temporal trajectory. ;)
No this was for a conference for web people. Planed and paid for by my place of business in advance. There was no way to know I'd miss this storm.
Now getting to the conference was easy, getting home through the maelstrom, was Hell.
This flight canceled, that flight cancelled. Finally getting re-routed...
Of course while this is all going on I am using the miracle of social media and keeping up with every bit of data from home I could acquire. Didn't help to alieve any anxiety at all.
Because of a re-routed flight I had to get picked up to get a ride home to where I was supposed to go. Thanks to some very good furs for that assistance.
I come home to what I expected. No power, rain, wet, an exhausted mate and a relatively hot an humid evening.
We got power this afternoon (Monday 17th September 2018) and after we got everything on or to=do list done. (Find open laudromat to do clothes. find open store to get more cat food, find something to eat and discover/avoid road closures due to fallen trees and washouts)
Now is time for a nap.
Yes, the Stormwolf survived, but was not there to face the storm itself. But now it's time to clean up the mess.

Possible writings coming soon
Posted 8 years agoI've been inactive as a writer for some time and I rarely use my DA account anymore. However I still do write with my OC's from time to time.
I feel I need to get back into that instead of just taking SL pictures.
Expect at first all my old stuff from DA uploaded here, and then some new stuff. Poetry, stories, and so on. Old stuff was mostly therian based with some fur. New stuff more furry.

Posted 9 years agoBeen inspired to try to bring all of my characters to life via Second Life. I have quite the list.
Stormmetal you know, and you might have seen Cassandra in her Time Lady form. But this little pack of mine is quite extensive.
Here's my list:
Stormmetal Whitepaw
aka Storm, Robert Edwards Jr., Professor R. J. Underhill or simply The Professor
A wolfsky (1/4 husky on his mother's side) who's a bit of a nerd. Loves all meat, preferably rare, mead, heavy metal, anime, Doctor Who, D&D and so on.
His fur is a typical wolfy grey-brown, but his paws both hand and feet are white from the wrists/ankles down. His tail is also tipped in white.
His powers are alchemic transmutation, electrical generation and temporal manipulation.
Hope Goldenpaw
aka Cassandra Edwards, Cassandra MacRoberts, Cassie.
My twin sister. Her fur is a golden brown and she is a big, beautiful, cuddly wolfess. She's a BBW and proud of it. Always looks after the pack and is a bit matronly and seriously protective. Her body type ranges between thick and very fat depending on the story. She loves to cook and eat but only home cooked meals and never any fast food or junk food. Baked goods and chocolate are her downfalls.
Despite her size she is very agile and strong and a mistress swordswoman. She is a powerful telepath as well as a transmuter and telekinetic. Her first story is a companion to my Time Lord as a Time Lady in training. She is a follower of the Wiccan faith and honours all deities associated with wolves such as Lupa and Fenrir.
Laughing Myndbender
aka Harold Jamison
My best bud. He is a short (but NEVER say that to his face! He gets all Edward Elric if you do!) ruddy-furred coyote from the UK. He's the consummate joker, and if you think MY puns are bad...
He uses illusions and invisibility to trick and confuse his enemies. He is also a master hacker and gamer. He is currently mated to Cassie.
Frostwynd
aka Frost Fawkes, William James MacNee
Arctic fox. A little shorter than Myndbender above but much stockier. He is coldly logical and a bit grumpy at times.
His powers are cyrokenisis and invisibility.
Blazefyre
aka Blaze Fawkes, Alice-Marie MacNee
Very orange-red fox. Taller than her twin brother Frost, athletic build. Happy go lucky, Devil may care attitude. Life is a game to this ginger fox. She's the fun one where her brother, not so much. Think Pinky Pie on stimulants. Yeah...
True to her name, her's is the power of flame and fire as well as empathy and touch telepathy. She and her brother can communicate telepathically to each other however.
While not my own character there is also...
Raven Darkmoon
A blue furred tabby cat, and my mate.
Sometimes wears raven wings. She is a witch like Cassie and a follower of both Morrighan and Bast.
She too is an awesome telepath, but not as powerful as Cassandra. She can heal as well as fight, but prefers slinking in shadows and striking with sneak attacks like a sneak thief.
She is Southern and sassy to a fault, and is the only woman to put Storm in his proper place when he gets out of line. As badass as River Song but with a Southern twang. ;)
