So you know that saying "when it rains, it pours"?

That's basically how life (and my relationship with technology) has gone for a little bit. I've been able to login and post to deviantart but not view or answer messages, and I couldn't even do that on FA.

But I've worked out most of the bugs, gotten a new computer and a new browser and things are looking up. I'm still a fulltime student so don't expect miracles but I've got most of the art I owe sketched out and a fair chunk of it inked so hopefully you'll see a steady stream of uploads.

So I'm going to reopen commissions on the forum soon, but my furry examples are a bit outdated (I'm mostly set on the human and animal front). I thought I'd open these up to anyone here. I've made a list of the examples I think I need and it'll be first come first serve. I will treat these like commissions so I'll offer WIPs and the like, but I will be using them as examples here and on other sites so please keep that in mind if you want me to draw your character. The turnaround time will also be slower (normally it's less than a week) because I'll be working on several at once.

My art is mostly SFW, I'll draw nipples but not genitalia. Please keep that in mind.

I'm going back to University!

I was accepted into Bachelor of Education (Primary) yesterday. This takes a bunch of stress off me and I'm really happy with how this year is starting out (something I definitely need with how terrible last year was.)

This means that I will definitely be moving in with  woolgather and her partner and all their assorted animals. It will be so fantastic - I've missed them a lot this year. I'm super duper excited to sit and draw with other people again - and to watch horror movies with since my family won't.

I hope everyone else's year is starting well too.

On Commissions

I want to open them soon but I've never done it before so this is asking for advice and interest.

What sort of commissions would you want to see?
- any of the three styles specifically?
-scenes or portraits?
-icons?

What do you like it that artists do when offering commissions?
-how do you like them to communicate with you? email/note etc.
-do you expect revisions/WIPS for all pieces?
-How many revisions/ WIPs should an artist offer before they start charging extra?
- Do you like the artist to upload a smaller watermarked file online and email you the original?
- Do you want your commissions to be watermarked if the artist posts them online?

I’m most active on DA and FA but I check the others at least once a week. There isn’t much difference between the sites except that I tend to only post trades/requests/gifts to the site the user contacted me on unless I’ve been given specific permission or it’s fan art.
