and yes the UK law had involvement too. but who knows when it'll get removed. Right now I'm making the right move to just leave. It's just easier.

I want to clarify this once again, because I know you'll read this and think "oh no he's quitting and leaving for good. no more art or crap from him"

no where have I said I'm quitting or retiring. I'm moving on and trying to live my life same as everyone else, but at the same time fighting for our right to free speech.

Just wanted to leave some updates regarding how I'm feeling with what's been going on UK wise and about my future here on FA (if we stay are able to stay)

Let me make it clear I never said I am leaving. I don't know where this information is coming from. I have no intention of giving up something that changed my life and got me to where I am today. I am staying here.

With regarding the future of my work. I have been feeling crap for a while, like everything just came crashing down. like I've been told "You can't do this no more because we said so". It's dumb but that's how it felt. But with some time with my partner and just gaming to clear my head. I'm just going to try and continue as normal. like nothing changed dramatically, yet.

As for the UK online safety act, I just noticed over 370.000 people petitioned against it. including myself of course. Our government have to discuss it. if not, we'll just keep coming back with more and more people. we will not turn into a dystopian country. it's just plain barbaric.

with said, I also noticed a few of our politicians going against this act also. so we have people inside fighting over it too.

so far it's an on going battle. so let's hope the war will be won soon and get back to normal.

The reason I'm making this journal is to help comfort other UK residents who are against this that there is some hope to get this changed and for everyone else to know that I'm not leaving and I am continuing my work as normal.

I don't like this new UK law because it's a dumb idea. but the ways it's done is how everyone hates it...

To put it simply, I live in the UK and a new law is being enforced for online usage.

They want/are cracking own on blocking out all NSFW content online, by enforcing people to give out personal information to prove their age.

first of all. I 100% agree this is something that needs to be done as we're in an age where too many people get away with too much. So I'm glad something is being done about it.

However. this is also not the best way to do it.

They expect everyone in the UK to give out all kinds of personal identification online to prove legal age. and yeah how many of you are going to be like "I'll use VPN" "I'm not giving out my info online for hackers"

again all of this I agree, I don't want my info online, and I also don't wish to pay for VPN or even want to use VPN as it's against the law. (in my opinion, but won't stop people using it)

so when this takes effect ALL future content from me may be a little more difficult if I can't find a safe way to pass these barriers.

Changes are made because I the situation i'm in now, (nothing bad, but mainly now i'm a home owner and living with a partner) My time is important. I don't like it being wasted.

Prices have gone up to match up to the currency exchange, because I do live in the UK so I have to go by with it. I can't keep using Dollars as it's not my currency, and again with the exchange rates. I technically keep getting less and less. so changes have to be made for the upkeep.

of course the guidelines have been updated as well. making sure there's an understanding.

honestly, all i can say is that if you don't like these prices. then be grateful i'm not charging 500/1000 dollars a picture like most people.

soon all my current YCH pics will be either updated or removed, time for some changes since i'm improving slowly. ^^

i'm doing everyone else a favour and say, don't bother watching it.

it's like Paramount was low on budget and forget to pay the rest of the animators to finish up working on knuckles and didn't bother getting in more voice lines. he's just a background character of HIS OWN SERIES.

so pretty much I wanted to say that I'm so happy with my recent works. not perfect but it's still a learning curve. I don't plan on being a pro, but just good enough to say "i love your work".

don't get me wrong i've had plenty people say that and i'm forever grateful ^^

so what's the plan for future work?

i'll break it down in bullet points.

. I plan on doing more inflation themed work. it's something I have been wanting to draw more often for years.

. NSFW work is now more limited to only my own Fursona and MY characters only. (personal reasons)

. I have a huge list of ideas to draw, including more sequence of pictures for minor story telling

. I will be adding and creating more monsters because i LOVE designing them <3

. In terms of commissions, I have made an updated listing, so feel free to check it out

. speaking of commissions. I still stand by and refuse to take on work from people who are "watchers" or "blank! profiles. I have a reason not to trust people online and it's just part of bad experiences I've had. I rather have proof that you're not a bot. it's why there's been alot of blocking from me. don't like it. tough...

pretty much that covers the basis of my long term plan. i know the last point is upsetting for some. but again i've had plenty of bad experiences with random blank profiles and people who make no effort to interact with people.

I've now finally moved into an apartment with my loving partner. took a bit of work, but all done and done.

there will soon be regular work when i'm able to.

please note that i am available for commissions. i will be working on a new commission sheet. the biggest change will be the prices as i'm now part home owner. expenses may change, but we'll see.

So yes I have been once again lacking in making content. well to put it simply, the last two months have been busy for me as i was doing extra shifts at my IRL job and now for the next two months i'll be busy prepping to move out of my parent(s) home for the first time and living with my IRL partner.

there's alot going in my my head right now but all you need to know if curious about the future of my work is that, there will be more doodles form your fellow Derg soon enough. just so much has been going on i hadn't had the time or patience to work on anything.

I have a "series" project in the works that i think everyone will enjoy. I gotten inspired from various fighting games (mostly Tekken) to have a go and make something fun.

to put it simply;

It's a monster fighting series. The way this will work is that i will randomly generate a tournament listing and every week there will be a vote on each round for you to vote who you want to win that round.

example

Seifer VS Jack

I will draw the winning vote each time and the winner will move up in the ranks. and then vice versa.

the losers, well obviously they'll be out of the tournament.

that's about it, just something fun to try out ^^

now sadly Twitter is the only platform to have a voting system. so it'll be hosted on there so i can use the Vote system, unless i can post here and try it out in the comments. we'll see.

for now i got some preps to do and mock up a listing, so for now hope this sounds fun to do ^^
