Posted 4 years agoAPPARENTLY, Human characters are not okay to be naked and lewd on IB. Anyone else know that? 'Cause I sure as fuck didn't. Support just contacted me that they've hidden a shitload of my art from the site because it's got naked human characters in it.
Surely their support's joking yeah? 'Cause they've got all kinds of furry chicks fucking real damn hard all the same still there and that's functionally identical!
Man some people just really don't have their priorities in line eh? Fuck me. Whatever, guess I just won't post there ever then! Atleast this site couldn't care for two shits about that... r... Right?

This is a late christmas pic of a character of mine, Remnie, someone who has done really bad things and is being punished by being given to a reliable warrior as thanks by Santa Claus, she will be overseen and reformed by him and even might be his wife later!

Emergency Commissions
Posted 6 years agoI am offering commissions. I don't have slots, it's simply first come first served with really no limit to it.
My Landlord suddenly wants the pet deposit after a year of not needing it, as a result, I need to come up with a minimum of 139 dollars, and a maximum of 375.
Here's the deal. Whatever you want outside of anything concerning Diapers, bodily waste, farts, vore, NSFW or suggestive pics featuring young-looking characters, anything like that.
Everything else is literally in the open. Human, Furry, Robotic, even feral (though I'm not too great at it).
Fan art of any media, Fan art of other artists, even Sona Characters. OCs too.
No rules aside from the above ones.
Prices are Per Character and Per Background and are in USD.
Per Character prices are:
$5 Rough Lines
$10 Clean Lines
+$5 Shading
+$5 Flat Colors
+$5 Lighting
If you wish, I can add in a character of mine.
Adding in Shadie does not increase the price at all unless it's twice, then it's 25% of the original cost with 5% more for each copy of Shadie that is in the picture, and it's 50% of the per character price for each character of mine that is added.
Per Background prices are:
$10 Rough Lines
$20 Clean Lines
+$10 Flat Colors
+$60 Full Color*
* - Color and Full Color is mutually exclusive for price sake.
I also accept commissions for edits of past pics no matter who commissioned it.
Redraws and Edits of pre-existing pictures are 50% off.
There is no set deadline aside from two months from now, as that is most likely when I will be evicted and homeless, so I won't be able to do art in almost any capacity anymore.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. You can find examples of art you could recieve in my gallery.
If you don't have a character, you may ask me to make on for you, and I'll write some stuff for 'em, maybe surprise you with some details too, all for 10 bucks more. It'll come with backstory, personality ideas, and maybe even some tertiary info, like family, or friend details, alongside the image, and you'll own the character 100%!

Analytics Deathmatch
Posted 6 years agoI'm just gonna log this here, but also on DA, and Newgrounds.
Just a comparison of analytics between here, Deviantart, Pixiv, and Newgrounds, just to show which site really is the best for sharing your art and knowing how much people actually have seen it, let alone enjoyed it enough to like/favorite the pic.
The pic is question is this one: Azmune Diashkas Sleeping Time by Commander-Strife
So far after ten hours, Deviantart hasn't registered a single view, though my pageview count has increased by 3 since I posted Azmune's pic. No favorites, no downloads registered.
On Furaffinity, it's a much different story. It's been viewed 19 times, and Favorited once according to its analytics and once per user per 24 hours, I've apparently gotten over a thousand profile page visits.
On Pixiv it's also a different story. 23 views and possibly still climbing. I'll edit this entry after 24 hours on each platform has gone by.
On Newgrounds, the same picture has only gotten 4 views (unless you can inflate the views one view per interval, in which case, it only has 1 views, because I refreshed like 3 times, and it had 2 views when I viewed my own pic.
On Twitter A single tagged post of my art has apparently gotten...
255 Impressions (Literally just Passing Views of the tweet)

I'm doing this to simply prove a point. That point just may eventually be: Deviantart is the worst site for growing as an artist.
It would seem Twitter is shaping up to be the Best.
Even the pic with no Tags, and only one RT by myself, got 75 Impressions and 7 Engagements, with 2 replies, one of which being myself in response to someone else. Twitter is still the best without tagging people with more active audiences who like your post and reply to it. (thank you so much Purity Sin, Holy Shit!)
Simply seeing the pic and looking at the page doesn't really help an artist at all.
Over the course of 7-ish discord servers, I've gotten word about my pic 8 times in the form of replies and reactions.
Even if someone simply tells you "Hey, I like your post" helps an artist more than anyone can really tell. It's motivating, and it's confirmation that the 6 literal hours you put into a picture, even one as simple as the one up above, someone DID see it, and you didn't just drop it into a virtual ocean for it to sink to the bottom immediately.
I'm not doing art for the attention, I do it because I want to, but any smart person will pay attention to analytics if they want to make a living with any virtual occupation.
However, so far, Furaffinity, and Pixiv is also a good option. Newgrounds is shaky honestly.
If I'd posted on Artstation, I most likely would've gotten Newgrounds numbers like i did with my Elanif pic, which I got more views on NG with. Those two platforms seem to be roughly the same in terms of potential to get any eyes on your art.
