As most may have observed, I've been mostly inactive on FA for the past few years starting around when the pandemic hit- and had taken a lot of my attention away from wanting to draw anything really meaningful. I've focused my art a lot on personal works or doodles for friends, but nothing really good enough to be uploaded here on FA yanno? Most of my recent art can be found on Twitter instead!
I find Twitter to be a lot more accessible for posting art compared to over here on FA anyways- you just open a Tweet, upload your artwork and you're done! I don't really like all the extra fluff that you need to deal with when submitting art on FA like the species of animal or the type of artwork or fetish or what level of maturity the art is or tagging your art with keywords ehhhhhh it's so tedious man! It's why I hardly post here xD!
Anyways commissions are closed for the time being- but if I do open you'll likely see something about it on Twitter so please! Check me out there!~

Being An Essential Worker
General | Posted 5 years agoHello my friends and watchers! I'm writing this journal to let you all know that i'm still around and that i'm doing okay and to address my silence plus lack of submissions!
Currently I have finished all of my YCH slots and have no commissions due at this time, and i'm not sure if I should take private commissions for the time being due to this recent pandemic we've all been forced to deal with. Perhaps another YCH set would do some good instead because it makes workflow more consistent and its less taxing on my energy- should I open a set of YCHs i'll be sure to post it here on FA and on Twitter!
My Essential Job
Considering my silence though, it's just because of the large amount of extra work at my job- along with the emotional stress and exhaustion that's come with it. Since the outbreak of Covid-19 i've had to take a leadership role at my work in enforcing strenuous sanitization procedures and social distancing between consumers in order to curb the spread of this deadly virus. I wear a mask and replaceable gloves everyday throughout my shift and have made it a frequent routine to clean all touched surfaces throughout the store several times a day. I live in a small community, and one that I care to keep healthy and safe to the best of my ability- because if one or two people in town gets sick, **everybody gets sick**, and that is bad because I really don't want to bring this awful virus to my home.
All these safety procedures have been ordered statewide by my governor, and I follow their directions exactly as they have directed. Unfortunately I work for one of two bosses that care more about making money than being responsible amidst this outbreak- in which they have made threats to break government regulations and undermine my hard work. Considering the store is smaller than 7,500 square feet only 5 customers are permitted to be in the store at any given time- all other customers must wait outside and remain 6 feet apart from each other at all times. My boss had pulled a limit sign that I created and made verbal hints that they would allow 7 or 8 customers in the store. NO! Not going to happen! Not on my watch! Considering my limit sign was a **mandatory government order**we immediately called our community police department and reported the incident to which they called my boss and warned them that they had better be following regulations or else. Score 1 for me and my coworkers!
Amidst all of this, and constantly clashing with my boss over their lack of safety enforcement, it has made me a really tired and emotionally compromised individual. I fall asleep uncontrollably, and go on frequent moody rants over my job with family members- and it sucks because they'd rather not hear that I want to quit my job every day I come home. I'd rather work at home as a full time artist than to be this essential worker who's been forced to work amidst those who might be sick with Covid-19. Be safe, be brave, wash your hands, don't touch your face, and clean your groceries when you get home I can't stress that enough as a grocery store worker you don't know who's coughed or touched your bottle of soda or your box of cereal! As a matter of fact ditch the box and store your bag of cereal instead.

My house and what it has to do with my commissions

I'm making this journal to announce something big that's going on in my life- something for the better of my household and those of us that live in it! I am currently having my house repaired! My walls, the roof, the windows, some parts of the floor and even the electrical outlets are being redone!
This is such a godsend because my house has been falling apart over the past several years- LOTS of water damage due to the house manufacturer breaking code and not wrapping the outer walls in Tyvek! The *entire* back side of my home was rotting to the point where literal electrical wires were sticking through the walls! But that's not all! There were patches of black mold the whole length of the building, and there were spots on the floor where leaks had damaged my floors. I'm very upset with the original manufacturer of my home, but happy that we got the help that we needed, and we have a crew of 15 or more people on site working so hard to get it done the right way!
With that being said, those of you who are currently on list for commissions just be wary that there may be some delays- i'm writing this at 5:30pm we only just got our electricity back after they've spent most of today replacing my outlets on the back of the house! Thank you so very much for your patience! n.^.n <3

Pardon for the silence
General | Posted 8 years agoIf you guys have been wondering about my artistic absence, i've been working the past few months over a 4 part commission! I have not been submitting artworks because I wanted this set of commissions to be special, and keep you viewers entertained with my creations through creative backgrounds and some neat ideas!
Also, I will be opening for another set of commissions very soon! But first, i need to have a look at my current pricing and possibly make some adjustments! While it may take considerably longer, I have been improving on my background skills, and i feel that at the current $10 price, my efforts for some -really- detailed backgrounds deserve a little more than this. Do not worry though! I shall offer a sort of in between for that same $10 price!

This is such an exciting place to visit, and is my second consecutive year attending Anthrocon!

PLEASE NOTE! This is not a hack or a hacker- this is a steam bug involving incorrect webpage caching.
First of all, DO NOT PANIC.
If you fear that another person is viewing your account, another user cannot use your card or paypal to buy from the steam store, as it requires them to input your Steam Guard Code which is sent to your email because your account is being used from another device that is not yours.
Some necessary precautions:
DO NOT access the steam store or any webpages for the time being.
DO NOT log out of or into your account, best thing to do right now is to leave it be.

Undertale, League of Legends, and Minecraft. This will likely change within 1 or 2 months as i do not stick with any single game forever. You can only build a minecraft village for so long before it gets boring, yanno?

12. One game that's totally overrated in your opinion?
Fable 3. While not nearly as bad as Fable 2, this particular game focused even less on combat and even more on micromanaging your ingame family and moneymaking. Who wants to spend their entire playthrough having to earn gold with the idea that you will need it in order to save the land from a darkness that threatens to kill everybody that you can't afford to keep?
13. Ever played an online game, if yes which one(s)?
Of course I've played an online game- i'm a PC gamer! Umm I'd write a list of games but that would span 85% of this journal.
14. What do you think about ...Tomb Raider?
Never played it, so i couldn't tell ya!
15. ... Tetris?
As a game I don't really care for it- it's simply not a game that I would play for hours. It's okay if you want to play something quick though.
16. ... Sonic?
Despise the entire series- used to play it as a kid for the Sega and even then I didn't enjoy it. Why would i play a platformer about monoeyed hedgehogs that run so fast you can't keep track of what's going on when i could play a good platforming game about space bounty hunters?
17. ... Spyro?
Ehhh, it's an okay game I guess. I would say i enjoyed the original Spyro the most- though i never really followed the game beyond that besides Dawn of the Dragon.
18. ... The Sims?
Recreated my entire family and house to scale- and then the character that represented me decided to cook and burn everything that I just perfected. Sim's Castaway was a decent game though- albeit a little buggy for the Wii. Sometimes the arrow would desync from the wiimote and i would have to force a restart, and also building and then removing blocks didn't reduce the build limit so you would get random fires everywhere despite having everything removed from the area.
19. ... Legend of Zelda?
LOVE IT! It is a perfect balance between combat, puzzle solving, and storyline! The music is memorable, finding new tools and weapons to use at your disposal is exciting, and the characters have always had a spot in my gaming heart!
20. ... Assassin's Creed?
Didn't play it beyond the first AC- and now that i think of it- i didn't even finish Assassin's Creed 1. It was excessively repetitive to the point of boredom in my opinion.
21. GAME OVER!!!
More like YOU DIED. Simply put, i'm more than familiar with death in games- especially the Dark Souls series. I am too DETERMINED to quit!

Any new Zelda or Metroid games- Nintendo needs to give Mario a break lately! Also i'm excited for Terraria Otherworld!

It depends on the game really- not all games are created with a story, and not all games are created with outstanding graphics. However, if i had a preference- it would simply be gameplay, music, and multiplayer!

Racing, sports, and wrestling games- bleugh.. I can't stand em.
9. Prefer PC or Console?
Since I was introduced to Steam, I have been exclusively a PC gamer- all my consoles are gathering dust, and the only console that i would care to play is my Wii because Nintendo distributes their games only for their consoles.
