When you're strange, no one remembers your name
Posted 10 years agoHappy October everyone. Halloween is soon and with it so is 55 hour work weeks for me. I have some festive pieces that should hopefully be done for Halloween week. To those I owe commissions otherwise, they will be finished timely in November. I did not expect work to tackle me so hard like this and owe you all a big favor, please forgive me.

On a side note I find my mind drifting tonight again, as can happen to my psyche often. I'm feeling rather out of body (not in a bad way), I'm thinking over my love life, mistakes I've made, my shitty way of showing others affection. My curiosities in gender fluidity or arising again. Is it being bisexual that makes me feel this way or feeling that way that makes me bisexual? Have you ever felt as though feeling you lack of something in yourself is an inward way of dealing with the beauty you see in others?
Art is a weird thing, I've been realizing the simplest images in life can lead to characters, rich pictures, words, sounds that you want to express, but no farm of art ever really ends up effective enough. I do enjoy what I create, but I don't know if it ever accurately captures the beauty, or ugliness, joy, pain, fear of what I feel and see. It's like there's this numbness to most of your life when that art isn't around and when you think of it, or see it in person it all just floods back. You can spend your whole live chasing the wind with art. You can feel the wind but will never be able to share with others just what it looks like to you.
Why did I write this? I don't know I'm a weird bastard, but I think I've been trying to document my thoughts as a lot of my thought processes can't be explained easily to my friends and loved ones. I'm a chill dude but my mind is a frantic playground. Figured keeping track of it would be beneficial for me and entertaining for some of you, maybe, maybe not xD

Birthday in 10 Days
Posted 10 years agoMy birthday is on April 12 and I just wanted to share my excitement, I’m gonna be 25 which is crazzzzy, I’ve hit a quarter of a century. So I’ll likely do a skype call Saturday the 11th afternoon or sometime before/after that. Not any real point in this journal otherwise just crazy to note I’ve hit my mid-twenties :O
My Opinion on the whole IMVU thing

My presence on FA is very much that of Furry Facebook. I'm only here to stay connected with friends, most of my work is given more attention and credit on SoFurry and InkBunny and I find the drama there far less palpable. I never bothered making a weasyl because I see it as another FA. FA's not bad, but it's not great, I also highly doubt this IMVU partnership will really changed anything.
My two cents.

Posted 12 years agoSo I know the topic's a little early, but I wanna make sure I start planning far ahead. My mate and I REALLY wanna make it to MFF this year, but since I'm moving out I need to find the cheapest way there possible as even saving up for the trip now is gonna be hard.
If anyone has room for a ride share or knows a cheapish way down there please let me know.

Collabs, Trades, and Commissions
Posted 13 years agoI am always on the lookout to do collabs with other writers and artists. I find some of the best work you can come up with is done with a partner, and would love to do some work with others more in the future.
I also really enjoy trades, but I usually just prefer to do it with artists. Depending on whether it’s a sketch or fully colored, I’ll do more pages on my end. I’m always open for trades if I enjoy the artists work because I just find them a fun thing to do.
Lastly in terms of Commissions, I am open for them but my prices are a little high. It’s not that I’m full of myself so much as the large amount of time I spend at work makes it hard for me to find extra time to just write for something that’s not for me. So if anyone wanted a commission I would likely charge $5 a page, but I would make sure it was my absolute best work.
