With the world such a mess, I'm craving a time when things were simpler, folks don't have their faces buried in screens, people dressed nicely, had manners, and kids respected elders with their sentences ending in 'sir" or "ma'am."

I'm craving a time when cars were made of American iron and built to last decades designed with absolute craftwork and inspiration of the Jet and Space Ages.

I'm craving a time when music got you jumpin' and joltin'; the lyrics had meaning and made sense.

I'm craving a time when a man could buy a house and a car on the same day and feed his wife and 5 kids on one job at the factory.

I'm craving a time when America was the unchallenged economic and manufacturing powerhouse of the world. Almost everything today other than computers was there and built right here in the States.

This summer, we're taking a step in a time machine back to the Golden Years of the Nifty Fifties. I'm kicking off an art marathon to walk through this nostalgia now. I was born in 1939 and lived through it all.

I've been toying with the idea of leaving FA since this site has really been going downhill what with the site going down in August and all this drama along with the lack of users and flooding of the site with porn but the question is: When will I leave?

I don't know. I've toyed with the idea of moving to Inkbunny or Weasyl or Dollhouse. 2 of 3 of those sites are even in worse shape.

For now, I will resume uploading art I've been uploading on my DA since late August.

Hey y'all. I'll start uploading art after several months of inactivity. I've got stuff cooking on my tablet and traditional art with Copics. Once I get the scanner set up, I'll upload traditional art as well.
