Changing my name

After 10ish years of having the same name, I'm doing the scary thing and changing it. It's exciting but yes, scary too! As soon as I can make an account here I will be moving over and advertising it, just waiting on that.
I'm now: MinetteFraise!
Basically means Strawberry kitty in french :3
I have many accounts, like :fastrawbsplayroom:, so I'm known by many usernames. This would just be my new "main" name.

Posted 4 years agoBest method: Join my telegram, discord or email mailing list for notifications on commission slot openings.
While I do try to post on all my art galleries, I'm slowly moving towards telegram, discord and email. I have a lot of accounts, so I may not post to them all, and not everyone gets notified of journals on FA, DA, twitter. This makes it easier for both of us! :3

I'm trying to slowly move toward email, telegram and discord for commission announcements. I try to post on twitter, FA, DA, however, many will miss these announcements and I also have quite a few accounts (a main, little and adult account on most sites), which means I may not post openings on all of them.
But it'd be great to move towards the first three options rather then post journals on art galleries! :3 It's just giving it a try for now.

First news: I've changed my name! I will be making a new account on FA asap (It's currently disabled). I'm now known as MinetteFraise. I have many accounts, so I do have other names, like Strawbsplayroom, but this will be my new "main name", just like strawberryneko was! :3

Posted 4 years agoIt's honestly tempting to change my username I'm known for. I kinda don't like I used Japanese for it, I made it when I was 17. Ive totally gotten into the strawberry thing though so I'd like to keep that.
Like, strawberrycat, strawberrykitten, strawberrykitty (all likely taken). Maybe strawberryChaton? French for kitten
But, it's so hard to change names and make new accounts when you've accumulated SO many watchers on one. I don't know if I could do it.
And not all sites let you change your name.

I've been asked about this before; Many people don't check art sites often enough to know when a commission slot is available. So I've decided to make a mailing list! I can send out mass emails to let you know something is open. Things to be aware of:
- There will be limited slots (I plan on taking only 1-2 at a time for a while), and with a lot of people on the list it means there is still a high chance of missing it.
- Sometimes I don't open for timed amounts, I sometimes ask for you to give your information and I pick the slots I'll do, those you would have more time
- These might go to spam, especially since it's new, so you may need to check there.
