So, some updates... If I can focus on all that construction clammer going on across the way from my apartment complex...;; Music time!!

Update numero uno... To save moneys on stuff including my mate's carpel tunnel surgery, I have decided to transfer stores to a closer location about fifteen minutes away as opposed to... Walking distance about two and a half hours. So! I'll need to be looking into that a little more seeing as I just went over there and was told they didn't have any updated information, so I need to talk to my current manager about what the heck is going on seeing as it's been oh... I don't know about... A week and a half by now??

Update numero dos... I haven't been doing a whole lot of drawing because when I draw, I often times like to finish, thusly... Can't because my markers are almost all running low on ink. And I don't have the funds to buy more seeing as we need to save for this out the ass expensive freaking surgery. So again.. Yea... That leads to update thres!!

Update numero thres... I need some commissions. Alas, I never like to ask, but then again how does one get noticed unless one pimps themselves out, right? I've asked a few other fur friends to pimp me out to see if there are any non fur-pervs out there who aren't looking for detailed nasty pics and some drawings that are simply... Simple and cute. But no bites yet, so I figured I'd put out a journal to see if maybe I can get some nibbles.

Not literally, so no nibbling! ...Unless you're a friend of mine, then note me with a nibble, I suppose. ^^;; But, if you know of anyone who wants a cute drawing or anything like that, please send them my way, or refer me to send me a note! If you could, I would really appreciate it! :3

Gotta love it. Plugged the laptop into the tv via hdmi cable, and now I'm standing in front of my dresser, watching the television screen as I type. Wow... Have we become that lazy? XD This is fun...

Well, aside from work, I've been doing a little bit of drawing here and there. I plan on getting back into the swing when I'm not working days/nights at the coal mines. So, hopefully I will be posting up some more stuff soon! Still open for commissions if anyone knows anyone who wants one, or if anyone reading the journal wants one--just hit me up via note and I'm sure I can work something into my schedule!

A friend of my mate's invited us to go along for a small camping trip in Lake Pleasant. We camped one night, but lemme tell ya that was just what the doctor ordered. So, we get lost, make it there and it's not just our friend but her family, her mom, sister and brother and her brother's wife. That made for a real fun weekend! We get there and they're like, "You should go kayaking!" and my mate is like, "Why not? Let's give it a try" and here I am going, "Uhhhhh.... I don't know...." And the next thing I know, I'm yelling, "I'm in a kayak!!" from down the stream a little ways. Let's just say... Now my mate wants to get an inflatable one so we can go back when we want to and kayak some more. She nearly fell asleep that night saying, "Kayak..." ^^;; I have a silly lioness.

At one point, she says, "You need to draw that." and described it, "On a kayak holding up the oars going, I'm on a kayak! Squirrel on a kayak!!" lol so, when I get the chance to, I'm going to use a reference and draw that, since we took plenty, and I mean PLENTY of pictures of this past weekend's camping trip.

I have plenty of time before work, and a hour after work, but we'll see what happens. It left me sunburned and tired, but it was worth it! So worth it! Couldn't keep us out of that kayak, luckily her friend was all, "Don't worry about it, it's my kayak and I get it all the time, have fun and keep going!" ...Two hours later we come back to shore going, "Thirsty and burned! We're done! ...For now.." lol

So anyways, I'm gonna get going so I don't sit around and get too lazy when I'm supposed to be getting ready for work and getting my bike ready for the ride to work. PLENTY OF SUNSCREEN FOR THIS SQUIRREL!!

...Didn't know squirrels liked being out on the water. o.o;; Hehehehe

About four or five days ago, I took a tumble off my bike and hurt my leg. Luckily it wasn't worse than it was, I only sustained some ouchie scrapes on my leg and what feels like a burn because my skin where it's healing over--is sensitive to the touch. Any touch. Got a good nasty chunky scab on my knee where that got scrapped up.

Been drawing here and there, but not a whole lot. I have the day off today, and most of the day tomorrow aside from having to close tomorrow night. Plus side is--work has moved me into the stock room while keeping me in the fitting room most days to balance my hours out and keep me where I've been. Didn't think they'd actually listen to me with that, to be perfectly honest... ^^; So, I've been dealing with that, and work. So thusly, not a lot of drawing.

Found out that Josh Gates (of Destination Truth) has come out with a new show called Expedition Unknown, just today on Netflix and I went nuts. Taking a break with my game The Last of Us, because the main guy; Joel... Is injured beyond any mere sitting and letting the wounds heal, that sucks because I have no first aid kit in his back pack that he just... Swings around effortlessly throughout the whole game. So, I've decided to watch this show instead.

Hmm... In other news, uhh... Well, there's really not much else other than my tumble and work. So...

But so far, in my eyes, hardly any of them are worthy enough to post up. X3;; I know there would be protests and others who would disagree with me, but that's the curse of being an artist, right? So, I'll post up a few regardless of what I think. XDD

Been getting a few extra commissions here and there, so that's awesome! I'm slowly but surely getting recognized! <3 Thanks to all who are behind that!

So, onto a different note; I Facebook spy on an old friend (who opted out of a fifteen year friendship a few years ago) and due to the fact that she had blocked me, I couldn't. We do so through an account that she didn't think to block. So, for S&Gs I went and searched her, and her profile came up in my search, like she'd unblocked me or something.

All I can say is...

CONFUSED!! So confused... I don't get it, and won't think too much into it, nor will I expect anything to come out of it, likely she's Facebook spying on me too, which is okay. I've begun posting more random stuff because of that possible fact. X3 I'm sadistic... What can I say? I want her to see that I'm not suffering from it anymore, and living my life on my own and just fine!

Anyways, I'm done now. Back to my drawing music!! I gotta close tonight, so I may take a nap later on in the afternoon... I'm worn out from all the bike riding to and from work I've been doing. My butt isn't forgiving me, that's for sure... UGH!

Sunday, February 7th, three years ago, an old friend of mine turned and walked away from a fifteen year friendship. I wrote something out, that made a lot of people smile and like it on Facebook. Essentially that's like "favoriting" it, I think. So, I wanted to share it with you all. No worries, it's not sad at all.

Two years ago a friend took with her what she thought would be memories and more. But what she didn't realize is closing that door opened another one into personal strength. I've been able to enjoy day after day without being emotionally held down. I will miss the good times, but all i need there are the pictures and memories in my mind and heart. I still hope that she knows what good came from it. Today i woke up like any other day, didn't roll out of bed and think, "Oh boy, today is that day..." nope, drank my coffee like yesterday and the day before that. Today, i will enjoy the day like all the other days, thankful to be alive and be surrounded by those who love me.

Truly, I woke up that morning and didn't think anything of it being that day three years ago. Just woke up like it was any other day, and that made me feel good that even though the memories (both good and bad) riddle my mind on almost a daily, that I won't let it get to me and be that first thought that comes to mind when I wake up. Nope, that thought was, "Five more minutes..." lol

So, this dumb squirrel hasn't been using her new tablet to it's full potential because of the old Asus not being compatible with the new tablet. Why didn't this dumb squirrel think to go on the new computer--download the proper drive ON SAID NEW COMPUTER, and oh, I don't know... Use it that way? Well, this dumb squirrel finally did just that, and is now using the tablet to its full awesomeness.

Did a couple commissions, one was asked of me, and the other I started off as a random drawing. So, that makes me feel good not only that but makes me feel good to draw again. X3 And that people think it's that good that they'll want to pay me for it.

Anyways, gonna go enjoy more of my day off and maybe my neck will finally stop hurting long enough for me to enjoy my day and kick back some!

Only if I'm snoozing to "Finding Bigfoot". That show has an "eating pickles before bedtime" affect on me when it comes to dreams. They're so weird... Couldn't write any of them out, but I can remember key points. Meaning... Weird enough to wake up and go, "What the hell?"

I believe I was eight or nine when I saw my dad putting presents under the tree in the middle of the night. I asked the next morning, and they told me that they were delivering for Santa (because my sister was so much younger than me) but I knew better but for her sake kept my mouth shut

Been doodling off and on, but working. So, I will get some doodles up as soon as possible.

Took up kick boxing, but the weather and work have both been getting in the way.

Wanting to do this "bravelet" thing, buying a $10 (U.S.) for a bracelet and the ten dollars will go to any cause you want like cancer and such. (Any questions about it, let me know)

Wanted to do a giant 1,000ft water slide but downtown flooded due to the rain yesterday, so it's postponed until further notice. Ugh...

And we plan on having a friend out here next month, so we're looking up flight options and price ranges. So far, no luck in price ranges. Suck... Anyways, I'm done now, those are the updates so far, I will post again soon so squirrel is not dead! Just... Hibernating a bit lol

I've sketched it so far, and plan on working more on it later on this weekend, or next week when I get more days off. Don't know when my days off will be, however. Makes this squirrel tired beyond tired! Oh my goodness I've been a walking squirrel for a long time, but damn lol so sore! And now I have to work the next few days. Not complaining, it's work, but jeez lol! So anyways... Gonna get to relaxing for the night so I can be rested up for tomorrow...

My drawing paw is doing much, much, MUCH better now. Only hurts a little bit if I move the wrong way (which I normally do when I'm checking the fitting room stalls at work) but only a bit, and rarely happens. Other than that, my drawing paw is back! Commissions (currently) are finished, so I can focus on my doodling and other random drawings! Yay!

I've been doing a lot of working, yay... Been trying to stay in the groove of drawing, which, I have been for the most part in the mornings. When I opened four days straight, I carpooled with my mate, and stuck around the Starubucks near where I work for an hour, before going into the store where I work to eat my breakfast and draw some. So, I've been doodling every day to every other day.

Other than working, I've been chilling on my butt and grilling since it's nice out. Grilling is fun! Terriyaki chicken is the bomb! Yummy!

I will post a few pictures from the Bubble Run tomorrow, which I'm going to get up bright and early before the sun rises. Going to need some good tea or some good coffee to help wake me up. x.x;; But, that will be a fun way to wake up, to run or jog or even walk through all these suds. Yea, that's why they call it the Bubble Run, we're literally running through bubbles of various sizes and colors. It will be a BLAST! So, yea.

So, I'm hyper, and my mind is racing all over the place--I think I should change my sheet, it's outdated. Reeeeeeally outdated.

So I did stupid yesterday. I've always been nervous/afraid of big knives, harder (for me) to control, and like all knives--sharp. So, what did I do? I cut my finger. Not bad, thankfully. Oh, it bled, it sure bled. Stung, but didn't hurt really. Surprisingly. I'm surprised that it didn't hurt more. I scratched my finger on the cabinet door to the pantry, and that hurts more.

But luckily... It's not my drawing paw. My drawing paw is healed up pretty much completely. It doesn't hurt anymore, thankfully.

See? My brain is going all over the place.

I have one commission to finish, so when I have the time I plan on drawing by the pool. That will be nice. Or I'll just sketch now. But, I'm having a hard time with poses lately, they're not going quite how I want them to, and that sucks... And it's annoying. Annoying!
