Posted 12 years agoSo I went on a two week road-trip with my family from WA to Wisconsin! I had a BLAST, it was super summery and all fun. (except the part where we drove for hours on end in a hot RV....) but other than that it was awesome!!
So sorry for the influx of posts but I doodled when I could on the trip (I suck at drawing while in the car so I could only do it at nights when we were stationary)
On a side note I am still accepting commissions if anyone wants them.

Bad Art Professor just whatever
Posted 12 years agoI don't know I just feel like I need to say this or whatever.
Our latest art project in class was to paint a composition that shows two sides of your personality, anyway I worked really hard on it even though I was rushed to get it done due to the due date being moved up. And it's really hard for me to admit that I'm a furry to most people, let alone show that side of myself to a whole classroom. But I wanted to push my limits so I did anyway. After freaking out before class I found out my actual professor wasn't going to be there and he had arranged for a sub to be there for our critique.
This guy literally said "if you don't have the skill to paint, don't do it" to more than three people including me.
First of all this is bad advice because the only way you get better is practice, and it's a basic design class too, for half the people in the class it's their first art class ever, how are we supposed to have the skills if we haven't even tried yet? This class was my first experience with seriously painting, of course it's not going to be perfect!
I wanted CONSTRUCTIVE criticism and tips on how to do better not to be told I suck.
He was a real ass hat about the whole thing. Critiques are supposed to be constructive not plain hurtful. He tore everyone a new one it was pretty bad.
I dunno just felt like ranting I guess

Posted 12 years agoso lately I've been wanting a project to do, and I really had fun making my fuzzbutt yarn tail for Rainfurrest last year and I kind of want to make another one. I didn't know if any of my watchers out there would be interested in commissioning one from me? I'm not totally sure of the pricing but it would be the cost of materials plus a bit more depending on the complexity and size of the tail.
Let me know guys I want to make a tail with a purpose rather than just a senseless project!!!!

I just want to know what you guys like to see from me. You can request specific poses or suggest topics or themes and whatnot if you'd like.

I'm taking an intro art class at college level cause the only art class I've ever taken was bad :/ and I'm getting my Motion Computing tablet computer in the mail soon!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited to not have to use my mouse for digital stuff anymore!!!!

I super need to start making some money for rent because my tiny town says
"what? Jobs? what are these things you speak of?"
I've already tried asking people if they want commissions and I've gotten no replies but it doesn't hurt to ask again right?
I would charge super cheap prices, $5 for a one character full body drawing (like pretty much everything in my gallery but I would ditch the lined paper)
If you wanted something flat colored I could do that too, or even just inked without the color I'm not sure on the pricing for those but we can cross that bridge if we ever get there.
I would love your support and it makes me feel good drawing for other people too ^-^
Just let me know if you want anything, and let other people know I'm open too~

so I figured I could write a journal or two when I got bored.
So, I bought myself a brand new tablet right? my roommate broke the pen, denies the fact that she did, and REFUSES to replace my pen. I am beyond angry >OO (I was all excited to start practicing on my tablet TT^TT)
well I'm going to try and get it fixed and hopefully I won't have to buy a new pen.
but yeah, in a nutshell... Pissed, end of story.
