Straylight Studio has been very quiet over the last year or so. This is largely due to personal reasons but we are PROUD to announce that we aim to start taking commissions again in mid September!

Greetings, ladies and gentleman! The New Year is quickly approaching and we here at the Studio are really looking forward to new horizons and new costumes in the coming year! Some of you have been patiently waiting for an announcement on when we will open for commissions and as long as the job is working towards getting goes through Straylight Studio will be opening for commissions in early 2015! With this exciting news we do have a few bullet points that all of you should be aware of.

- Straylight Studio will NO LONGER be accepting commissions with a DEADLINE. NO EXCEPTION. This is due to stress level and the fact that we here at the studio would rather focus on providing our commissioners with quality product as opposed to something that may be rushed along to meet a deadline.

- Straylight Studio will NOT be accepting full fursuit commissions when we first open. We will accept piece commissions, however for ALL pieces EXCEPT for body suits. (IE Heads, tails, paws, feet, sleeves, etc) Again this is to help keep stress levels down as we settle into our new way of doing things.

- We will only be accepting THREE slots at first and WILL NOT open again until the three items within those slots are completed.

- We will be releasing a new TOS shortly before we open. Please take time to read and familiarize yourself with our new terms before posting any questions or asking for a commission slot.

Hello one and all! We here at Straylight Studio have been receiving a great deal of questions and interest in our product of the last few weeks and we are THRILLED there are so many of you looking to commission us! We are, however, NOT OPEN FOR COMMISSIONS at this time. If you are interested in a fursuit or any other kind of costume type of thing please feel free to NOTE THE STUDIO PAGE (NOT ) or send us an e-mail at straylightstudiocrafts@gmail.com. Please include a reference of your character from at least two angles or a SOLID idea of what costume piece you would like. Please also take time to read Straylight Studio's TOS BEFORE making any kind of contact.

A quote does NOT gurantee a spot on the commission list when commissions open. When the studio opens there will be VERY minimal slots and pieces to be worked on will be chosen at random.

There is NO DATE set for the Studio to re open for commissions at this time. The owner is currently focusing on more important aspects of her life and does NOT have the time to dedicate to turning high quality full costumes at this time.

Straylight Studio Terms of Service for Fursuits

- All commissioners must be at LEAST 18 years of age or older.

- ONLY US Currency is accepted.

- Straylight Studio reserves the right to deny service to any potential client.

- We do NOT take commissions for adult fursuits (IE any suit made with strategically placed holes/zippers or Suits intended for sexual acts)

- Straylight Studio reserves all rights to use any and all pictures and videos of costumes for advertising, portfolio, or personal use.

- Straylight Studio is NOT held accountable for any injury, property damage, or fatality caused by misuse of one of the studios costumes.

- By commissioning Straylight Studio the client agrees to all terms and conditions

COMMISSIONS

- Completion dates and quotes are subject to change.

- Prices are NON NEGOTIABLE.

- Quoted price will NOT change after work has begun.

- Commission Slots are reserved only after a customer has payed for at LEAST half of costume

- Absolutely NO copyrighted characters (However I do make fire dragons, water tortoises, and plant toads)

- A 50% NON REFUNDABLE down payment is due before a commission slot is guaranteed.

- If a commission is made and costume must be completed in UNDER a month time frame a $150 rush fee will be added to existing costume cost.

- Quotes do NOT include shipping and handling of suit.

- Quotes can only be guaranteed for one (1) month after they are given.

- A duct tape dummy must be provided for plantigrade and digitgrade fullsuits.

- A trace of customers hand must be given as well for any commission involving gloves and shoe size is required for all feet.

- Work on clients product will not begin until AFTER all required measurements and amenities are received.

- Shipping and handling of duct tape dummy and hand trace are at commissioners expense.

WARRANTY

-Straylight Studio has a one year warranty for all suits.

- If there is a problem or defect with the suit that is a result of builder error the piece can be returned to Straylight Studio at commissioners expense for repairs.

- Straylight Studio is NOT responsible for any damage caused to a costume by roughhousing, improper use, weather, negligence, exposure to heat, full submersion in chlorinated or non chlorinated water, acts of God, smoking, or sexual acts.

- If the suit has been modified by any one person or company besides Straylight Studio for any reason the warrenty is VOID.

- Fursuit must be laundered before any work is done. If Straylight Studio receives a dirty costume it will be returned to commissioner at their expense for washing.

- Straylight Studio does NOT offer cleaning services.


We also offer non fursuit costume and cosplay commissions!
