So as most of you have heard recently, my grandmother has been sick in hospital since the beginning of November. She passed away peacefully Tuesday morning at 2:30am. It started as liver cancer. It was aggressive and quickly spread to her surrounding organs, eventually causing her kidneys and heart to fail.

I was fortunate enough to be able to say goodbye to her in her final hours with us and even earn forgiveness for some things I wasn't so proud of that involved her in my life.

Yes, I'm hurt. Yes, I miss her. But she is in a place now where she will no longer hurt and is joined by her late husband, late sister, her daughter and one of my brothers.

If I seem distant for a while, now you know why.

As if this last month hasn't been difficult enough.. I woke up on Saturday to this lovely scene on my iMac work station.

So now, I'm unable to work digitally even if I were able. I have information backed up to an external drive, so those waiting for work need not worry. I have it saved!

I can replace the hard drive, but it needs time for me to save for. These last few months have been really hard on me already. Not just financially, but otherwise as well. Now I have more reason to get these slots full.

Hello Everyone-

Some of you may have noticed my lack of being around- posting, streaming and all that..

Not only have I been dealing with the lasting side effects of my concussion from back in August- This last month, my Nana was put into the hospital for what was first considered a liver infection, causing jaundice.. After some testing, it was discovered that my last living grandmother at what I feel is a young age of 76- was diagnosed with Liver cancer.

It's been two weeks since that diagnosis.. She was supposed to go home today, but is instead bound to her hospital bed. The cancer has spread from her liver to her surrounding organs and is continuing to do so, causing her to bleed internally.

We're not exactly sure how long she has left, but we know it's not long.. I'm close to my grandmother. having all of this happen so suddenly is a shock to both my system and my psyche.

With all this being said, please forgive my absenteeism. And many thanks to what I know will be the utmost support from those of you that are close to me.


Work is still being done, just at a slower pace these last couple weeks.. I bring it with me wherever I can to get even just a little done at a time.


Sick family or not, work still needs to get done.. bills need to get paid.. The world doesn't stop spinning.. As heartbroken as I am, I will push on.

So, Halloween is coming. It's one of my favourite times of the year, Festively.

I've got ONE WEEK to fill my slots for the month of October to make my rent.

I've been working hard to complete the current traditionals I have on list and will be posting completed versions of some soon.

My doctor had said my headaches with computer screens after concussion for long periods is unfortunate but normal. To this day since the beginning of August, I've been unable to sit at my computer for longer than 30-40 mins without experiencing a headache to some degree. Most times they're pretty bad. (I'm creating this journal on my iPhone right now, which seems to be easier on my head for longer periods, but still effects me to some degree.)

Hello, Lovelies!

It's been forever and a day since I've posted work, it seems. But for good reason. Since my fall a month ago (approximately), I've been experiencing reoccurring headaches. My biggest trigger is sitting at a computer or watching TV too long. Even being on my phone for too long gives me a headache. Just today, I had a headache that made my right eye water.

So although the initial injury has improved, headaches from concussions can last for weeks, months and even years. I'm hoping not that long!!! I miss being in cyberspace with you all.

For now though, my work will be available Traditionally. I'll be posting some work soon that's been done as I complete my WIPs.

To my clients awaiting digital work; my deepest apologies, but due to my headaches, digital work is on hold. You're most welcome to request your work to be done on paper if it has not yet already been started digitally, at no extra cost unless you're upgrading. Then just the normal additional costs would occur.

It's currently the 21st. I need to send rent from PayPal by the 25th this month to be on time. Due to all of the drama and medical issues this month, I haven't really been at home or able to work digitally. So my Paypal is sitting quite low from my goal. (See journal header)

Don't worry, it's not related to my last two journal issues.


I ended up in the hospital this afternoon, after fainting and hitting my head on the floor after standing too quickly. It's a well known fact about me, to those who know me well, that I have Hyperglycemia along with chronic low blood pressure.

Today was just that ONE day that I happened to collapse.

So, My head hurts, my neck is beginning to get stiffer.. And I'm exhausted.

I do have a hospital bracelet for clients who need 'Doctors Notes'.. Yes, it's happened before. And I don't blame you.

I'm still accepting slots for traditional works, especially now, since sitting at my desk to stare at a computer screen won't be possible for some time.

In my last journal, I had notified everyone that my life situation isn't the safest it could be currently.. So I've been away from home and unable to work at my desk for digital stuff.

Hello Everyone- Clients and watchers alike.

These days have been busy and full of fun and a lot of drama.

The last three days of which have been stupidly stressful and have nearly pushed my anxiety to the max. I've been exhausted and completely out of it due to threats by a neighbor towards myself and the safety of my family.

The proper channels have been taken to ensure our safety. Until then, I will be accompanied by volunteer friends and family members over the next week or so just to assist keeping an eye on things while they normalize, or just in case things get worse.

I will continue working on and off during all this. Mostly traditional sketches and inks and what have you, since it's easier to take with me wherever I go, since I'm now away from home more often these days.
