This is NOT a vent journal, but rather just something to keep everyone on track with where I've been and why I haven't been around..

I've had 0 motivation and my legs have felt like bags of sand. Getting out of bed has been a chore lately and I've been struggling to get much of anything done. This of course also effects my productivity level. I've been trying to fight it, but of course it just makes it worse.

But tonight I have no choice- I have 7 days to make what I need for rent and bills that I'm already behind on.


SO- I'll be offering some sketches and chibis- things with a fast turnaround time. Feel free to come drop in to watch or ask questions. C:

I just want to let people know that I'm not ignoring them by any stretch of the imagination, for those of you who have been contacting me with commission related questions.

Lately my grandmother has ended up in hospital with a horrible infection and since she's pretty far away I haven't been able to see her or get very many updates from my distant family.

Because of this and severe art block/lack of motivation for much, I've ended up depressed and constantly tired.

I'm open to suggestions to help me out of this- Tonight I'm going to try to do some wing-it sketches to help beat it, but we'll see.. I've been trying to kick my own ass into gear, but it just doesn't work.


On a better note, I had a vision of a new facial structure for the standard iic'horrin- So the species will probably get an update or, if I can think of other things to update on them, possibly the release of a new subspecies.

This last weekend was a huge disaster for my province's lower mainland area, with wind storms that were strong enough to rip up shingles, knock over rooted trees and knock out power to nearly 200,000 500,000 people.

My buildings were fortunate enough to be untouched, power wise, but the trees and surrounding areas cannot say the same.

This week is going to be touch and go for me, as I may do some charity work locally for those who lost food in their fridges that have been without electricity for nearly 42 hours now.

Parts of my family, including four of them on disability benefits, have been effected by this and lost all of the perishables in their fridges; $100s of dollars of food has spoiled, no longer edible.

I'm offering work and taking donations to ae_McKay[at]Hotmail.com to assist my family members with groceries for the next two weeks.

Aiming to get about $300- any extra money will be put towards canned food and given to the local food bank to help others in the same situation.

First of all, I want to thank those of you who gave their sympathies and support to us yesterday as our son was undergoing treatment for the effects of his illness.

Today he is doing far better and seems to be getting back on the right track.

Now I need help closing up some loose financial ends that I haven't been able to recently, having to take some family time out.

Just letting my watchers know that tonight's stream will be late or possibly a no show this evening.

I've brought my son into the pediatrics unit at the local ER for treatment of severe dehydration.

For the last week he's been down with a really nasty stomach bug that's causing him much grief and bathroom runs... Its gotten so bad that he's started to turn down solids and even fluids.

He's been stabilized and had an IV placed along with oral hydration treatment.

Will keep you all informed.
