Wow, I have not posted here in like six years. It's been a wild ride, especially since the pandemic. For some fun updates, I came out as trans right before the pandemic hit and been on hrt for about a year and a half. I have also been working on learning art by drawing daily and doing the DrawABox lessons and I really feel like I'm improving.

On less fun news, I was laid off in August and have been working on finding a job since then. It's been rough since then and is keeping me from cons and most other activities.

Short and sweet life update and I hope everyone else is doing well.

Hey guys, I don't ask for a lot but I need some help. My sister is a special ed teacher at two elementary schools. She sent me a message that she has two kids this year that really like the new MLP, one likes Rainbow Dash and the other likes Applejack. She is trying to find rewards to give them to encourage them to open up and do their work. I am crocheting a rainbow dash and an applejack but I'm asking for assistance on ideas. I printed some pony portal stickers as well.

If anyone has any ideas that would be great.

So first up I have a new tumble. Well it's my old tumble that I have repurposed for crocheting ponies. It's at http://crochetponies.tumblr.com/ I will still post ponies here but not as many and probably not the wip's.

Also, when I hit 50 followers one of my followers well get a free random crochet pony from what I have on hand at the time.

I will do these at specific landmarks like maybe 100 followers or more.

After Fiesta Equestria I will open up for commissions. These can be original characters or show characters. They will range from 30 to 60you depending on complexity.

This weekend I got a ton done. You can see how much on my tumble. Unfortunantly rarity mane and tail take forever so she's not done.

So first up I'm moving next week. It won't be far from where I currently live but probably no updates next weekend.

Next up I'd love to hear some critiques on my ponies and are there any people would like to see? All of these will be going to Fiesta Equestria next month in Houston so if you would like them you can grab one there. I've only been crocheting for about a month and a half so I hope these are coming out ok. I think they are getting better as I go along. I would like to make another Fluttershy that actually looks correct and is the right size.

Finally, since I want to get better at crocheting I will offer 5 slots and each person can only take up one. I will crochet your original character (no cannon characters please) for material costs and shipping. Yarn runs between $3 and $5 per color and shipping runs about $5 as well. This means for a simple design like Big Mac, Fluttershy, or Derpy your looking at around $15 dollars for a hand made crochet pony of your OC. Keep in mind that I sell the cannon characters for $40-$50 a piece depending on complexity.

I will most likely work on these after the convention but if I have time I might be able to make a couple before it. You have two options when it comes to yarn. You can either let me purchase it at one of the stores near me or you can buy online from a yarn supplier and have them ship it to me.

Reply to this journal with a link of your pony to be considered. I'm posting this kind of late so I don't want to do first come first serve. I will choose ponies that I can make in a timely fashion but also provide a challenge. If you want the more accurate eyes I need a vector of the eyes, and if the cutie mark is complicated I suggest a vector of that as well (I do not need either of those at the time I choose to make the pony). If you don't give me vectored art of the eyes they will be the safety eyes, and if I don't get a vector of the cutie mark I will sew it in (see Pinkie Pie).

So first things first, I will not be able to make any furry con's this year. This comes down to not having the money or time. I will be making Fiesta Equestria in June though and I will have a table where I will be selling all my awesome pony merch. I will also be making San Japan and Anime Odyssey though I won't have a table for San Japan.

Speaking of pony merch, I am learning to crochet. I have made some simple plush balls that will become parasprites but I really want to make ponies. I've been crocheting a little over a week now so any pointers or patterns to try would be amazing. I should have some pictures up as soon as i get felt for the wings.

If you haven't seen the Build-a-Bear ponies they are great though I need to figure out how to tame their manes.

So lifes been rolling on. Got a small promotion at work which kinda helps but just as that happens my car has died and i need a new one which i cant currently afford.

This is part of the reason ive been pushing the buttons and other merchandise i have. My goal is to sell 1000 buttons which would cover the deficite i will currently have in the car im looking at. Until then i m driving my car until it catches on fire. But yeah thats what the repair guys said.

Hey everypony. So I just posted up my very first pony portal button set and I got a huge response about how to purchase them.

The easiest way to purchase from me would be to go to www.cutiemarks.com (my etsy store) and place an order. all of my portal buttons come in sets of 2 buttons for $3. This includes one orange portal and one blue portal.

I can also make non pony buttons or take custom art you already have and turn it into a button.

So if you've seen my recent pieces you know I've started embroidery. I'm using a single needle Brother se-400 for all of my work. I'm currently using brother software for digitizing but really want a higher end software. I also want to sell enough patches to pay off this machine and get the $1200 6 needle machine to allow me to do more collors quickly. This will reduce prices of most patches.

If anyone is interested in me trying something let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Haven't been around in a while cause I'm super busy with work and my new side business. We can etch glass, wood, metal, and leather with almost any line drawing. Right now we are producing a set of MLP shot glasses and a beer mug. The full set will be 6 shot glasses with the mane 6 cutie marks and 1 beer mug with Luna and Celestia's cutie marks, one on each side. We are also working on a wooden box inlaid with silk with a laser carved top to hold your shot glasses.

Individually the shot glasses will go for $8.50 a piece and the mug at $15.00. As a set, without the box the set will go for $60.00. That's $6.00 off if you buy the set instead of all the glasses individually.

All our images are drawn by one of our artists and made into vectors for only the highest quality product. We use a 75 watt laser to etch the items and then go back and hand polish each one.

We are in the process of running the first test now and will have it up soon, but in the mean time check out what I already posted.

Well flying out to SF tomorrow to see my brother. Will be there till Monday. For all the times I've been to FC i never had the time or oprotunity to get down to San Francisco so this should be fun, I get to be all touristy.

First off I don't have any plans to make a con any time soon. I'm really busy with work and just can't afford it right now.

Now on to other happier things. I've graduated with my second degree in computers, network maintenance this time. I'm working at a really great company now in south Texas. I'm a paid intern at the moment but hope to get a full time job once the internship is over. I started the internship a couple months before I graduated so I'm locked in until August.

I'm flying up to St. Louis this weekend to help my sister drive back to Texas for the summer. Then the weekend after that I'm heading to San Francisco to visit my brother for five days. I think I'll be seeing a furry friend or two while I'm there so if you want to meet up and I have the time let me know.

Hey everyone! This week I have started learning python programing language along with wxpython for the GUI side. I need to make a ticket that can be called over the intranet at work and then submitted to us via email. I can create a GUI with buttons and menus and such but I seem to be a bit short on knowledge for really fleshing it out completely. If anyone knows python or some code that could help me in this venture please let me know.

So thanks to Autumn I've become a little addicted to the new My Little Ponies. I love Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy. if you haven't watched it yet the songs are great and the characters are really adorable. Plus it makes your life about 20% cooler.

On less pony related news I'm working at Rackspace now and it's really great. It's the best job I've ever had, even if it's just a lot of testing. I'm hoping to get a full time job there once its all said and done.

Well I just had the interview and it went really well. I'm so excited, I can't wait to start.

Ok so today is my big interview and it's over the phone. I hate phone interviews cause they freak me out and make me nervous. Not being able to have a person physically there asking these questions is odd because it's more difficult to get feedback right away. But what's really freaking me out is that they will be asking technical questions and I have no idea what they'll ask except that it will be about windows and possibly instillation. Without a computer or at least a little time it's hard especially with my ADHD. I find it very easy to take in information and use that information to fix problems unfortunately trying to spit that answer back out in a form that someone can understand is really hard for me. I really hope I don't blow this.

First I want to thank everyone who sent there condolences to myself and my family, it really means a lot during this grieving process that we are going through right now. I am so blessed and honored to have so many good friends and family that have been with us through this most difficult time. So thank you all again.

Now for cheerier news. This last week, while everything was happening with my grandmother and family I received an email from a very large data and web hosting company here in town that I've been offered a paid internship at there business. Tomorrow I have a short phone interview with them and then hopefully I will know for certain that I will be working there. This is a dream job and company that I've been wanting to get on with for sometime now so I am very excited about this opportunity.

Not only am I completely alone, my grandmother unexpctantly passed away this morning. I am grateful it was while she was asleep but i'm so sad and heartbroken right now.. I don't think this day will get any better nor do i think it's possible to get much worse cause this is really the worst day i've had in probably forever. At least when my other grandmother passed two years ago we knew she was leaving us in a day or two. This time though we thought she would at least be able to come home for a couple weeks or more.

Well I have a couple things to talk about tonight, first is YouTube, yep that's right you may have noticed that I'm back posting videos after a 2 yeah hiatus. Finally, project time. I know I'll be returning to school in a week but I wanted to get his going. Again it's involving YouTube as that is where I would be posting this. I would really like to try and post a weekly vlog in fursuit but I'm not sure how I would go about doing this without talking, and it's really clunky to use ASL with paws. If you have any ideas please let me know this is one of my new year goals to try and do.

Im lost in the labrinth of suffering and have met the minitar and his name is Norm.

So if you have seen some of my posts around the web or have talked to me recently you know that I'm in a fencing class at my college. For the past couple of weeks we have been in fencing brackets and today the results are in. I'm the number one fencer in the class. This means that on Monday I will be fencing the number one fencer of the MWF class for a medal. I'm so excited, I've never been good at any sport before, especially 1 on 1 sports like fencing or tennis.
