decided that since ill be working on some premade heads at college, i might as well open for five slots this summer (not open now, please dont note me). all the heads made at college can be purchased for summer completion if you see one you like/if it fits the character you would like to have made. Note that my head armatures are at my home, not with me, so heads made at college will be foam base.

Final partial fursuit pricings

Quotes are NOT open; they will be open from mid March to mid April. These prices are for general understanding of how much you will have to pay.
(as a side note; I'll be working on foam base fursuit heads during college; these, once finished, can be purchased for a down payment of $200 and will ensure a slot for summer completion. the $200 will be included in the base suit price. the down payment is NON REFUNDABLE)
Base suit (head, tail, hand paws) - $500-$700
Foam/balaclava head base – included in base price
Feet paws - $70 (if shoes available) $90 (if shoes must be purchased myself)
Arm sleeves - $50
Small tail (1 ft or under) – included in base price
Medium tail (up to 3 ft) - $75
Large tail (4 ft and above) - $100+
*Balaclava base heads will be made on an armature
*Hand paws four (4) fingered only
*NON REFUNDABLE %30 of full price must be sent before production of suit may start. This is to pay for materials. The suit must be paid IN FULL before the final product will be shipped
*A DTD (duct tape dummy) is required for arm sleeves. This must be shipped before production of the suit can begin

getting my tablet fixed, opening badges next week hopefully

General | Posted 10 years agoim currently working on a pricing sheet for the suits. The basics so far are $500-$600 as a base, just for the partial. Theres going to be different pricing for different length of tails, if you want arms and feet (and if you can provide the shoes), as well as things like styled eyes, possibly four or five fingered paws, claw pricing and such. Nothing is final right now, I'll be posting information about this when I actually create the commission post in april or may. Of course, like most makers do, there will be a percentage deposit that won't be refundable. This money is used for the materials. Furs, foam, anything that a suit needs in the start.
Im also planning on taking only two or three suit commissions (I don't want to overwhelm myself), and I wasn't going to make it first come first serve; at least first time around. If we talked before, you have first and foremost for a slot. Regardless, when I have the time like this summer, I can finish suits very quickly. In general, I can finish a suit in estimates of two weeks, but while working on three they may take up to a month or two, as I'll be working on all three interchangeably.
As a reminder; my suits are still very much experimental. I like to try different things on every one of my suits, and im learning more and more with each one. Theres different styles I would love to try; things like how to cut and shape foam, clava and foam based heads, different paw shapes and tail straps. This is just something that you'll have to keep in mind when possibly getting a suit. I havent found my style yet, but Im getting there! I do think, for now, my heads will have a clava base. theyre so much lighter and allow more airflow, as well as theyre generally smaller and look much better as a partial!
Another thing i wanted to mention is that I am planning on setting up and taking some simple badge commissions! head shots of the character with your expression of choice and their name on one side of the shot. These wont be printed and will instead be emailed, thus making them a bit cheaper. They will have a black outline with white space separating it from the actual headshot, as well as a keychain loop that can be punched out before lamination.

General | Posted 10 years agoso this break was a lot busier than i thought. lots of family things, less time to work on suits (all of them are still in the works, one nearly done but probably won't be in time to be sold). pretty much no time to check on any of my emails which was annoying.

Back to work! three suits planned
General | Posted 10 years agoim back home for the holiday season, which means its back to work for me! i have three suits planned on finishing over this month, but I hope to just finish two at least if anything
Haha is already planned, and a cat for the second, and another canine for the third
im planning on ordering three more clavas tonight, and carving a few things as well. if i can get everything carved up before the clavas get here itll make my life a whole lot easier
as for anthrocon, I'll be registering for that soon enough. im planning on making a toriel cosplay (from undertale!) for anthrocon this year!
