FCN 2012
Posted 14 years agoI will be there apparently. After telling my non-furry friend about my weekend. We decided to hit up FCN as its a smaller con, I've nothing but good things about it, and so he can get a slight idea of what goes on at Fur Cons. So yes, BFAB Group will be invading FCN 2012! Now taking applications for roomies!
MFF 2011 Post Con
Posted 14 years agoI always keep these short and sweet. The con was amazing! Got to meet a lot of people that I'd only known online through IMs and such. Happy to see
mestophoicon: If I'm forgetting you, its not intentional. I saw A LOT of people this con. I will be uploading some fun pictures I took at the con. They're probably gonna look shitty, but thats thanks to my fagtastic phone. Anywho, had a blast, gonna definitely be there next year!

Where are you staying?
Con hotel
What day are you getting there?
Thursday Evening
How long are you going?
Thursday through Monday
Who will you be with?
Me n' my crew.
What is your gender?
Male
How old are you?
By then, I'll be 25
How tall are you?
6'4"
What suits will you have?
StrongPawz
Can I touch you?
Hugs, yes. Handshakes, yes. Everything else, I would need to know you. Random "touchings" aren't really appreciated, and may get ya bonked one.
Can I talk to you?
Of course! Always willing to meet any and all furs!
Can I take pictures with you?
Sure!
Are you nice?
Yes, I'm nice. I've got a dark and crude sense of humor at times, so if I say something involving a swear word...it happens. If I don't like you or don't want to be around you, I have enough of a backbone to tell you.
Are you cliquey?
Nah, I've graduated High School.
Can I stalk you?
Can I punch you in the face?
Can I buy you lots of drinks?
2/3 German, 1/6 Irish, 1/6 Scottish. What the hell do you think?
Can I hug or snuggle you?
Hugs are more then welcome! Snuggles not so much. Outside of the "hello" hug, I'm not a touchy, feely person.
Do you do trades?
I tend to trade art for soda/booze a lot (Ifus lol)
Do you have an artist table?
Nope
Do you like parties?
Sometimes, I do. Depends on if I go with people I know or not.
What should I not do around you?
Just follow whats posted above. And don't be a fluffy cloud pain in the ass.
If I see you, how should I get your attention?
Call out my name "Strong," "Paws," or "StrongPawz." Please, feel free to come up and say Hi. But, please, please, please don't be offended if I ask where I know you from? I'm absolutely shitty with names, so I may need a jolt to muh knoggen.

Facebook Fun Edition 1
Posted 14 years agoA few fun quotes from my Facebook page I was bitched at to share:
Thoughts so far today "Scotch....scotch...scotch...drenching yourself in that shitty body spray is not a substitution for bathing...scotch...scotch...its a handshake, not a wrestling match....scotch...scotch...no, I don't care about when you found Jesus...scotch..." I'm ready to go home.
C-3P0 walks like a cocaine mule in an International Airport
Its Thursday and Andrew W.K. is still creepy.
The more of the show I watch, the more I think Mr. Bean was Autistic.
I keep having this waking nightmare...and then its the weekend finally.

Happy Halloween, ya'll!
Posted 14 years agoHope everyone has a great All Hallows Eve this year! Looks like the trick-or-treaters are getting screwed this year with it being on a Monday (Halloween should ALWAYS fall on a Friday or Saturday). While I'm not doing much to celebrate today, I will be at my "Halloween Ain't Over/Birthday Party" here in a few weeks. Have a great day, kids!

No Work Cost Fursuits!
Posted 14 years agoMy good friend
blisk is making fursuits with no work cost. Whats that mean? That means you pay for supplies only, no labor. Get a suit at a fraction of the price! Between $200 and 260 for a partial. Note her on her FA about the suits for all prices!

Posted 14 years agoSo, BFAB has decided that we want to put out a line of T-Shirts. We initially tried CafePress (Lesson learned, they suck) and all of our designs were deleted by their Bawcycle Admin Gang for being "too offensive." So, we're looking for another hosting site that will print our "Offensive" shirts. Anyone know of any sites that don't have a stick up their butt about shirt content? We're looking for a place that will print our designs, not take them. Please let me know if you know of any!
Personality thing...
Posted 14 years agoStole this from that
fool. Tell me if ya think its even close to being accurate:
Aesthetic
You appreciate art, beauty, and design; you know that they are not superficial but absolutely crucial to living the good life. You have good taste, and you're proud of it. Those with a high score on the "aesthetic" trait are often employed in literary or artistic professions, enjoy domestic activities — doing things around the house — and are enthusiastic about the arts, reading, and travel.
You don't think it's pretentious to be moved by art and beauty. You're not one of those who believe it doesn't matter what something looks like as long as it does its job.
Creative
You are good at solving problems, coming up with original ideas, and seeing connections between things, connections that most other people miss. People with a high score on the "creative" trait often are employed in such fields as finance and scientific research, and enjoy avant garde and classical music as well as literary fiction and scholarly non-fiction.
You do not shun abstractions and concepts in favor of the concrete and tangible.
Curious
You like to get to the bottom of things. You're not content knowing what someone did; you want to know why they did it.
You don't simply take things as they are and move on; you're not content skimming along on the surface; you don't feel you're wasting time by digging for the meaning of things.
Intellectual
You are thoughtful, rational, and comfortable in the world of ideas. People find you interesting to talk to. You're the living embodiment of the saying "You learn something new every day." In general, those with a high score on the "intellectual" trait are employed in such fields as teaching and research, and are enthusiastic about reading, foreign films, and classical music.
You do not avoid abstract conversation, experimenting with new ideas, or studying new things. It bores you to stick to the straight and narrow of what you already know.
Accessible
You're comfortable expressing yourself in words and actions, with no self-censorship. You believe that if someone doesn't like what they see it's not your problem, but theirs. A high score on the "accessible" trait suggests that you have a lot of friends, socialize often, and enjoy rap/hip-hop music.
You don't see the need to keep your thoughts to yourself, or to have a zone of privacy that encompasses only yourself and a small circle of friends and relatives.
Prudent
You look before you leap, think before you act, consider what you're about to say before you open your mouth to speak; that's why you rarely have to eat your words.
You usually don't get excited easily or blurt out the first thing that comes to mind without considering the consequences.
Calm
You rarely become irritated, generally accept people as they are, take things as they come, and feel relaxed in most situations.
You do not let a minor annoyance escalate to a confrontation. You don't regularly snap at those around you or fly off the handle with little provocation.
Warm
You have a genuine interest in other people. You're a natural host, and are always thinking about how you can increase the happiness of those around you. When friends have problems or are in trouble, you're usually the first person they turn to for aid and comfort. Scoring high on the "warm" trait suggests that you are among those who enjoy domestic activities — doing things around the house — and are enthusiastic about charitable work, helping others, and making the world a better place.
You don't always say exactly what you're thinking; you don't like the idea of causing anyone pain because of your criticism.
Understanding
You are willing to take the time to find out what's going on with other people, especially if they're in distress. You're a good listener, you don't criticize, and you offer unbiased, respectful, honest advice when it's requested. With a high score on the "understanding" trait, it is likely that you are enthusiastic about charitable work, helping others, and making the world a better place.
You don't feel the need to impose your standards on others or say things that, even though true, cause pain.
Empathetic
You are in touch with your own feelings, which helps put you in touch with the feelings of others.
You don't buy the logic that your happiness comes ahead of everyone else's because unless you're happy you're incapable of making anyone else happy.

New Nickname
Posted 14 years agoI've just been informed by a close friend that his mom's nickname for me is "Gingerbitch Cookie." ...I approve of this.
Alright, clear the air here, kids.
Posted 14 years agoNo, I am not dead. Everything is friggen fine! I started work this week, and by time I get home in the evening I am so wiped out, I'm usually getting in bed between 6 and 7 PM EST. Now, it is touching to know that I have people worried about me when I get online and get IMs from people who're wigging tits about my absence. But, no, I am fine, I'm just working. You can pretty much count on not seeing or hearing much from me Monday through Thursday.
As far as work is concerned, I can definitely say that I'm going to be losing a fair amount of weight by Christmas, plus, I am loving having the structure of a job back in my life. After a 4 year stretch of being unemployed, I am eating this up like candy!
Although, I did discover a new phobia I have. When someone's child calls me "Daddy" or any variant of the word absolutely horrifies me. Icy...cold..pure..terror! DO NOT WANT!
Anyway, wanted to give the update to ya'll.
Much Love!

Life Update n' such
Posted 14 years agoWell, its been awhile since I've posted anything about whats going on with yours truly, so I figured what the hell, its too hot and humid to go outside, why not updates my peeps on FA? Thats right, you're my last resort. :P
So, I am now employed. My job will be starting around August 15th, so MFF is looking good from that. As well, I'm going to try and find a second part time job so I can kill myself with work and when I'm old and decrepit I'll have the right to bitch at my non-existent grandchildren about having to work two jobs, seven days a week. Walking to work up hill both ways in seven feet of snow, even in the summer. Obviously, I'm just being my normal wise ass self about this. I am very happy and thankful that I've found a job, because I do realize how difficult the job market is still, regardless what those douchebags on capital hill say.
I've also started doing photography again, as those of you who follow my submissions have already seen. Please bare with me, I'm rusty since I can't remember the last time I did photography. But, you can expect to see more photos soon. Also, I've also added some of the BFAB group stuffs that we've done recently. If you'd like to see more of our stuff, feel free to check us out on:

And if you watch our skits, please like/comment/spread 'em around like herpes!
Well, that's about all I have for now, take 'er easy, ya'll!

Posted 14 years agoThanks for calling, btw, fuck you :)
Posted 14 years ago"Thank you for calling your student loan company. Please bend over and spread your cheeks and a douchebag who doesn't know how to do their job will be with you shortly."
Seriously, you would think there would be more jobs out there since it seems that anywhere I go or call anymore, people are nothing but uninformed, 1,000 yard stare having, douche bags who can't do their jobs! Now, I'm a very laid back guy, and I don't let a lot of stuff bother me that I probably should. But this shit is just ridiculous! Either its mis-information or they look at me like I'm an idiot when I ask for something as simple as a book of stamps.
"Sir, you can't buy food stamps here"
"No...I want POSTAGE stamps"
"Oh, hehe, my bad"
"Yeah, your bad"
I guess people in Indiana are just that stupid. Lotta inbreeding going on round these parts. That, or everyone's smoking meth/crack cocktails right before clocking in. I'm starting to think that all of the competent people are unemployed, while all the stupid one's somehow keep taking all the jobs!
Sorry, rant over.
