I've been very inactive here for the past few months, and my work on commissions has slowed significantly.
This is due to life circumstances that have led to a deterioration in my mental state and, as a result, severe, prolonged depression due to my bipolar disorder.
I'm undergoing treatment, but I'm still not in remission, so even small things can make me feel worse, let alone major life difficulties.
Furthermore, my work computer was busy all of September because my husband's boss transferred him to remote work, while his computer is broken and can't support work applications.
I was incredibly stressed because I couldn't fulfill commissions or draw anything—I felt guilty for delaying everything amidst my overall problems, which only made the situation worse.
I'm sorry if I made you worry or think I'm just lazy and don't want to do anything. That's just how things are, and I understand how this feels for you all.
It seems like it's all over now, and I feel more energetic and generally in a good mood, so I plan to deliver at least half of my orders this month, if not all of them.
I'm sorry I didn't tell you everything right away. I was embarrassed and afraid to talk about it, but now I realize I want to be honest and not be afraid to tell it like it is.

t's a little strange to think that I'm so grown up, but it's still kind of cool
And I still can't believe that someone watches my work and loves it - it's just something incredible for me
